Recently I read an article by someone with the interesting nom de plume of Bionic Mosquito. It was called Communism Comes to America and was about a book written by Herbert Hoover in which Hoover warned of the Communist threat to this country during the Roosevelt administration.

According to Hoover we should have stayed out of World War 2 and let Germany and Russia slog it out with each other. I can’t disagree with that. Someone recently sent me an email about this article and his comment was that we “fought World War 2 to make the world safe for Communism.” He’s right. Although most folks don’t want to think about that, it is the real reason we fought the war. All you have to do is look at who got what out of the war and it makes sense.

The Roosevelt administration was riddled with Communists and their fellow travelers in the State Department, the Department of Agriculture, and many other departments. If you doubt this I would invite you to read The Web of Subversion by James Burnham or While You Slept–Our Tragedy in Asia and Who Made It by John T. Flynn, and you might want to read that classic by Whittaker Chambers Witness..

All these will give you a picture of the Roosevelt administration many folks would rather not have but need to be aware of anyway.

Despite the fact that the Japanese government and TEPCO were caught red-handed underplaying the severity of the Fukushima nuclear crisis, a study has found that almost a quarter of Fukushima residents hospitalized in the aftermath of last year’s devastating earthquake and tsunami were treated as having a “psychiatric disorder” because of their concerns over radiation.

“Some 24.4 percent of people who were hospitalized in Fukushima with psychiatric disorders in the wake of the outbreak of the crisis at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant had done so possibly because of fears of radiation exposure, according to the results of research conducted by psychiatrists at Fukushima Medical University,” reports the Mainichi Daily News.

The phenomenon of authorities underplaying the threat posed by radiation or even characterizing concerns over it as a mental illness has become a dominant theme since the catastrophe just over a year ago. This is despite the fact that Japanese authorities were caught over and over again lying to cover-up the true scale of the disaster.

After Japanese authorities released thousands on tons of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean, the EPA announced that it was raising the “safe limit” of exposure to iodine-131 by around 100,000 times.

The treatment of Japanese citizens who expressed concerns about radiation sickness only to be told they had a mental illness is similar to how Desert Storm veterans and other U.S. military servicemembers were told that their health problems from exposure to depleted uranium were in fact a result of a psychological disorder.

Skepticism on behalf of Fukushima residents over official assurances about radiation levels, far from being a mental illness, is a perfectly rational and logical response given the Tokyo Electric Power Company’s proven track record of deception in the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster.

Appearing on CNN, GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul was once again forced to dismiss calls for him to drop out of the race for the Republican nomination. In a tense exchange, the Congressman told host Piers Morgan to stop the “silly questions” about quitting.

“If I was prescribing some medicine for you right now, congressman,” Morgan said during the interview, “I think I would say the situation is looking pretty terminal for your race to the GOP nominee. Why don’t you just do the decent thing and pull out?”

Paul fired back, “Why don’t you do the decent thing and not pester me with silly questions like that? That would be decent of you.”

Morgan them spoke over the top of the Congressman as he attempted to clarify his position.

“Why don’t you let me finish?” Paul stated.

When he was finally allowed to speak, the Congressman defended his campaign and said there was still a long way to go in the race.

“You know, whether it’s up in Maine — or right now we’re doing very well in the state of Washington and North Dakota and excellent now in Nevada. And even Missouri the other day, some really good news came out there for us,” Paul said. “Through the process, our people are in the right places. They’re doing the things to become a delegate. So it’s way too soon for you to write anybody off.”

“Besides, just because somebody is in second or third place and — but there’s a race going on. What if Mitt Romney isn’t the best person?” Paul asked. “Why should we just throw in the towel because people like you say, ‘Hey, throw in the towel; people don’t want you out there wanting to debate the war and wanting to debate the Federal Reserve and wanting to debate this civil liberties, you know, assassination on American citizens, the military arresting Americans’?”

The abject failure and refusal of Congress to act in the Obama eligibility crisis continues to harm America and to threaten her citizens as anger, confusion, and doubt build over whether or not our sitting President is even eligible to hold office, let alone be elected to a second term.

Their wait and see attitude is the pernicious blight staining everything else. When a 29 year old Iowa man took a trip to Africa to pursue his love of zoology, he was so overwhelmed by Kenyans asking him how he liked having a Kenyan citizen govern the United States, patriotic Lucas Daniel Smith abandoned his search for an elusive rare animal to turn instead to a quest to verify Barack Obama’s birth story.

In a certified letter he sent to every member of Congress, dated July 4, 2010, he said, “Kenyans were amused at how gullible Americans could be when it came to obvious things like the fact that Kenyans overtly admit to Barack Jr’s Kenyan birth, yet the Americans continue to believe they know better.”

Smith developed a plan that involved taking two Kenyan police and military officers with him to two different Mombasa hospitals. Smith told Congress, “I paid a total of three monetary bribes in the amounts of $200, USD, $500 USD, and $5,000 USD” to get Obama’s birth certificate.

