Jim R. Schwiesow — That Horse is Already Dead
THAT HORSE IS DEAD
…..I continue to hear the interminable and irksome braying that the nation will be saved by men from a rapidly approaching collapse and that the Constitution will be restored to the state of being created by the founding fathers.
English: Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth President of the United States. Latviešu: Abrahams Linkolns, sešpadsmitais ASV prezidents. Српски / Srpski: Абрахам Линколн, шеснаести председник Сједињених Америчких Држава. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
I am pounded with this wearisome babble every minute of every day and it grates on the nerves like a screech of nails across a blackboard.
People that horse is already dead and has been for a century and a half; the Constitution was spiked through the heart by the uncompromising Hamiltonian enemies of federalism, interred by Abraham Lincoln amid the killing grounds of the civil war, and settled in the grave by the dirt poured upon it by a long succession of dimwitted political centralists. You are now, and always have been, subject to totalitarian control.
THE KILLING OF THE CONSTITUTION
If you do not know James Madison as the father of the U.S. Constitution you should…at the birth of the nation it was his conceptions in regard to an ascendency of personal liberties and a sovereignty of the people that prevailed against all arguments for a monarchy or a totalitarian central government. No one had a greater role in shaping American Constitutional theory and in framing the particulars of representative government than James Madison.
(“When Honest Abe Lincoln used the armed forces to punish people for separating from his rule, that reversed the independence achieved by the earlier Revolutionaries. The idea of self-determination had been stomped by the boot of federal government authority”) Authoritarianism or Self-Determination by Scott Lazarowitz
Well, another “Independence” Day has come and gone. Yet, each year that goes by, we have less independence and less freedom to direct and control our own lives and destinies.
Just what happened to the passion for self-determination of the Revolutionaries who seceded from the dictatorial King George’s rule?
Private Property and the American Heritage by Thomas J. DiLorenzo
The Confederate battle flag has become a worldwide symbol of opposition to state tyranny. It has been flown in the former Soviet republics and in many other places where there are opposition movements to centralized stateoppression.
That is why self-described communists like Vanderbilt University Professor Jonathan Farley are so opposed to it to the point of hysteria.
GUNNY G: THE TRUTH ABOUT SEMPER FI !!!!! !!!!!
What does Semper Fi mean?
Is it just an abbreviation for Semper Fidelis?
Where did it come from?
When?
How?
Why?
A Little Clue:
It’s sorta like the old “Sorry Bout Dat” that the hippies used to be so fond of using back in the sixties! Some of you old timers will remember that…and, like semper fi, it caught on and is again being used by, perhaps, millions of unknowing folks out there across the land.

MILLER: SWAT rampage destroys Iraq vet’s home over guns(DC)
While Army Sgt. Matthew Corrigan was sound asleep inside his Northwest D.C. home, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was preparing to launch a full-scale invasion of his home. SWAT and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams spent four hours readying the assault on the English basement apartment in the middle of the snowstorm of the century.
WHO ARE THE “WE THE PEOPLE” IN THE CONSTITUTION PREAMBLE? ~ EDRIVERA.COM « CITIZEN.BLOGGER.1984+ GUNNY.G BLOG.EMAIL
The true meaning of the Preamble is the secret of the Constitutional Convention. Everyone reads himself or herself into that Preamble, however, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention are the “We the People of the United States.”

(“Well, the marines do not belong to the navy, contrary to what many people think. “) Marines: The USNs Neo-Marines
Why not continue just using marines for this? Well, the marines do not belong to the navy, contrary to what many people think. Both the navy and marines are part of the Department of the Navy (the Department of the Army and Department of the Air Force each have only one component.) The marines used to be part of the navy, but over the years, the marines obtained more and more autonomy. They are now, for all practical purposes, a separate service.

