White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today refused to confirm that a letter posted by the Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu purportedly from President Obama claiming the facility as his birthplace is, in fact, real.

The issue arose today when Les Kinsolving, WND’s correspondent at the White House, asked Gibbs about the letter, which the hospital also used in a magazine fundraising article.

However, when WND reported on the posted images and questioned their authenticity, the hospital concealed the online image, and then refused to confirm the letter even exists.

Gibbs’ answer came in response to Kinsolving’s question, which begins at the 55:27 mark into the video recorded by C-SPAN:

While you and the president were overseas on July the 7th, there was on the Internet a copy of a letter on White House letterhead dated January the 24th, 2009, with the signature “Barack Obama,” which stated, “The place of my birth was Honolulu’s Kapi’olani Medical Center.” And my question is, can you verify this letter? Or if not, would you tell us which Hawaiian hospital he was born in, since Kapi’olani, which used to publicize this, now refuses to confirm?

The hospital and White House now refuse to confirm that a real document even exists. Gibbs said, without responding directly to the question about the veracity of the letter, “Goodness gracious. I’m going to be, like, in year four describing where it is the president was born. I don’t have the letter at my fingertips, obviously, and I don’t know the name of the exact hospital.” Join the petition campaign to make President Obama reveal his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate! When Kinsolving asked when Gibbs could check, he responded. “I will seek to interview whoever brought the president into this world. But can we just – I want to do this once and for all, Lester. Let’s just do this once and for all. You can go on this – I hope you’ll take the time not just to Google ‘President, January 24, Hawaii hospital, birth’ and come up with this letter, but go on the Internet and get the birth certificate, Lester, and put…” When Kinsolving pointed out the image posted on various website’s was not a birth certificate or a certificate of live birth, but a different “Certification of Live Birth” document, Gibbs said, “I know. Just a document from the state of Hawaii denoting the fact that the president was indeed born in the state of Hawaii.” But under Hawaiian law at the time of the president’s birth, such documents were available for babies not even born in Hawaii. Obama states in the purported letter that he was born at Kapi’olani. The letter was posted by the medical center for nearly six months on its website before being electronically hidden once WND publicized it. Now the hospital refuses to confirm that a real document even exists. But a similar – although not identical – image purporting also to be a letter from Obama claiming Kapi’olani as his birth place appeared in the hospital’s Inspire Magazine: Then Gibbs, amidst a repeating chorus of guffaws and giggles from the White House press corps, started lecturing the WND correspondent, who is among a handful of the most senior correspondents on the White House assignment, about journalism. “You know, Lester, I – I want to stay on this for a second, Lester, I want to stay on this for a second, because you’re a smart man, right?” said Gibbs. “Hypothetical,” said an unidentified reporter. “All right, all right, settle down in here. Only I get to make jokes like that,” said Gibbs. “Lester, let’s finish this one. Do all of your listeners and the listeners throughout this country the service to which any journalist owes those listeners, and that is the pursuit of the noble truth. And the noble truth is that the president was born in Hawaii, a state of the United States of America. And all of this incredible back-and-forth – I get e-mails today from people who inexplicably can figure out very easily the White House e-mail address, and want proof of where the president was born,” Gibbs said. “Lester, the next time you ask me a question I’m going to ask you what reporting you’ve done to demonstrate to your listeners the truth, the certificate, the state, so that they can look to you for that momentous search for the truth, and you can wipe away all the dark clouds and provide them with the knowing clarity that comes with that certainty,” Gibbs said. However, WND has reported that a wide range of Obama documentation – along with Obama’s birth certificate – are not available, including Obama’s kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records. WND has reported that just within the last week, at least two reports have cited Obama’s birth in Kenya. Wikipedia also was found to have been reporting on Obama’s birth in Kenya, before a series of scrubs placed his birth in Honolulu. And that came on the heels of several online information sites changing the president’s supposed birthplace from one hospital in Hawaii to another, after WND broke the news of the letter said to be from the White House. When WND exposed doubts about the authenticity of the letter because it was created with HTML computer code, the hospital which for nearly six months proudly declared Obama was born at its facility and used that claim as a major fund-raising tool commenced an active cover-up, hiding that White House letter from its original webpage and refusing to confirm such a letter actually exists. WND has yet to be able to identify any physician or medical attendant present at Kapi’olani Hospital in 1961 who can recall Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother, giving birth to Barack Obama at the hospital or who can identify the name of the attending physician. The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.” Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama’s American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time. (Story continues below) Other challenges have focused on Obama’s citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born. Complicating the situation is Obama’s decision to spend sums estimated in the hundreds of thousands of dollars to avoid releasing a state birth certificate that would put to rest all of the questions. Among the cases have been several from Democrat Philip Berg, who has alleged that not only is Obama ineligible to be president, he was unqualified to be the senator from Illinois and should be prosecuted under the False Claims Act. Armed revolution isn’t obsolete, even in an era when the weapons systems available to the government are overwhelmingly destructive.

