Since 2005, Veterans for Peace and others have been calling for the impeachment of the sitting president for war crimes. After their demands to lawmakers to uphold the rule of law against Bush were largely ignored, they renewed their effort to impeach Obama once he continued to bomb sovereign nations without congressional approval. Now, lawmakers seem to have finally decided to take the rule of law and Separation of Powers seriously.

Is 2013 the Real 2012? | Veterans Today

May 22, 2012 1 comment

Apocalyptic fever is running high. A friend in the Bible Belt, who recently became “born again,” called me excitedly to tell me she was leaving me her house. “In case I suddenly vanish,” she confided.

Of course. She would be raptured up and I, a hard core “One God” believer, would be left behind. How sweet of her to make preparations for the damned.

But the projected date for the rapture came and went and disappointed, my friend abandoned her new found religion. Not so fast for the 2012-er’s however. The end of the world is still scheduled for December 21, 2012 according to those who buy into the Mayan prophecies, Planet X, Niburu, exponential solar flares –did I miss anything?

The scenarios are stunning—tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, as the world comes crashing down around us.

And should we awaken the morning of December 22 to find ourselves still alive, the ratcheting up of doomsday prophecies will deflate like a spent balloon.

And we just may find ourselves sucker-punched.

UN Agenda 21 and the Military

May 22, 2012 Leave a comment

By Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Welcome to UN Agenda 21 “sustainability” in the last bastion of capitalism – the U.S. military. According to the May 19, 2012 issue of Army Times, “The Defense Department, like other federal agencies, is already under orders from the White House to curb energy use throughout its operations and emphasize Sustainable Development. “Planners must make bases more walkable.”(Sean Reilly)

The euphemisms concocted by the environmentalists with the Club of Rome, the original developers of the scare tactic idea of fabricated global warming/climate change catastrophes, have made their way into the military lingo.

The federal government guidelines demand “compact development,” “mass transit,” “energy conservation,” “sustainable development,” and high-rise mixed housing, a five-minute walk from shops and work. Land preservation must be included in military missions, a monumental challenge, costing a huge amount of taxpayer dollars since the Defense Department has 300,000 buildings and 2.2 billion square feet.

Dorothy Robyn, Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Installations and Environment, described U.S. military bases as “very sprawling, very auto-centric; you have to have a car to get around.” She bemoaned the fact that one base has 70,000 parking spots and the daily population never exceeds 40,000. “Urban sprawl” destroys Mother Nature and must be eventually eradicated by the environmentalist lobby. All confiscated land will be rededicated to wilderness.

IN DECEMBER 1862, from his military headquarters in Mississippi, Major General Ulysses S. Grant issued a directive expelling "Jews as a class" from the immense war zone known as the Department of the Tennessee. General Orders No. 11 was the most notorious anti-Jewish edict ever issued by an official of the US government, and it was overruled by the commander-in-chief -- President Abraham Lincoln -- as soon as he learned of it in Washington.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Paul’s campaign organized at the precinct, congressional, and state levels to win the 13 delegates chosen May 19 at the state convention. One Paul-aligned prospective delegate graciously stepped aside – resulting in Paul garnering 12 of the 13 available slots – so local Congresswoman and former presidential candidate Michele Bachmann could attend the Tampa national convention as a delegate.

Overall, including delegates won prior to the state convention, the Paul campaign has claimed 32 of the 40 national delegates selected in Minnesota, a state where Paul had handily lost the caucus to Rick Santorum.

What was it that hit the Pentagon? And with over 100 operable cameras, why hasn’t the government allowed us to view the video? He also talks about the globalist agenda for our food supply, the fluoridation of our water and what he believes their plan is.

For followers of his show Conspiracy Theory, Jesse tells us that he’ll know in a couple of weeks if it will be allowed to continue. There’s no lack of material when it comes to government conspiracies, says Ventura. With 15-16 already done, he can think of at least 30 more he wants to do. He is a loyal follower of Col. L. Fletcher Prouty (see book below) who said: “Nothing just happens. Everything’s planned.”

Jesse also talks about why he is contemplating Mexican citizenship. He closes with a couple of quotes that put what’s happened to the US in perfect perspective. The first is from Albert Einstein:

Should Black People Tolerate This? by Walter E. Williams

May 22, 2012 1 comment

Each year, roughly 7,000 blacks are murdered. Ninety-four percent of the time, the murderer is another black person. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, between 1976 and 2011, there were 279,384 black murder victims. Using the 94 percent figure means that 262,621 were murdered by other blacks. Though blacks are 13 percent of the nation’s population, they account for more than 50 percent of homicide victims.

