My understanding of the Cloward-Piven strategy is that in order to get everyone a guaranteed income and “end poverty”, you had to ‘overload” the US public welfaresystem and get as many people as possible on welfare, government handouts and the like.

With record numbers of people in this country getting foodstamps, Section 8 housing, welfare, Social Security disability, free cellphones, etc. it seem that Obama has been successful in implementing Cloward-Piven (along with adding 6T dollars to the national debtand likely bankrupting the country).