Highly destructive weapons systems, if used in cities, kill so many innocents that such actions turn people against the government. Think about what happened at Waco in 1993 and the part it played in the Democratic loss of Congress (and, unfortunately, in provoking Timothy McVeigh). There’s a limit to how much firepower you can unleash without destroying your government’s own base of support.

There’s another reason that armed revolution is still not only feasible, but sometimes actually necessary to overthrow a tyrannical government. ..

The camera looks forward through the windshield of a police car in Austin, Texas, recording a traffic bust. We see the back of Cpl. Thomas O’Connor as he strides forward on the driver side of the sedan he just stopped on South Mopac Expressway. O’Connor speaks hurriedly. He sounds angry as he identifies himself by name and department and finishes the sentence with a demand for a driver’s license and proof of insurance. Five seconds have elapsed since he left the patrol car.

California attorney Orly Taitz, who has pursued multiple legal challenges to Barack Obama’s eligibility to be the president, is attracting some high-level attention, with the Justice Department trying to add itself onto one of her cases and the legal counsel for the Joint Chiefs of Staff being assigned to review another issue.

Taitz has filed multiple legal actions around the country alleging Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to occupy the Oval Office. One of her cases, filed against Obama as an individual for actions before he took office, is scheduled for a hearing in a California court on Monday.

The hearing is on a request by Taitz for a default judgment, since she explains she notified the president of the action weeks ago, and his lawyers failed to respond.

In an astonishing admission, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says she was under the impression that legalizing abortion with the 1973 Roe. v. Wade case would eliminate undesirable members of the populace, or as she put it “populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”

Question: Are you talking about the distances women have to travel because in parts of the country, abortion is essentially unavailable, because there are so few doctors and clinics that do the procedure? And also, the lack of Medicaid for abortions for poor women?

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. – In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group Americans for Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Retired Marine Capt. Rick Duncan carried a list of phone numbers of those in the business of helping veterans. One was for the VA clinic in! Colorado Springs, and in 2008 he pressed it upon Mike Flaherty, a young Army veteran struggling with depression.

He understood, Duncan told Flaherty. He’d been to Iraq three times. Attacked in Fallouja, he’d returned home with a metal plate in his head and a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Flaherty made the call and saw a counselor; in time his depression lessened. He had his friend Rick Duncan to thank.

He would not learn the truth about Duncan for a year, and when he and other veterans did, it rolled over them with the weight of a tank: Rick Duncan had never served in Iraq, had never been wounded, had never been a Marine at all. He wasn’t even Rick Duncan.

Back in May we wrote about a lawsuit questioning whether or not a blogger could use journalism shield laws to protect a source who sent her info she used for a blog post. The company the info was about is suing her for slander (which is odd, since slander is usually spoken, while libel is written). The woman, Shellee Hale tried to claim that she was protected under New Jersey’s shield law, which allows a journalist to protect sources. In writing about this case originally, we pointed out that the judge in question clearly did not know much about the internet, and via his questions seemed positively perplexed that anyone would blog at all: “Why would a guy put all this stuff on a blog? Does he have nothing better to do?”

Nobody ever knows exactly how many people die in wars, but it’s likely that 25,000 to 50,000 people died in this one. So let’s take the lower figure-25,000 people died out of a population of three million. That would be equivalent today to two and a half million people dying to get England off our backs.

You might consider that worth it, or you might not.

Canada is independent of England, isn’t it? I think so. Not a bad society. Canadians have good health care. They have a lot of things we don’t have. They didn’t fight a bloody revolutionary war. Why do we assume that we had to fight a bloody revolutionary war to get rid of England?