Nationally, black homicide victimization rate is six times that of whites, and in some cities, it’s 22 times that of whites. Coupled with being most of the nation’s homicide victims, blacks are most of the victims of violent personal crimes, such as assault and robbery.

The magnitude of this tragic mayhem can be viewed in another light. According to a Tuskegee Institute study, between the years 1882 and 1968, 3,446 blacks were lynched at the hands of whites. Black fatalities during the Korean War (3,075), Vietnam War (7,243) and all wars since 1980 (8,197) come to 18,515, a number that pales in comparison with black loss of life at home. It’s a tragic commentary to be able to say that young black males have a greater chance of reaching maturity on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan than on the streets of Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, Newark and other cities.

A much larger issue is how might we interpret the deafening silence about the day-to-day murder in black communities compared with the national uproar over the killing of Trayvon Martin.

Such a response by politicians, civil rights organizations and the mainstream news media could easily be interpreted as “blacks killing other blacks is of little concern, but it’s unacceptable for a white to kill a black person.”

Would the US Military Stand Down and ‘Empower a Revolution’?

May 22, 2012 2 comments

If the United States saw similar turnouts at Federal and State government buildings, would our leadership resign without a fight as well? Are we to believe that the same logic being used to compel dictators in the middle east to step down would be applied domestically if the people, in a public show of protest, deemed our government to be tyrannical and it’s leaders dictators? Moreover, does this mean that any such civil disobedience, riots, and gunfire would be ignored by military and law enforcement, who would be ordered to, as Mr. Gates suggested to Syria, stand on the sidelines?

Plan afoot for U.N. to rule Internet

They’re kidding, right?

India wants to set up a system whereby the United Nations would rule the Internet.

The Internet is governed by “a voluntary, multi-stakeholder group called ICANN or Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.” This group, headquartered in California, ensures that the Internet is free and mostly decentralized. ICANN has a Government Advisory Council (GAC), and invites governments across the world, including India, to participate.

But that is not good enough for India, which wants to set up a different system wherein the United Nations would rule the Internet.

The details of this effort are alarming. Be sure to click this link, read the piece, and let your congressional reps know what you think.

Obama’s dangerous mistake: attacking religious freedoms

May 22, 2012 1 comment

America’s religious communities are fighting back against Barack Obama’s attack on our religious liberties. Since Obama started his war on religious freedoms he has driven faith guided voters from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party. The politically lethal “contraception” mandate destroyed the Democrats in 2010 even before its violence to religious teachings was widely known.

Given the bumbling disjointed nature of the Republican Party it would be hard to credit the large shift of voter allegiance to the GOP to steps John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have taken. That leaves only one other possibility: Barack Obama himself.

The debate over the Iraq War that was held in the United Nations, and in academic and foreign policy circles, could be broken down as the question whether it was Iraq or the United States that was the rogue nation. On the one hand, Iraq had defied multiple UN resolutions, but so had the United States. Iraq had gone rogue, but, by talking about a unilateral invasion, so had the United States, and, in the moral calculus of the international community, all that mattered was being a team player.

Prison Planet.com » Obama’s Five Trillion Dollar Lie

May 22, 2012 2 comments

Why isn’t the U.S. economy in a depression right now? The number one reason is because the federal government has stolen more than five trillion dollars from future generations since Barack Obama was elected and has used that money to pump up our grossly inflated standard of living. Whether the federal government spends money wisely or foolishly, the truth is that the vast majority of it still ends up in the pockets of the American people who then use it to buy the things they need for their daily lives.

English: Barack Obama delivers a speech at the...

English: Barack Obama delivers a speech at the University of Southern California (Video of the speech) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

If the U.S. government had not borrowed and spent an extra five trillion dollars that we did not have over the past several years, we would be in the middle of a rip-roaring economic depression right now. So any talk that Barack Obama is “improving the economy” is a total farce. It is a five trillion dollar lie. The reality is that Barack Obama and the U.S. Congress have been stealing trillions of dollars from future generations in order to make things tolerable in the present. If the federal government adopted a balanced budget next year, the debt-fueled prosperity that we are currently enjoying would start disappearing very rapidly and all hell would break loose in America.

NATO Chicago Summit: Protests, Bomb Plots … And Expanded NATO Missions

May 22, 2012 2 comments

More than 40 protesters were arrested and at least four police officers were injured, as thousands of demonstrators staged street protests in Chicago on Sunday during the May 20-21 NATO Summit. Protests resumed on Monday, but were considerably smaller, with one group of demonstrators gathering outside the Boeing corporation’s headquarters to protest the aircraft company’s involvement in producing military weapons for NATO.

