EconomicPolicyJournal.com: Is Rand Paul Taunting ‘Internet Libertarians’?
By far, I think the most damaging thing Rand Paul did last week was attempt to link the Mitt Romney views on the Fed as being the same as those of his father.

In second place, I don’t put Rand’s endorsement of Romney (I put that in third place). In second place, I put these words said by Rand during the same Sean Hannity Show where he endorsed Romney:

Former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura’s lawsuit against Navy SEAL Chris Kyle over Kyle’s claims that he punched Ventura in a bar for insulting a dead U.S. soldier has gone to court, with Ventura receiving the backing of several prominent former SEALs who affirm the incident never happened.

Kyle claimed that he met Ventura in a bar in Coronado in 2006 while Ventura was in town to speak to a new class of SEAL graduates at nearby Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Also present were family members holding a wake for Michael Mansoor, one of the first SEALs killed in Iraq. Kyle claims Ventura began loudly objecting to the war in Iraq before calling the troops “murderers” and saying “we deserved to lose a few guys”.
Court used to deliver latest ‘SWAT’ attack
A homosexual activist from Maine has used a court to deliver the latest “SWAT” attack on a pro-family ministry, obtaining a “protective” order even though the defendant, Brian Camenker of Mass Resistance, never had contacted him, according to a new ministry report.
“SWAT” attacks on pro-family and pro-faith ministries have developed lately, and they involve someone using a telephone program and calling authorities purporting to be from the ministry or ministry leader’s location. They “report” a murder, or shooting, or similar event…………

A Breach of Contract by Butler Shaffer… (Is The Constitution A Contract?)
Imagine that you have agreed with an auto dealer to purchase the luxurious Belchfire X-1 automobile, for which you agree to pay $45,000, with monthly payments to extend over a period of three years.
You sign the sales agreement, and are then told to return the following day to sign the formal contract, which you do.

The left’s greatest fear is the emergence of a new power relationship between populist politicians and a people looking for more freedom and less control. It is the thing that terrifies them and keeps them up nights. They know that such a power relationship has the potential to sweep away everything that they have done; all the intermediaries they have built up between the people and the government; all the insulation that keeps the people away from the centers of power and keeps the centers of power away from the people.
People are not interested in abstract debates, they are interested in concrete benefits. The left has made it its mission to give them concrete benefits, while hiding the true cost of those benefits, and the restrictions that come with them. Only when people have grown used to the benefits, do they begin to experience the true cost and the power of the cage that has been built around them with their consent.
Obama’s Sinister “Religion”—Racist Marxism Under a Faux Biblical Veneer
III. Marx’s Communist Faith: Political Atheist ReligionAccording to Eric Voegelin in Volume 5 of his Collected Works, titled Modernity Without Restraint, Karl Marx was an “activist mystic” in the same tradition as Auguste Comte. Veogelin describes Marx’s anti-spiritual creed as part of the larger socialist attempt to wipe out God and replace Him with a religion of mankind.
He refers to ideologies like these as political religions.Voegelin describes Marx’s character in his chapter, The Murder of God, as being one whom seeks to elevate the God murderer into the place of God—perhaps analogous to Sir Jame’s Frazer’s Golden Bough regicide recounted in Apocalypse Now—in the killing of Colonel Kurtz.Voegelin mentions some compelling aspects of Marx’s God murder. First, that this is the ultimate “intellectual swindle.” Second, that this deicide must be retroactive to cover such an egregious act.
