It’s time to toss the all-volunteer military – The Washington Post Rate This Since the end of the military draft in 1973, every person joining the U.S. armed forces has done so because he or she asked to be there.
Over the past decade, this all-volunteer force has been put to the test and has succeeded, fighting two sustained foreign wars with troops standing up to multiple combat deployments and extreme stress. This is precisely the reason it is time to get rid of the all-volunteer force. It has been too successful. Airborne troops from Russia and the Untied States would hold joint anti-terror drills in the U.S. state of Colorado between May 24 and 31, spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Col. Alexander Kucherenko said on Thursday.
According to the spokesman, it will be the first time that the Russian airborne forces have held exercises with the U.S. airborne forces on the U.S. territory.
“According to the exercise scenario, soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including the reconnaissance of imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid,” Kucherenko said.
“After the operation, a helicopter will evacuate the soldiers,” Kucherenko said, adding that the Russian soldiers will also exercise with the U.S. special service weapons in the drills in Fort Carson, Colorado.
Besides, the spokesman said, the Russian group will arrive a week ahead of the drills and attend a baseball game in the city of Colorado Springs.

Barack Obama is attacking the family farm – an American tradition. The administration’s Department of Labor implemented new regulations to restrict children from working on the family farm. This is despite the fact that farm accidents and injuries have decreased over the past several years.
For generations children and adults have worked together on the family farm. Those days are over.

Senators John Thune (R-S.D.) and Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) introduced the Preserving America’s Family Farm Act, to prevent the Department of Labor (DOL) from enacting its controversial proposed restrictions that would ban children from working on family farms.
Recently, Senator John Thune spoke out against the Obama Administration’s proposed labor rules for youth who work on farms and ranches on the Senate floor.
The Marxist-Leninist dogma said, “A small property generates capitalism day by day, minute by minute, spontaneous, and in mass proportions.” The small-time farmer feeding his family, with a little surplus, was seen as an individual member of the bourgeoisie, requiring squashing.
Redistributing wealth is the only thing communists know how to do brutally and stealthily well. Those who do not pay taxes or hold down jobs protest that it is their right to steal someone else’s money. They’ve even come up with a new euphemism, they are not stealing the wealth of producers, they are merely forcing them to “share the burden.”

That revelation, which was greeted with a ho-hum by the media, basically announced that by 2033, 21 years from now, the so-called Social Security trust fund will be empty.
The only reason this was even announced is because we are approaching a presidential election campaign, and in response to Perry’s much-derided claim, the government’s actuaries, who originally told the Obama administration and the public that the fund would be solvent until 2036, re-examined their numbers and concluded that it will be in the red three years earlier than they thought.

“Airborne troops from Russia and the United States would hold joint anti-terror drills in the U.S. state of Colorado between May 24 and 31,” reports the Xinhua news agency, citing Russian Defense Ministry Col. Alexander Kucherenko. The story was also reported by Russian news outlet RIA Novosti.
The exercises, which will mark the first time the respective country’s two airborne forces have held joint drills on U.S. territory, will revolve around the the “reconnaissance of imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid,” and will also involve evacuations of the troops by helicopter.
The Russian soldiers will also be given access to U.S. special service weapons at Fort Carson.
However, the Russian troops won’t just be confined to a U.S. military base – on May 27 they’ll be out in the local community attending a baseball game in Colorado Springs.
“This announcement comes at a time when Russia actually has troops working in cooperation with China,” points out Business Insider’s Eloise Lee, making reference to one of the largest ever Russian-Sino naval drills currently underway in the Yellow Sea.
Alex Jones has documented foreign troops being trained on U.S. soil to deal with “insurgents” since the late 1990′s as part of “urban warfare drills”.

This article came from an Encyclopedia of American History, used to teach school kids until 1955, published by Harper and Row. It is 840 pages of a wealth of information. It shows the man who really discovered America. It shows all the land was called the Virginia land company, in dispute with the two corporations; the East India company and the Hudson Bay company. All three companies were owned by British business corporations. Remember; the American did not know, at the time, that the Vatican owned and controlled these British corporations, and their subjects, since the 1214 Treaty the King had with the Vatican’s Pope.
However, to hide this fact, the King was allowed to be the front for the Vatican (so as to hide this fact), as the modern Mafia has corporations front for them to hide from the FBI and other agencies. So, with that background, we shall see just how far down the slippery slopes of the Corporations of the States and United States are allowed to stifle education, so much so, that people have no clue who they really are and no clue who controls them. I will not make any comment, as it is all from the history books. You present day people, under 58, never have seen books in schools like this. IF I DO MAKE COMMENTS, it will be in all CAPS with [[[brackets around them]]]. The bolds are from the book itself and is not by chapters, but by the era of the time periods and you are referred to other pages of the book. So one is constantly going back and forth in the book.

