Rep. Bachmann’s Concern Over Muslim Brotherhood Connections in Government Grows
Last week, when U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann and four other GOP House members wrote letters suggesting that federal government personnel close to the White House be investigated more closely for Muslim Brotherhood connections, they were severely criticized. The criticism was due to a sentence in one of the letters that mentioned Sec. of State Hillary Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin.
Now, new information has emerged which is being called supportive of the letter-writing politicians’ assertion that there is a need for scrutiny of persons in federal government – including some that are close to the White House. Independent Sentinel reports that Huma Abedin was an Assistant Editor of the “Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs” (IMMA) from 2002 to 2008. She was also on the publication’s board the same time that Abdullah Omar Naseef, who allegedly has strong connections to al-Qaeda via fundraising for the terrorist group, served on the board in 2002 and 2003.
The latest allegations regarding Huma Abedin’s Naseef-connection is giving growing support for Bachmann’s call for an investigation of federal government workers and credence to her refusal to apologize and back down.