In the year before those famous shots were fired, farmers in Western Massachusetts had driven the British government out without firing a single shot. They had assembled by the thousands and thousands around courthouses and colonial offices and they had just taken over and they said goodbye to the British officials. It was a nonviolent revolution that took place. But then came Lexington and Concord, and the revolution became violent, and it was run not by the farmers but by the Founding Fathers. The farmers were rather poor; the Founding Fathers were rather rich.

Who actually gained from that victory over England? It’s very important to ask about any policy, and especially about war: Who gained what? And it’s very important to notice differences among the various parts of the population. That’s one thing were not accustomed to in this country because we don’t think in class terms. We think, “Oh, we all have the same interests.” For instance, we think that we all had the same interests in independence from England. We did not have all the same interests.

This past Independence Day weekend, my friend, LCDR (Retired) Guy Cunningham, delivered an outstanding address here in Pensacola, Florida, in which he said that America is now in “The Age of Perfidy.” He went on to say that our country is soon to enter “The Age of Despotism.” I candidly confess that I believe the retired Naval officer could be more right than we might want to admit.

Commander Cunningham is no slouch. He was a Green Beret (who served in the same Special Forces company alongside his father and two brothers), an infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division, Navy pilot, mission commander and analyst. He is also the author of the now-famous 29 Palms Survey. His military credentials are unassailable. When Commander Cunningham speaks, people should listen.

Commander Cunningham revealed tremendous insight into the stranglehold that the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) holds over the U.S. military by estimating that “75% of military admirals and generals with two stars or more have been trained by the CFR.” He also came to the defense of Michael New, who rightly honored his oath to the Constitution by refusing to submit to the authority, uniform, and military commanders of the United Nations when ordered to do so by his superior officers.

Speaking of the UN, Commander Cunningham rightly assessed the international body to be a sinister organization that threatened the sovereignty and independence of the United States, and from which the US needed to withdraw. He also boldly stated that any and all treaties made with the UN should be immediately annulled.

Commander Cunningham also highlighted the results of his 29 Palms Survey (conducted in 1994), in which more than 20% of those combat-trained Marines surveyed stated that they would fire upon American citizens in order to confiscate their firearms if ordered to do so and, if required, would swear allegiance to the United Nations. Cunningham said he feared that if those same questions were asked of our Marines today, the percentage would be even higher.

It was Commander Cunningham’s statement that the United States is on the verge of despotism, however, that really grabbed my attention. If anyone should know the ins and outs of the science of freedom and oppression, it is Commander Cunningham. His research and analysis of history, both American and military, gives him a keen insight into the subject.

In supporting his ominous conclusion, Cunningham noted former President Bill Clinton’s introduction of PDD 25 (a Presidential Directive that is still in place), which reportedly authorizes the President to use and declare martial law at any time, for any reason. He reminded us of how the US military has been used several times for action on US soil…

I’ll never see the light flicker off her glasses again, or hear her chirpy voice, or watch her bouncy hair blow in the wind like she was the smart Charlie’s Angel.

So let me get this straight: Sarah Palin resigned but Mark Sanford is staying put, Al Franken is Senator and Jesse Jackson’s still not in jail?

It’s all a mystery to me, but you know women: who can understand what they do, anyhow? Not even THEY know!

Maybe it was just that time of the month, and Sarah will change her mind!

I doubt it, though. When she quit, some turd at the Gas Huffing Post made jokes about her baby. Sarah just got tired of being made fun of, I guess. Although I don’t get why…

Heinl, Jr., author of the “definitive history of the Marine Corps,” published in Armed Forces Journal in 1971. The U.S. military in Vietnam was at that moment at the edge of chaos. As Colonel Heinl put it, it was experiencing “widespread conditions… that have only been exceeded in this century by the French Army’s Nivelle mutinies of 1917 and the collapse of the Tsarist armies [of Russia] in 1916 and 1917.” In fact, statistics flowing back to Washington about the American war machine in Vietnam then pointed toward an unimaginable nightmare. Drug use was rampant; desertions stood at 70 per thousand, a modern high; small-scale mutinies or “combat refusals” were at critical, if untabulated, levels; incidents of racial conflict had soared; and strife between “lifers” and draftees was at unprecedented levels. Would you be surprised then to discover that nowhere does the Bible say that either Jesus Christ or his Heavenly Father are the real rulers of this world. On the contrary, the scriptures record Jesus as having said: “The ruler of this world will be cast out.” And he added: “The ruler of the world is coming, and he has no hold on me.”-John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11.