(“Imagine 80 MPG? Don’t…government will never allow such a drastic reduction in its tax-haul, says Eric Peters.”) Is the Government Really Concerned About ‘Gas Mileage’? by Eric Peters
Recently by Eric Peters: The Truth About New Technology X
There is a big problem with high-mileage cars – from the point-of-view of the government.
Less revenue.
Imagine an 80 MPG car – which could be built right now, easily, with existing technology. (Several current European models are already pretty close to the 80 MPG bar.)
Such a car could cut the average person’s fuel costs by two-thirds – in effect, putting things back the way they were circa 1986, when gasoline still cost about $1 per gallon. It would do a great deal to ease the economic pressure bearing down on the average person. But if tens of millions of Americans were suddenly using two-thirds less fuel, they’d also be paying two-thirds less in motor fuels taxes.
You don’t have to be a conspiracy nut to wonder what effect contemplation of this possibility has had on government policy.
ALAN STANG: REPUBLICAN PARTY, RED FROM THE START by Alan Stang « CITIZEN.BLOGGER.1984+ GUNNY.G BLOG.EMAIL
Many patriots these days lament that the Republican Party has “lost its way” and “gone wrong.” It has “diverged” from the fiscally responsible, small government philosophy of Republican heroes like Robert Taft whom Eisenhower’s handlers finagled out of the nomination for President in 1952.
- Abraham Lincoln, Republican candidate for the presidency, 1860 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
We are told that is why today’s Republican Establishment hates Dr. Ron Paul with such a passion; that they hate him because, like Taft, he is the quintessential Republican. Patriots who say that are mistaken, of course. The reason the Republican Establishment hates Dr. Paul is precisely that he is not a traditional, mainstream Republican, that his platform of freedom is an aberration. The Republican Party didn’t “go wrong,” didn’t “go left.”
It has been wrong from the beginning, from the day it was founded. From the beginning, the Republican Party has worked without deviation for bigger, more imperial government, for higher taxes, for more wars, for more totalitarianism. From the beginning, the Republican Party has been Red.
Debate Is Taboo on the Great Centralizer, Lincoln…
Lies and name-calling are preferred tactics of the Lincoln “scholars” cultistsI found out the hard way that Lincoln scholars read, apologists for ever-increasing political and economic centralization have no interest in debating any point of law, Constitution, or even history when it comes to the deeds of America’s original and greatest of presidential centralizers, the incomparable Abraham Lincoln.
They prefer lies, name-calling, and the hyperbole of smear against anyone who challenges the Lincoln myth.No less than Harold Holzer, the high priest of Lincoln cultists has taken a swipe at my book Lincoln Über Alles: Dictatorship Comes to America Pelican, 2009 in a review in the current issue of North and South magazine Nov. 2010.
I said in my book, Lincoln Über Alles: Dictatorship Comes to America: Abraham Lincoln opened the door to the Leviathan central state that mandates, manipulates, and regulates virtually every aspect of life in America and seeks unilateral hegemony around the globe.
For this statement Holzer labeled should I say libeled? me as “paranoid,” “hysterical” and a “wacko.”The mere mention in my book that I disagree with the view of Lincoln espoused by former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo one of Holzer’s many sponsors in the leftist political Establishment drew the charge of being “especially mean-spirited.
“I suppose it has never occurred to Mr. Holzer to apply the word “mean” to a man like Cuomo who used the police power of the state to pile tax upon tax on the citizens of New York while blowing that money in a thousand frivolous ways that did little more than enrich his cronies. But you don’t see the world this way when your job is to provide political cover so the plunder of taxpayers for the benefit of the privileged, ruling elite do the names Holzer and Cuomo come to mind? can continue unabated.
Now it’s Cuomo’s son’s turn…

Doug Casey on Presidents: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Interviewed by Louis James, Editor, International Speculator
Recently: No Way Out
EXCERPT ONLY…
L: I also have to give credit to George Washington, in spite of the major turn down the wrong road he took for the whole country when he suppressed the Whiskey Rebellion by force, because he could have set himself up as king after the first American Revolution – and he didn’t.
Doug: He had the army, was very popular, and he could have done it – I agree, he could have made himself king, or been reelected until his death. But I can’t forgive him for crushing the Whiskey Rebellion; that set the precedent for federal taxation and power that eventually led to the Civil War and the bloated monster in Washington that has now burst almost all of its chains.
L: So, who was the worst president?
Doug: That’s a really tough question to answer, because there are so many deserving candidates for that title. A short list would have to include McKinley, Teddy Roosevelt, Wilson, Hoover, FDR, Truman, Johnson, Baby Bush, and Obama. But I’d have to say Lincoln was by far the worst. He plunged the country into a totally unnecessary and immensely devastating war, and violated every important part of the Constitution. But he was such a great rhetorician that he made Americans feel good about all the horrors he brought about, setting a doubly bad precedent.
L: I think I know what you’ll say, but for our readers who are used to hearing Lincoln described as some sort of saint, and probably America’s greatest president, can you expand on that? He preserved the union and freed the slaves…
Doug: The union was not preserved. A union of free and sovereign states was cemented into a single super-state, in which each individual state became nothing more than an administrative region. Who’s to say that a bigger U.S. was a better one anyway? This Civil War was really the Second American Revolution. Anyway, it wasn’t a civil war, which is technically a contest for the control of a single government; it was a war of secession, like that of 1776. I’m no fan of the Confederacy, but the wrong side won, overthrowing the federal organization that restrained national power, maximizing political and economic freedom.
L: Not for the slaves.

Mr. Lincoln The Socialist
by Al Benson Jr.
Over the years I have contended that Abraham Lincoln was a socialist–not that he was a card-carrying member of some socialist group, but rather that his mindset had that bent.
