Today, November 17, 2012, Harris Faulkner, news anchor of “Fox Report Weekend,” reported in the “this day in history” segment that the Articles of Confederation of November 15, 1777 were sent out to the thirteen States for ratification on this day and the Articles of Confederation were later duly ratified. Faulkner erroneously reported that the Confederacy was replaced in 1789 by the Constitution.

 

Why has Fox News blindly taken the biased position of the government, when a little honest investigative reporting would have uncovered the truth? The Articles of Confederation were not replaced by the Constitution of the United States. Today, the Confederacy consists of 50 States which have retained their “sovereignty, freedom and independence and there is a commercial Union of 56 or 57 dependent federal States, depending on who is counting, because the Constitution of September 17, 1787 has never been adopted by a government bound by oath to support that Constitution