Discovering The Truth:

Those of you who do not consider the Holy Scriptures (or the Koran for that matter) as being the word of God, may be wondering where all of this is leading. But I ask you to bear with me. Contrary to what many who read my articles believe, I am not in any shape or form one who simply accepts all the Biblical accounts without question. Perhaps life might be easier if I did, but that’s another story. Even two years ago, if not a confirmed Atheist, I was at the very least highly sceptical about all religion and like many these days raised in the Christian faith, of that belief system particularly.

The long hours. The blistering heat. And, of course, constantly having to come up with new ways of haassing the Missouri National Guardsmen training in the area. Such was the case for several members of the headquarters detachment of the 229th Multifunctional Medical Battalion. During the battalion’s annual training exercise, eight members of the Jefferson City-based unit, acting as a fictitious militant group, attempted to disrupt the battalion’s operations through attacks and harassment. The battalion’s other two units, the Kansas City-based 205th Area Support Medical Company, and the Springfieldbased 206th Area Support Medical Company, fended off the attacks while performing their medical duties. sGenerally, the “militants” came in groups of two to four, said Capt. Joseph Schmitz, a member of the insurgent group. Because the training exercise was geared more toward the units’ medical duties, the attacks were rarely intense, and the militants gave up easily. “If they shot at us at all, we were pretty happy with that,” he said. Simulating an insurgent group involves a fair amount of acting. During a late-night scenario, Schmitz played a local townsperson with a minor shoulder injury. This oligarchy has institutionalized a body of law that protects businesses at the expense of not only the common people but the nation itself. CNN interviewed a person recently who was seriously burned when his vehicle burst into flames because a plastic brake-fluid reservoir ruptured. Having sued Chrysler, he was now concerned that its bankruptcy filing would enable Chrysler to avoid paying any damages. A CNN legal expert called this highly likely, since the main goal of reorganization in bankruptcy is preserving the company’s viability and that those creditors who could contribute most to attaining that goal would be compensated first while those involved in civil suits against the company would be placed lowest on the creditor list since compensating them would lessen the chances of the company’s surviving. This rational clearly implies that the preservation of companies is more important than the preservation of people. Of course, similar cases have been reported before. The claims of workers for unpaid wages have often been dismissed as have their contracts for benefits.

Democrat Philip Berg has posted a critique of the government’s request online, explaining it is a conflict of interest for Obama appointees to be demanding dismissal of a case questioning the president. It comes in a case, on which WND has reported in the past, that was put under seal by a federal judge and only became public recently when the judge dismissed it and Berg decided to pursue an appeal. The action cited the False Claims Act and accused Obama of defrauding the United States Treasury “by illegally being a U.S. senator from Illinois as Obama is an Illegal Alien, not a U.S. Citizen,” Berg’s website said. Berg filed the action against Obama and after months of delay Attorney General Eric Holder’s staff confirmed its decision not to pursue an investigation. (Story continues below) The dismissal came from recently a federal judge in Washington. “A False Claims Act [FCA] case is when a person has knowledge that another party has obtained money from the government based on a false claim,” Berg’s website explained. “In this instance, in order to be a United States senator, you must be a United States citizen for nine [9] years. Obama is not a United States citizen and therefore, usurped the office of U.S. senator for Illinois and obtained payment from the U.S. Department of the Treasury based on his false statements that he was a U.S. citizen and constitutionally eligible to serve the position of United States senator.” Where’s the proof Barack Obama was born in the U.S. or that he fulfills the “natural-born American” clause in the Constitution? At this point there is much speculation about why Sarah Palin abruptly announced her impending resignation from Alaska’s governorship. Her critics are already calling her “erratic” but she is consistent in one respect: she cares little for the established ways of doing things when she thinks she has a better course of action.

The conventional wisdom holds that you bury news when it is announced at 4 PM on Friday of a holiday weekend. But the comparative news vacuum seems to be only amplifying the echoes reverberating through the political world. Dear Governor Palin,

You’re blowing it.