I realize that many Tea Party folks have fallen for leftist tricks aimed at keeping the current Article II constitutional crisis off the table, but just how far are they willing to fall in the name of political agendas?
Real “constitutionalists” are as concerned about Article II as they are any other constitutional text, maybe even more so since the current Muslim-n-Chief is a one-man constitutional crisis of monumental proportions. Faux “constitutionalists” are those who cherry-pick which parts of the founding document to take issue with, based on their individual political agenda.
Many Tea Party folks seem to not care whether or not we uphold Article II constitutional requirements for the offices of President and Vice President. Others seem perfectly happy to accept fraudulent definitions of the term “Natural Born Citizen” so long as it suits their political agenda.
However, there is a reason why members of congress tried to alter the Natural Born Citizen requirement at least eight times in the run-up to Obama’s fraudulent election in 2008 – why leftists insist that the founders meant “anchor baby” when they insisted that only Natural Born Citizens of the United States hold the highest offices in our land – and that Marco Rubio would make the perfect VP selection for Mitt Romney in 2012….
In a word, the reason is AMNESTY by any means.
Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is without any reasonable doubt, a total fraud, and ineligible for the office he currently holds. Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen of the United States and neither is Marco Rubio.
So, to keep Obama in office, leftists must eliminate the true meaning of the term Natural Born Citizen and the best way to do that is to get Republicans to put their own ineligible candidate on the ticket with Romney… enter Marco Rubio.
Simply stated, a Natural Born Citizen is a citizen via the bloodline of the natural birth father. Obama’s natural birth father was a no time in his life, a legal citizen of the United States. He was at all times a legal citizen of Kenya and as such, could only pass Kenyan citizenship to Barack Hussein Obama II.

On May 31, 2009, then-Gov. Palin announced Alaska would adopt a “watch and wait” attitude:
“If this initiative produces useful results, Alaska will remain free to incorporate them,” Gov. Palin said, adding that “high expectations are not always created by new, mandated federal standards written on paper. They are created in the home, the community and the classroom.”
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, to his credit, was the next to recognize a federal boondoggle when he saw one: “I will not commit Texas taxpayers to unfunded federal obligations or to the adoption of unproven, cost-prohibitive national standards and tests,” Gov. Perry wrote in a Jan. 13, 2010, letter to U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan.
In the ensuing two years, it’s become clear that Perry and Palin — two core conservative figures whose intelligence is routinely mocked by liberal “sophisticates” — were brilliantly prescient, indeed prophetic.

What if Zimmerman Gets an All White Jury?
Accused murderer of Trayvon Martin George Zimmerman almost certainly will eventually face a jury. And what if that jury is all white? A recent Duke University study showed that all white juries in Florida were more likely to convict a black defendant than mixed ethnic juries. Though Zimmerman isn’t black, the defense almost certainly will pull out all stops to make the case that Zimmerman was the real victim and that Martin was the aggressor. In essence this means that jurors will be asked to do a defendant and victim role reversal and put Martin on trial.

After walking free for two months before he was charged, George Zimmerman was released on bond for murder charges. That release has many people questioning the judicial system.
Zimmerman was released on $150,000 on April 23. He is required to wear a GPS monitoring device and to check in with courts if he goes to another state. That result is insufficient to many who think the process has been a joke.

On Monday morning, my coffee was tainted, thanks to Drudge, by a story he posted in large letters at the top of his site.

It was a stomach-turning, New York Times piece from Sunday that crowed about the Dear Leader Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) unilaterally deciding that he is proudly using his Executive powers to bypass Congress.
Never mind that the Executive branch does not have the power to bypass Congress in matters unrelated to the limited confines of Executive authority, and even among the Executive powers, the President must have the consent of Congress in certain instances.
Of course, the Times story is not Drudge’s fault; he just linked to it, but since I do not bother reading the communist Left’s mouthpiece newspaper of record, I would not have otherwise seen the article. The title of the column was “Shift on Executive Powers Let Obama Bypass Rivals (Congress).” What shift, and by whom? The last I checked, the United States Constitution has not been “shifted,” although it has certainly been ignored for decades, but especially by the current administration.

Police launch ‘abusive’ midnight wakeup calls
Police in Richmond, Va., have announced an initiative for officers on the midnight shift to inspect parked vehicles and then knock on the door of the owner’s home during the 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. time period “for an unexpected wakeup call” if they discover a situation that would lend itself to theft or vandalism.
But a civil-rights organization says the policy treads on citizens’ constitutional rights and, moreover, could create a dangerous situation for both the citizen and the police officer.
“The recent Trayvon Martin incident from Florida should serve as a stark warning of how the fear and misunderstanding of a homeowner can turn a benign situation into a tragedy involving loss of life,” John Whitehead, president of the Rutherford Institute, said in a letter to Richmond police chief Bryan Norwood.

A Catholic bishop in Illinois has come under intense attack for his comparison of President Obama’s healthcare policies with actions taken by Hitler in Germany. Bishop Daniel Jenky told attendees during a mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Peoria April 14 that the Obama administration is modeling historically repressive regimes that “tried to force Christians to huddle and hide only within the confines of their churches.”
The Associated Press quoted Bishop Jenky as saying that “Hitler and Stalin, at their better moments, would just barely tolerate some churches remaining open, but would not tolerate any competition with the state in education, social services and health care. In clear violation of our First Amendment rights, Barack Obama — with his radical, pro-abortion and extreme secularist agenda — now seems intent on following a similar path.”
The comments sparked a firestorm of protest from liberal individuals and groups. Lonnie Nasatir of the Chicago branch of the Anti-Defamation League demanded that Jenky apologize, calling his remarks “outrageous, offensive and completely over the top.” Nasatir insisted that the bishop’s comments had trivialized the deaths of millions of Jews, adding that there were few if any historic parallels to “the religious intolerance and anti-Semitism fostered in society by Stalin, and especially Hitler.”

The Chicago Tribune reported that the atheist group Americans United for Separation of Church and State had filed a complaint against Jenky with the IRS, in an attempt to wreak havoc with the diocese’s tax-exempt status. According to the Tribune, the secular group’s president, Barry Lynn, had accused the bishop of effectively urging Catholics to vote against Obama in the upcoming election, thereby violating federal law by inserting the church into a political campaign.
