For those of you who never heard of Ron Paul before the debate, I have known him for more than twenty five years. I have been with him many times in many settings.
I recall being with him in fellow physician Larry McDonald�s congressional office in Washington, which would have had to be more than twenty four years ago. Remember that my dear friend Larry was probably kidnapped by the Soviets on September first, 1983, when they shot down Koran Air Lines 007. He was an old-school Democrat, of course, and completely shared our beliefs.
I have spent time with Ron between congressional stints in his medical office. After the Patriot Act, he told me ruefully that the congressmen who voted for it had not been allowed to read it and knew only what they had been told. A few months back, we were together in his district office in Lake Jackson and he told me he was breaking in his new knees. That�s right, in addition to all his other qualities, Dr. Ron is now a bionic Member of Congress.

The communistic rabble-rousers at the left-wing hate group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center have produced yet another libelous smear of well-meaning Americans who would like to see their Constitution enforced. This time the smears, lies, false innuendo, character assassination, and hate are directed at all those who believe that part of the definition of an American patriot is one who believes in the founding fathers’ philosophy of limited constitutional government.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a far-left hate group whose modus operandi is to attempt to censor criticisms of big government in America by calling people names. If you are a Jeffersonian who believes that limited and decentralized government is better than unlimited, centralized, monopolistic government, then they will label you a racist, a slavery defender, or worse. If you are a Ron Paul constitutionalist, they will insinuate that you are probably a terrorist who would like to blow up government buildings. If you are not a leftist, then you are, by definition, a “hater.”
If you are a critic of the welfare state, it is because you hate poor people. If you are a critic of the government school bureaucracy, it is because you hate children. If you are a critic of racial hiring quotas (which are supposedly illegal under the Civil Rights Act of 1964), then you are a racist.
If you oppose socialized medicine, it is because you hate sick people. If you are a critic of the Ponzi scheme known as “social security,” it is because you hate old people. There cannot possibly be any intellectual reasons to doubt government intervention; all criticisms of intervention are motivated by hate and nothing else according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
With the advent of the TEA Party and the Republican takeover of the U.S. House of Representatives, the SPLC issued one of its cartoonish “intelligence reports” on “The Year in Hate,” bemoaning the “explosive growth” of “the radical right.” Everyone on the “right” is a “radical extremist.” There are no radicals or extremists on the left in the eyes of the extreme radical communists at the SPLC.

Has anyone ever researched former Congressman Larry McDonald? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_McDonald
His disappearance is rather interesting…
A Conservative Democrat, he was active in numerous civil organizations and maintained a conservative voting record in Congress. He was known for his staunch opposition to communism and believed in long standing covert efforts by powerful US groups to bring about a socialist world government.
He served as Congressman in seventh district of Georgia. He was re-elected four times and served from January 3, 1975, until his disappearance, on September 1, 1983.
An admirer of Austrian economics, he was an advocate of tight monetary policy in the late 1970s to get the economy out of stagflation. He was also a passionate advocate of laissez-faire or market based policies.

Frank Schwable (July 18, 1908 – October 28, 1988) was a decorated Marine pilot whose prosecution for collaborating with his Korean captors while a prisoner of war was dismissed in 1954.
Frank H. Schwable, the son of a marine colonel who served thirty years, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1929.[1] He was awarded the Cross of Valor by the Nicaraguan government in 1932.[2] In September 1933, he was among 19 aviators representing the Marine Corps at the International Air Races in Chicago.[3] He received the Legion of Merit for his service in World War II.[4]
While Chief of Staff of the First Marine Air Wing, he and his co-pilot were reported missing on a combat mission in Korea in July 1952.[5] On Feb 23, 1953, the Chinese broadcast charges that 2 officers, including Schwable and his co-pilot, had said that the U.S. was conducting germ warfare. Schwable was quoted saying the purpose was to “to test under field conditions various elements of bacteriological warfare and possibly to expand field tests at a later date into an element of regular combat operations”.[6] When Schwable was quoted confessing to germ warfare, his wife said: “That’s the same old Communist malarkey. Nobody believes it.”[7]

Incredible developments have emerged spelling out how Romney may not have actually taken the nomination, after all. Even with news circulating like wildfire that Romney secured the Republican nomination with an alleged win in Tuesday’s Texas Primary, it seems as though this may not actually be the case.
Ironically enough, Romney still may not have even taken Texas, yet. After a careful comb through the numbers, how the race is playing out and what delegate totals are emerging from the states, it seems as though Romney currently has only around half of the 1,144 delegates needed to win the Republican nomination. So, why is the ‘national’ media acting this way? Are they incorrectly still using the ‘estimated’ delegate totals, based on the initial caucuses and primaries from each state, while ignoring the actual delegate totals emerging as the states finally begin to conclude their weeks-long delegate selection processes?

Apparently, as with so many other things, some people who hold the Presidency have class and some don’t. To all appearances, former President George W. Bush is the former, and current President Barack Obama is the latter, at least if this afternoon‘s unveiling of former President Bush’s Presidential portrait is any guide.
This event – which is, at least in theory, supposed to be free of partisan sniping, got an earful of just that when President Obama gave his introductory remarks welcoming Bush:

(Reuters) – Former President Bill Clinton believes a candidate with Republican Mitt Romney’s business success and political background is qualified for the White House, but he said Democratic President Barack Obama would be a better choice for the country.
“There is no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office and basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold,” Clinton said of Romney in an interview with CNN on Thursday.

“But they have dramatically different proposals, and it’s my opinion, anyway, that the Obama proposals and the Obama record is far better for the American economy and most Americans than those that Governor Romney has laid out,” Clinton said of his fellow Democrat. “That’s what the election ought to be about.”

Around 1.45 PM on May 23, Ashville, North Carolina resident Larry Keller was in the midst of an international call which he had to cut short in order to answer his front door. He found two armed agents of the EPA who were accompanied by an Ashville Police officer………
