I agree that the plan backfired, no matter who started it. I thought Obama himself directed Ms. Rosen in that; but it makes perfect sense if it was Michelle. But one thing that should be cleared up is this: if the wife or any other family member steps into the political arena, as both Michelle and Anne have done, that person is fair game. So, Obama is wrong again, on both counts.
