It’s worth looking back on Reagan’s policy on involving U.S. troops in the quarrels and hatreds of the Middle East. In 1983, he committed U.S. Marines to Lebanon. On Oct. 23, a terrorist truck bomb blew up the troops’ barracks, killing 220 Marines and 21 other troops.

    We should have left the Middle East right after the killing of all those troops. Too bad we are not destined to have another Ronald Reagan in the White House any time soon. I still think we ought to nuke them till they glow then shoot them in the dark. They are intolerant of other religions and cultures. Why should we be tolerant of them?