We haven’t met, but you might remember I was one of the first columnists to tout you for John McCain’s running mate. I cheered you mightily when Senator McCain selected you, and I still believe that you were the smartest choice he could have made given the obstacles before him. I’m also assuming you want to run for president some day.

There’s a reason why the Left and much of the media establishment hated you from day one. Some hated you out of the fear that you might stop Barack Obama’s unfolding coronation. Others because you seemed to expose the snobbery, arrogance, and ideological pieties of elite feminism. Your beauty, your status as a working mom, your blue-collar husband, your bravery in taking on the political establishment in Alaska, your proud status as a pro-lifer and mother of a special-needs child: All of these things were — and are — deeply threatening to a secular left-wing cultural elite.

All of this was an incredible compliment. Powerful people don’t fear the powerless. Remember how Mike Huckabee borrowed that Air Force maxim when he got grief during the primaries? “If you’re not taking flak, you’re not over the target.” Well, you were over the target.

But not anymore. Oh, you’re still taking flak, but not because you strike fear in the hearts of Democrats. You’re taking flak because you’re striking fear in the hearts of Republicans. For Democrats, fairly or not, you’ve become a laughingstock. And for some of McCain’s campaign managers, you’ve become a convenient excuse for their failures.

But while McCain’s strategists do not cover themselves in glory for scapegoating you, you are not without blame either. You do seem to think the best advice is for you to stay just the way you are. Leaders listen to the advice they don’t necessarily want to hear.

For starters, every time I see you on TV, you’re whining about unfair press coverage. Don’t get me wrong: Much of it is unfair, and some of it deserves a response. But it’s not presidential. It’s not even gubernatorial. You are constantly taking the bait, taking up the fights your biggest fans want you to take up.

I was walking home a few weeks ago when two young men, one with a knife in his hand, blocked the sidewalk and demanded my wallet and camera. I’m accustomed to having a means of defense other than my fist and an umbrella at hand. I’ve been in Washington, D.C. for three months and had almost gotten used to not having a weapon handy. At home in Arizona, I regularly, and legally, carry a concealed pistol and reluctantly left my guns at home and trusted on instincts and awareness to stay out of trouble.

The hoodlum who tried to rob me was unprepared for resistance and expected compliance to his demands because thugs know that the District of Columbia’s firearm laws and security measures punish law-abiding people who might otherwise carry a defensive weapon. My umbrella didn’t survive the confrontation, but I left the scene with my wallet, camera and the punk’s knife, a cheap piece of junk that is now in a storm sewer.

A seller claiming to have a certified copy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate issued in a Mombasa, Kenya, hospital in 1961 is back up on eBay telling her story. Six previous times the posts have been removed.

Even when the seller offered only autographed pictures of those allegedly responsible for securing the document, the posts have been removed.

The seller now insists a YouTube video will be produced, presumably including images of the document. Then, the seller says, the full story will be given to WND.

Okay, we have to cut the Bamster some slack here because these words were spoken at a press conference and Obama did not have the benefit of his trusty teleprompter to help him out. It’s not exactly clear that what transpired in the Central American country was a coup although the US president seems to assume that it was. Let’s give him that one and assume that it was in fact a coup. What he said was nonsensical; a coup by definition is illegal. The word “coup” is defined as the overthrow of a government by force or illegal means. If what happened in Honduras wasn’t illegal, it wouldn’t have been a coup – it would have been a legal transfer of power. And to think that there are rumors circulating that Obama has a law degree.

It is clear by Obama’s actions, (forget his words and positioning) that he sympathizes with dictatorships, Islamic regimes and tyrants over “the people” “freedom” and “rights.” How can we avoid the news about the ouster of of the Honduran leader Manual Zelaya, that is in between the endless Michael Jackson news?  Obama and the UN have stood behind Zelaya’s return.  Never mind that he was thrown out after he challenged his country’s very constitution.  The Supreme Court, Congress and the military viewed his efforts at planning a ballot to manipulate change in the constitution as illegal.

They haven’t found the culprits yet who burned the U.S. and military flags of a former Marine in north Dallas this week.

But support and offers to replace the flags have poured in.

