Only my Students know how easy it would be to impeach Barack Hussein Obama, if the impeachment is limited to the office of President of the United States. The only condition imposed by the Constitution of the United States on such an impeachment is found in Article I Section 3 Clause 6: “The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments.

When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.”Why are there no other constitutional conditions placed on the impeachment of the President of the United States?

 

The office of President of the United States is the highest employee in the federal government, who like the chief executive officer of a corporation, must be fired according to certain written rules.

 

 

The President of the United States of America, the head of State of the United States of America, according to the Constitution of the United States, may only be impeached pursuant to Article II Section 4: “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

 

 

 

 

Not only does the Constitution provide for the easy impeachment of the President of the United States it is proof the two offices were intended to be separate……….
