I feel a tremendous responsibility to write this article though I am a little apprehensive. Thinking about the possibility of rising up against our own government is a frightening thing for many of us. I am not Johnny Rambo and I will be the first to admit that I do not want to die. The reason I feel compelled to write this, however, is simply because I don’t think the average American is equipped with the facts. I feel that a lot of American citizens feel like they have no choice but to surrender their guns if the government comes for them. I blame traditional media sources for this mass brainwash and I carry the responsibility of all small independent bloggers to tell the truth. So my focus today is to lay out your constitutional rights as an American, and let you decide what to do with those rights.

Traveling to New York to appear on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Jones had already showed his ID as he approached the metal detector.

The retirement of Congressman Ron Paul from the House of Representatives last week did not end the Texas libertarian’s influence in Congress. And if the first week of the new Congress is any indication, his influence has only multiplied.
Congressman Paul’s battles to audit and ultimately abolish the Federal Reserve Bank have been picked up by his former colleague Paul Broun of Georgia, who scored 92 percent on The New American‘s “Freedom Index” in the last Congress.
“I applaud Congressman Paul’s efforts. He was fighting for liberty,” Broun told The Hill newspaper, which covers Congress from Washington, D.C. The story, entitled “Georgia’s Broun keeps Ron Paul’s anti-Fed mission alive in new Congress,” details how Broun — like former Congressman Paul, a medical doctor — has continued the anti-Fed mantra of Ron Paul. “My plan is to pick up right where Congressman Paul left off,” Broun said on his congressional website, “I’m just going to stand on his shoulders and go forward in that same fight.”

Once cowed at the thought of provoking 2nd Amendment supporters, leftists will soon attempt to ban “assault weapons” (and much more) as legislation offered by Diane Feinstein makes its way to the Senate floor. It seems that DC liberals have finally become convinced that American gun owners are too cowardly, too lazy or too dependent upon the generosity of Big Brother to fight for their 2nd Amendment rights.
During the past 4 years, the gun banning left have watched as American buyers broke sales records in the purchase of semi-automatic rifles. Opting for these and other powerful, efficient weapons it is estimated that some 100 million private citizens are now in possession of over 300 million firearms. The best part of political theater, otherwise known as the ‘ah ha’ moment for truth seekers, can often be found when the show ends. In this epic tragedy, called the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Hearing: Benghazi: The Attack and the Lesson Learned, held on December 20, 2012, starring Senator John Kerry (D-Mass), as the Chairman, it happened right after Kerry’s dramatic closing statement concluded. The lights dimmed, the press started packing up their gear, the stars/senators, in crisp suits, with their shine-free faces courtesy of heavy pancake make-up, exited stage left. It was a quick moment but a telling one. Did you catch it?
