JB Williams — Why is Romney Vetting an Ineligible VP Prospect?

ABC News picked up reports from new media sources claiming that Marco Rubio was not being properly vetted by the Romney campaign.

USA Today raised the question with Romney who responded – Mitt Romney told reporters in Michigan that Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is being looked at as his possible running mate, adding that a news story out today about the Tea Party favorite not being vetted was “entirely false.” – “Marco Rubio is being thoroughly vetted as part of our process,” Romney said during a campaign stop in Holland, Mich.

Okay, so Marco Rubio is being vetted for the VP position by the Romney campaign. However, since it is well-known that Marco Rubio is not a Natural Born Citizen of the United States, he is obviously not eligible for the office of President under Article II or Vice President under the XII Amendment.

Article II states – “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President;” and a Natural Born Citizen was recently confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be a person born to legal citizen parents, no matter the place of birth.

The XII Amendment states – “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”

Marco Rubio was born the son of Cuban citizens, not American citizens. Rubio’s parents did not become legal citizens of the United States until years after Marco’s birth. Marco Rubio is not a Natural Born Citizen of the United States and based on constitutional office requirements, Marco is not eligible for the office of Vice President or President.

So, why is the Romney campaign vetting Rubio? How much vetting do they need to do to figure out what everyone else already knows? Rubio isn’t eligible…

Barack Obama has been under investigation for years now, with hundreds of suits filed in an effort to deliver evidence to the courts that Barack Hussein Obama is a fraud, not a Natural Born Citizen eligible to hold the office or president. A ballot challenge is underway in Florida among other states, contesting Obama’s eligibility for office and his right to even appear on the ballot in 2012.

The AP Reports: “The plaintiff is represented by conservative legal activist Larry Klayman, who questioned Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate. Klayman also argued Monday that even if Obama was born in the United States he still is not a natural citizen because his father was a foreign national.”

“Lawyers for the president and Florida Department of State argued the suit challenging Obama’s placement on the 2012 Florida ballot as the Democratic presidential nominee doesn’t give a cause of action because he hasn’t been nominated yet.”

“Klayman also said U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio isn’t a natural born citizen.”

Despite government efforts to deny the people a legal forum to ask these questions, efforts to right the fraud of 2008 persist and Rubio is already on the radar of those who simply want a strict adherence to the U.S. Constitution on the matter…………………..