Protesters associated with causes ranging from opposition to the war in Afghanistan to immigration reform and Occupy Wall Street, converged on McCormick Place Convention Center where President Barack Obama hosted NATO heads of state and leaders of 13 additional “NATO partner nations.”

In comparison to the violence that has marked many other international conferences in recent years — G-8, G-20, NATO, WTO, IMF and World Bank — the protests in Chicago stayed largely peaceful, but on Sunday clashes between protesters and police escalated as protesters hurled red paint, bottles, sticks, stones, and other objects.

Even more serious drama was added to the mix with the arrest of three men on charges of conspiracy to commit terrorism and possession of explosives, and the follow-up arrests of two additional activists, one of whom was charged with saying he intended to blow up an area bridge, the other who was accused of attempting to buy ingredients for pipe bombs. Information that officials have released thus far has been sketchy, but the alleged terror plots appear to be less serious than some headlines originally indicated. Attorneys for the defendants are claiming entrapment, saying that the plots would not have originated without the aid of police undercover operatives.

Obama’s Chicago Hate Group Connection

Posted By Daniel Greenfield On May 22, 2012 @ 12:22 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage | No Comments

Munir Muhammad is grandfatherly and soft-spoken. He is on a first-name basis with half the politicians in Chicago, and has sat across the table with power players ranging from several governors of his state to Barack Hussein Obama. Muhammad is also a leading figure in one of America’s oldest hate groups.

Born James Waller in Birmingham, Alabama, he drifted into the orbit of the Nation of Islam, changed his name, and moved up through the ranks in the organization. Today his Coalition for the Remembrance of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad is one of the fragmented organizations, squabbling over the vicious legacy of the Nation of Islam.

The Nation of Islam, one of the country’s oldest hate groups, has an ugly fratricidal history. Along with its violent attacks on those outside its circle of race and religion, fueled by a belief that white people are subhumans created by a black mad scientist, it has carried on an equally violent campaign against its own. The list of Nation of Islam dissidents murdered or assaulted by their own people stretches back nearly eighty years. Despite the call to racial solidarity, there is little unity even within the ranks of the Nation of Islam, whose management often resembles that of a gang, rather than a religious group.

The Internet king is dead, or at least has to share the crown.

Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, the web browser leader since the Netscape coup (circa 1995), has been surpassed globally by Google’s Chrome browser, according to recent numbers from StatCounter.com. There’s a good write-up at PC Magazine.

Prison Planet.com » New Bill Would Make It Legal To Target Propaganda And “Psychological Operations” Directly At U.S. Citizens

May 22, 2012 1 comment

Should it be legal for the U.S. government to spend billions of dollars on propaganda designed to change public opinion in the United States? Should it be legal for the U.S. government to use television, radio, newspapers, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and Internet forums to conduct “psychological operations” targeted at the American public?

WASHINGTON - DECEMBER 18: Sen. Joseph Lieberm...

WASHINGTON – DECEMBER 18: Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) speaks during a press conference on a procedural vote on a ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ repeal on Capitol Hill December 18, 2010 in Washington, DC. An amendment that has been added to a new defense bill in Congress would make it legal to target propaganda and “psychological operations” directly at U.S. citizens. The latest version of the National Defense Authorization Act would overturn the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 and the Foreign Relations Authorization Act of 1987. Those two laws essentially make it illegal for propaganda that is used to influence public opinion overseas to be targeted at U.S. citizens back here at home. If those two laws are struck down, there will be essentially very few limits to what the U.S. government can do to shape our opinions.

The government would be able to bombard us with propaganda messages on television, on the radio, in our newspapers and on the Internet and there would not even be a requirement that those messages be true. In fact, just as happens so often overseas, it would likely be inevitable that the government would purposely disseminate misinformation to the American public for the sake of “national security”. That is why it is imperative that this bill not become law.

Cops Don’t Make Me Feel Safe ~ We Have More To Fear From Cops Than from criminals, says Eric Peters.

May 22, 2012 2 comments

It has been said – and I agree – that the typical person (i.e., the person just trying to get through the day, do their thing) has more to fear from a cop than a (non-official, non-uniformed) criminal.

Harsh? No, a reality check.

I’m in my mid-40s and – so far – have not been robbed at gunpoint by an ordinary criminal. But I have been robbed at gunpoint literally dozens of times by cops, who have a license to rob me. Cumulatively, the total I’ve had to “stand and deliver” – in the felicitous phrase of the appropriately named highway robber of yore – comes to thousands of dollars, over the past twenty-something years. It’s dressed up, of course – in order to make the cop feel better about himself and what he’s doing (he’s just keeping us safe, etc.) and also to douse the rage of his victim by getting him to accept what’s done to him as something other than it is.

That being, a robbery at gunpoint.