Avi Selk of the Dallas Morning News has the follow-up:

Our little story about a few front-porch flags that got burned in Far North Dallas has sparked a firestorm of attention since it ran on Tuesday.

The story, which my editor discovered from a single line in an obscure police report, (”UNK SUSP BURNED USA FLAG MOUNTED IN FRONT OF COMP RESIDENCE”) has also grabbed the attention of nearly every TV station in Dallas and the Associated Press. It’s also made the rounds on Twitter and caught the eye of conservative blogger Michelle Malkin.

Source: The Smoking Argus HOUSTON, TEXAS – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF) agents are in the midst of  fanning out across Texas in order to conduct house by house investigations into what the agency deems numerous  “suspicious” firearms transactions and as a means to combat “narco-terrorism” along the U.S. /Mexican border. In fact, the “suspicious” transaction searches are so loosely defined, that BATF agents ended up questioning a Houston area pastor who previously purchased two handguns for target practice, which is then flippantly chalked up as “hard to believe”. Additionally, interagency cooperation between the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the BATF have led to  warrantless airplane surveillance of vehicles along the border. After speaking to five offices within the agencies and being told by several agents they felt “uncomfortable” with my line of questioning, Special Agent, Public Information Officer Perot of the BATF, indicated that aerial surveillance does not require a warrant due to it taking place with the “public sphere” thereby meaning individuals should have no expectation of privacy…

Today’s evidence: a visit from Orly Taitz , the California dentist/lawyer (and black belt in Tae Kwon Do!) who’s filed lawsuits disputing President Barack Obama’s citizenship.

Taitz spoke to a crowd of about 40 at a hotel here this afternoon, and in a little over an hour threw a kitchen sink’s worth of accusations at the president.

To wit: Obama has failed to produce a true copy of his Hawaii birth certificate; the birth documentation he has produced may be a forgery; Obama may have forged his selective service documents; he may have as many as 25 social security numbers; one of those numbers may have originated in Connecticut and indicates he’s over 100 years old; he may have enrolled at Occidental College as a foreign exchange student; he may be guilty of wire fraud, social security fraud, mail fraud and other unspecified fraudulent acts related to his presidential campaign and various charitable organizations; and he may have held closed-door meetings with the U.S. Supreme Court in which he intimidated them into rejecting any cases challenging his citizenship.

The eBay auction seller who has tried multiple times to sell an allegedly genuine copy of Barack Obama’s ‘birth certificate’ from Mombasa, Kenya, now is offering for sale a photograph of several individuals who reportedly contributed to the strategy through which the still-unproven documented was obtained.

And the seller, identified as “colmado_naranja,” who claims to have obtained the document while traveling Africa, suggested more information will be revealed on a YouTube video that is planned.

“My user name is InspectorSmith. I’ve had the account for some time. I have never uploaded anything. … So this will be the first time that I’ve ever uploaded anything. So you’ll get your document yet, up close and personal,” the seller wrote on the latest eBay posting.

You have to wonder if Obama is just trying to lay a foundation for not being a hypocrite when he tries to serve beyond 2016. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if in the next number of years there is a move on the 22nd Amendment, which term limits the President of the United States. He may not do it that way, he may not openly try to change the Constitution. But there might be this movement in the country from his cult-like followers to support the notion that a democratically-elected leader who is loved and adored has carte blanc once elected. Just serve as long as he wants because the people demand it, because the people want it, because the people love it.

AR15s have literally flown off of dealer shelves, and only now in the spring of 2009, have I seen the display samples of ARs begin to reappear on the wall of my favorite shooting emporium after the initial post election rush.

What might the phrase “natural-born citizen” of the United States imply under the U.S. Constitution? The phrase has always been obscure due to the lack of any single authoritative source to confer in order to understand the condition of citizenship the phrase recognizes. Learning what the phrase might have meant following the Declaration of Independence, and the adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment, requires detective work. As with all detective work, eliminating the usual suspects from the beginning goes a long way in quickly solving a case.

Barack Obama wrote his senior thesis at Columbia University on Soviet nuclear disarmament. Inquiring people have sought a copy of this thesis to no avail. Columbia says it cannot be found; Barack Obama says he lost it.

