Taking America back -- Have we finally reached the tipping point?

 

Recently, Americans across this nation finally stood in defiance against radical leftists and homosexual baiters to support Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, traditional marriage, and free speech.

Was this an isolated event, or an indication that Americans have finally reached the tipping point where they will actively begin to take America back?

 

 

For decades, Americans have been brainwashed and browbeaten by radical left/progressive/liberal/socialist/elitists, with the end goal of making us behave according to their rules. Children have been taught politically-correctconduct and speech in the indoctrination centers called public schools. Words have been twisted to have different meanings. People of all ages have been shamed into behavior and speech deemed acceptable to radical leftists.

Rules for common courtesy and respect for one another’s beliefs have been changed, while laws have been written making it a crime to have some personal beliefs and to speak-out about them. Yes, freedom of speech has been attacked in a major way — but perhaps Americans are finally fed-up with all the gobble-de-goop leftists have been dishing-out.

 

Multitudes of Americans have been perplexed about the societal changes that have happened since the 1950′s. A majority of us have believed that someone, somehow, and some way would stop the dangerous course our nation seems to be taking. Unfortunately, we entrusted the responsibility of protecting our rights and freedoms to elected officials. And actually, this is the job these folks are supposed to do, at least at the national level — protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. But as we know all too well, we didn’t do enough vetting of candidates for these elected offices. Sadly, we began to think that promises meant more than a person’s character or ideology…
