WASHINGTON, Sep 12 (IPS) – In sharp contrast to the lionisation of Gen. David Petraeus by members of the U.S. Congress during his testimony this week, Petraeus’s superior, Admiral William Fallon, chief of the Central Command (CENTCOM), derided Petraeus as a sycophant during their first meeting in Baghdad last March, according to Pentagon sources familiar with reports of the meeting.

The Righties are all over MoveOn for their General Petraeus or General Betray Us? ad. Many righties went so far as to suggest some sort of collusion between the New York Times and MoveOn, suggesting MoveOn got a special discount rate on the ad. My question is, If this story gains traction about Admiral Fallon calling General Petraeus an ass kissing chicken shit, how long before the right swift boats Admiral Fallon?
