Republicans blast Pentagon for allowing military uniforms in gay pride parade
Republican lawmakers are blasting the Pentagon‘s decision to allow troops to march in uniform at a San Diego gay pride parade last week.
Two senior Republicans on the House and Senate Armed Services committees said Tuesday that the Pentagon was out of line to grant the one-time exemption that allowed military uniforms in the parade.
Rep. Randy Forbes (R-Va.) said the Pentagon made a “dangerous exception” to its policy of not allowing military uniforms in parades. In a statement, the Armed Forces Readiness subcommittee chairman said that the decision was a made to advance the Obama administration’s social agenda.
“I am calling on the DOD to halt these dangerous exceptions to policy for political purposes. This decision was an outrageous and blatantly political determination issued solely to advance this Administration’s social agenda,” Forbes said in a statement Tuesday.
“Sadly, this is yet another violation in what has become a pattern of this Administration’s assault on the longstanding history of the Department of Defense as a nonpolitical organization,” he said.
Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta asking for an explanation behind making the exemption in light of the military’s “unambiguous regulations” to preserve its apolitical stance.

During his two terms in office, of an overwhelmingly Democrat state, he vetoed 750 bills and exercised thousands of line item vetos. He was so effective that his opposition referred to him as Governor Veto. He ran for the Republican nomination this year, but he was kept out of the early debates by CNN and CNBC rules, which were created to keep out minor candidates.
As a result, he never attained the status of serious candidate as far as the Main Stream Media was concerned.

We tend to think of “conformity” and “rebellion” as opposite forms of behavior. Yet rebellion and conformity, in their usual form, are actually two sides of the same syndrome. Both are responses to pressure which keep the victim reacting to, and therefore “conforming” to, the pressure source. There is a third way of dealing with pressure that involves neither rebellion nor conformity, which allows a person to fully develop his innate potential, without outside interference.
In a sense, it can be said that rebels, criminals, and the insane are specially bred to provide a horror show that distracts the rest of guilty society from the real horrors of its own condition. There is relief and reassurance in the spectacle of others who are worse off than ourselves. We are fortunate and good by comparison, and as we make them worse still by our cruel and hypocritical “help” and punishment, we use them to reinforce our own rebellious, false sense of worth.

Why ABC Tried to Blame the Tea Party for Aurora
James Holmes is a human earthquake. We are as ill-equipped to predict the eruptions of such human beings as we are to predict the eruptions of the earth.
But that doesn’t mean that nothing meaningful came out of the Aurora tragedy.
Liberalism Drives Men to Madness
The shooting in Aurora, CO dominated the news this weekend, and not just in America. It was world news. The tragedy reminded me of a recurring question people have been pondering for at least a decade: why are so many of these incidents happening now?
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence reports that the United States has experienced an average of around 20 mass shootings each year since 2005.
There was the rampage at Virginia Tech in 2007 that left 32 people dead. Only three days prior to the Aurora shooting, 17 people were injured in Tuscaloosa, Alabama after a gunman opened fire in a downtown bar, and one week before that, three people were killed and two were injured after another rampage erupted during a Dover, Delaware soccer tournament. The Fort Hood massacre occurred in 2009, two years after Virginia Tech, with 13 people losing their lives in that event.
The evidence is pretty clear that we are having far more mass shooting these days than we had in the past. You might want to make the natural jump to guns, as that is what the media will tell us to do. Guns are easy to blame. Relatively easy to get, guns make good culprits. But if people were killing people by driving into crowds with Chevy Volts, I suspect the media would not blame the Volt.
It should come as no surprise that the rise in mass killing sprees in America is in direct proportion to the rise in liberalism in American politics.

As our nation and the families and friends of the victims continue to reel after the horrific mass murder at the midnight screening of the latest Batman movie last Friday in Aurora, Colorado, countless questions abound. As usual, we hear many people seeking someone or something to blame. Is it the influence of violence in Hollywood pictures and outrageously violent video games, godless parenting, godless education and a godless society that produces kids with no moral compass and no regard for human life, or the inordinate, pathological craving for fame by members of our younger generations? These factors, while not what pulled the triggers of the guns, are certainly the symptoms of a terminally ill society. The blame is with the shooter alone, or is he alone?
A shocking report of scary speculation has come from Mike Adams, the “Health Ranger,” and Editor of the Natural News website. His bottom-line question asks if this massacre was a false flag operation by our own federal government just as Fast and Furious was.
Although the kind of speculation in Adams’ piece is ultimately pointless without answers, Adams does have some sound questions and observations. In his column, he notes that the accused shooter, 24-year-old James Holmes, is reportedly a shy, young man who acted completely out of character, according to those who know him.

Missing the Point About Aurora…
Public discussion and debate about the Aurora, Colo., horror has missed the point. With numbing predictability, liberal opinion leaders in the press have focused on gun laws as the potential solution for such atrocities, while conservatives have responded that maniacs will find ways to kill people and therefore, nothing can be done about rampage shootings. Others have speculated that our excessively violent entertainments are tipping borderline types into spasms of real violence.