How likely is that a person so impressed with himself that he writes an autobiography just a few years later would “lose” his senior thesis? After all, a Presidential Library must be filled. And as Jim Geraghty at National Review and others have noted there are a lot of blank spots — missing records and the like — having to do with Barack Obama.

But one question remains. If Barack Obama devoted a year researching and writing about Soviet nuclear disarmament, how could he fail to get the facts down about the Kennedy-Khrushchev meeting in Vienna?

A California lawyer seeking a default judgment against Barack Obama in her case challenging his eligibility to hold the office of president is trying multiple ways to notify him of the action, in light of a judge’s order to do everything possible to assure that notification.

The judge has scheduled a hearing July 13 in a case brought by plaintiffs’ attorney Orly Taitz, who believes the commander-in-chief is in default.

Taitz has told WND if her motion is granted she will immediately request access to Obama’s birth records and other documentation that could determine his eligibility to occupy the Oval Office.

Now Taitz told WND she is trying a number of different methods to notify the president following the ruling from U.S. District Judge David O. Carter, who said: “Before the court is a motion by plaintiffs for reconsideration of order to show cause or in the alternative to certify question for appeal. Court sets this matter for hearing on July 13, 2009 at 8:30a.m. in Courtroom 9D. Plaintiffs are directed to make every effort possible to ensure that all remaining defendants are aware of the hearing and provide documentation that the individual receiving service is authorized to accept on defendants’ behalf.”

Is President Obama’s birthplace, wherever it is, destined to lie unrepaired and unrecognized in perpetuity? If the phalanxes of lawyers currently fighting a number of lawsuits seeking to open up detailed information about the president’s origins succeed that’s a distinct possibility, since the ordinary National Park Service recognition of presidents’ birthplaces does not even begin unless members of Congress or a president seek the distinction.

That’s according to Kathy Kupper, a spokeswoman for the National Park Service, who was interviewed on the subject by Greg Corombos of RadioAmerica/WND.

“All 391 National Park Service sites are designated either by the president or by Congress. So it always is initiated by one of those entities,” Kupper said.

Right now, she said, work is being done on recognition of the birthplaces for both Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

The park service publicizes and profiles its sites, including presidential birth locations, both online and in published form. The sites are considered a part of the heritage of the United States.

Kupper confirmed that not every president so far has a National Park Service site, but many do, and the entire process hinges on instructions either from Congress or a president to begin work.

Under the law, presidents can declare national monuments, which sets sites aside just as national parks, which are set up by Congress.

But without that affirmative order, no site work is begun, she said.

The question then remains, would Obama, after spending considerable sums keeping secret his birth certificate and other personal documents, suddenly decide to announce a birth location to obtain public recognition.

The location of Obama’s birthplace is central to many of the legal challenges that have been brought alleging he does not meet constitutional requirements to be president.

Why can’t we find a grown man who will put responsibility to country, wife and family above the allure of sex?

Arrested development is widespread. It is caused by a secular religion which takes sex and romance to be real love and spiritual fulfillment.

Gov. Mark Sanford, 49, a Christian Conservative, didn’t spend Father’s Day with his four sons. He flew off to Buenos Aires to be with his mistress Maria, 43, starting a two-week trial separation from his wife of 20 years, Jenny, 47.

By “listening to his heart” Sanford betrayed both his family and his nation. Like Eliot Spitzer, he was considered a front-runner for the GOP Presidential nomination in 2012. Like Spitzer, Mark Sanford has damaged his career at a time when America is sorely in need of honest, competent leadership.

The policy is guaranteed to fail when proposed energy alternatives cannot fulfill needs and will cause economic slowdown, decreased competitiveness and further economic decay.

On June 26, the US House of Representatives passed a Bill titled the American Clean Energy and Security Act by a scant 219 to 212 votes. The title is misleading. It appeals to patriotism, which Samuel Johnson said is the last refuge of a scoundrel. “Clean Energy” really means without producing CO2, which incorrectly assumes it is a pollutant. Security means eliminating imported energy, but the nation is less secure with a weakened economy guaranteed under provisions of the Bill. It is more commonly, but equally incorrectly, called the Carbon Cap and Trade Bill. Carbon is not CO2 but this is only one of the deceptions. Hopefully, enough Senators will understand and reject the Bill when they vote in the fall.