While the premier internet site for everything about Obama’s eligibility, namely World Net Daily, doubts the reliability of the birth certificate Lucas Daniel Smith obtained from the Mombasa Coast Province General Hospital, he did come away with it and that’s worth something.

For a man so in love with the technology of image, the camera, the microphone and the teleprompter, the leader of the increasingly less free world has a natural tendency to put a little too much faith in it. This is the second time that an open microphone has let Obama down, the first time it recorded him stabbing an ally in the back, the second time it recorded him stabbing a few dozen more in the back.

Medvedev, whose bosom buddy just managed to cling to power with a stolen election and brutal suppression of protests, surely understands how O feels. Photo ops with tigers and sunken treasures, not to mention skiing, martial arts and even rap, did not keep the Big P in smooth with the Russian public when the economy headed south.

Vladimir Putin didn’t have any racial guilt to ladle on the voters that might get them to overlook the mansions, the corruption and the abuses of power. But the average American voter, like the Russian voter, is more interested in the meat and potatoes, not to mention the gasoline, than in mystical allusions to the power of history. If Putin at times seemed bent on passing himself off as a new czar and Obama as a new savior, the crown and halo were shattered by the economy.

The TSA ensured that a leading security expert, who has been vocally critical of the agency’s screening methods, was barred from speaking before a Congressional hearing yesterday.

The hearing, before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, was held Monday in an effort to evaluate the agency’s performance and address concerns raised by lawmakers, experts in the field, and members of the public.

Bruce Schneier, an internationally renowned security technologist and author, was scheduled to testify regarding the TSA’s security screening initiatives, but was “formally uninvited” at the last minute following a complaint by the agency.

“On Friday, at the request of the TSA, I was removed from the witness list,” Schneier wrote on his blog Monday.

“The excuse was that I am involved in a lawsuit against the TSA, trying to get them to suspend their full-body scanner programme. But it’s pretty clear that the TSA is afraid of public testimony on the topic, and especially of being challenged in front of Congress. They want to control the story, and it’s easier for them to do that if I’m not sitting next to them pointing out all the holes in their position. Unfortunately, the committee went along with them.” he added.

A Fredericksburg man faces two counts of assault for allegedly pointing his finger at police officers, another example of how any behavior except complete subservience to law enforcement is now being treated as a crime.

David Loveless, who has no criminal record, was arrested and handcuffed last week after he allegedly made a hand gesture at police who had testified against his son in a robbery case.

He now faces two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer by way of intimidation and two counts of obstruction of justice.

Police spokesperson Natatia Bledsoe claimed Loveless made a gun gesture at police officers, but Loveless denies making any kind of gesture at all.

“I don’t see how I was pointing my finger,” Loveless told ABC7. ” If anything I was reaching into my pocket to get a pack of cigarettes. If that’s what they saw, they have a vivid imagination.”

As we have previously highlighted, almost weekly there is a new case of someone being arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer merely for speaking out, making a gesture, or attempting to protect themselves.

Indeed, in some cases a person who is brutally beaten by cops is subsequently charged with assaulting a police officer.

Last year we reported on a case in which Dayton police tasered, pepper-sprayed and beat a mentally handicapped teen and then charged him with assault because the officers took the boy’s speech impediment as “a sign of disrespect”.

17-year-old Jesse Kersey was charged with “assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest, and obstructing official business,” after he became confused when police started asking him questions. Kersey was tased and punched as cops threatened to arrest neighbors who tried to tell them the boy was mentally handicapped.

The mother of slain teen Trayvon Martin wants to trademark her son’s name in the slogans, “I am Trayvon” and “Justice for Trayvon,” according to two petitions filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Federal documents show Sybrina Fulton, the teen’s mother, is the owner of the trademark petitions, which were filed online March 21 by her attorneys Kimra Major-Morris and Natalie Jackson of the Women’s Trial Group.

The trademarks, if granted, would cover digital materials, including DVDs, CDs and audio recordings featuring Trayvon. Each trademark application costs $325.

All over the United States, school children are being taken out of their classrooms, put on buses and sent to “alternate locations” during terror drills. These exercises are often called “evacuation drills” or “relocation drills” and they are more than a little disturbing. Sometimes parents are notified in advance where the kids are being taken and sometimes they are only told that the children are being taken to an “undisclosed location”. In the years since 9/11 and the Columbine school shootings, there has been a concerted effort to make school emergency drills much more “realistic” and much more intense. Unfortunately, the fact that many of these drills are deeply traumatizing many children does not seem to bother too many people. Do we really need to have “active shooter” drills where men point guns at our kids and fire blanks at them?

The mainstream media has hyped it; Mama and Papa have had their faces before the mainstream media lens at every available opportunity; Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are running their mouths endlessly, pastors are hyping it, the mainstream media has turned it into a three-ring circus.

To hear all these talking heads tell it, Trayvon Martin was killed in cold blood.
