There are obvious signs that tell the difference between genuine and fabricated event. The recent shooting of police and firemen responding to a deliberately-set fire has all the signs of being a bona fide event: there is a single consistent narrative, one shooter has been clearly identified, and there has been no good reason to doubt that the subject, William Spengler, went off the rails and committed the crimes.
There are many articles about it, which relate the same basic themes: “Killer of 2 NY Firemen had semiautomatic rifle, left note”: “Police say the man who lured firefighters in Webster, N.Y., into a deadly ambush had the same make and caliber semiautomatic rifle as the one used in the Connecticut school massacre. Webster Police Chief Gerald Pickering said Tuesday that 62-year-old William Spengler was armed with a .223-caliber Bushmaster rifle, a .38-caliber revolver and a 12-gauge shotgun in Monday’s ambush. Spengler killed two firefighters and wounded two others before fatally shooting himself.”

Genesis 3:1-15 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?’ The woman said to the serpent, ‘We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.” ‘You will not surely die,’ the serpent said to the woman. ‘For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and that you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’….So the Lord God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, ‘Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.
10 Reasons to Believe in a Historical Adam
In recent years, several self-proclaimed evangelicals, or those associated with evangelical institutions, have called into question the historicity of Adam and Eve. It is said that because of genomic research we can no longer believe in a first man called Adam from whom the entire human race has descended.
I’ll point to some books at the end which deal with the science end of the question, but the most important question is what does the Bible teach. Without detailing a complete answer to that question, let me suggest ten reasons why we should believe that Adam was a true historical person and the first human being.
1. The Bible does not put an artificial wedge between history and theology. Of course, Genesis is not a history textbook or a science textbook, but that is far from saying we ought to separate the theological wheat from the historical chaff. Such a division owes to the Enlightenment more than the Bible.
The Correct Definition of “Armageddon”
As of late, all we have been hearing from the hyper leftist propaganda news media – is that, “America is in a fiscal “Armageddon”. The media and ‘Marxist” Washington D.C. has been pushing crisis after crisis in their never ending evil designs to seize more and more power and control over our Republic form of democracy.
The word “Armageddon” – which has been used continually by these fear mongers,- has been used by many in many different ways and in many different contexts to describe a situation of gloom or pending catastrophe, but sadly when this word (Armageddon) is used it is ALWAYS taken out of its original biblical context, thus clouding and distorting the seriousness of its meaning and watering down its horrific sobering realities of the godless world’s FINAL global battle against Almighty God (Rev. 16:13-16).”but sadly when this word is used it is ALWAYS taken out of its original biblical context, thus clouding and distorting the seriousness of its meaning and watering down its horrific sobering realities of the godless world’s “Final Global Battle” against Almighty God”
As far back as the pre-flood world, Almighty God has spoken of a Day when He would judge the world for their lawless and rebellious violations against the ETERNAL (spiritual and natural) absolutes of Almighty God(Jude 1:14-15). Mankind – who lives in his fallen darkened subjective world – has rejected the ETERNAL sovereignty of Almighty God – his Creator – and has been at continual war against Him since Adam’s fall (Gen.3, Rom. 1:18-32; 3, 5:12-21).
As mankind has spread out into all four corners of the earth since the judgment at the Tower of Babel, he has ONLY increasingly manifested and blossomed into the godless, lawless and violent individual that has ravished him since his fall (Gen 8:21, Rom. 1:18-32 ; 3). 6000 years of human history has overwhelmingly and exponentially demonstrated to all without any shadow of a doubt mankind’s absolute bankrupt condition when pertaining to the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS ABSOLUTES of Almighty God.

Concerned that the economy could collapse? Or that a natural disaster could wipe out our infrastructure? So is Frank, and he is doing something about it! Believing that America has become too reliant on a crumbling foundation, Frank is preparing his family for life “off the grid,” admiring the way people lived in the 19th century. Like them, he longs to become completely independent. So he is embarking on one project at a time hoping to prepare his family for the worst, such as building a car that runs on wood in case gasoline supplies are interrupted, becoming expert hunters when grocery stores are no longer in existence, and making his own alcohol for barter when the dollar collapses. Frank does it all with determination, intelligence, and good humor.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.(Genesis 3:4-5)
The revelation of the fall of man from his position of favor and communion with God, comes down to the fact that the first man and woman, believed the lie. The Lie promised the first couple self-realization and autonomy, but as Peter would say centuries later, “promising them liberty” they have become “slaves of corruption”.
The lie of the serpent in the garden is the underlayment of all false religion, philosophy, psychology and the entire humanistic ideal that has so shaped our modern age. We see that the attraction to the Lie is stronger than ever before, and exerts a constant influence on education, law, medicine, the media, entertainment, literature and even popular religion.
What are the components of this pervasive and multifaceted lie? Lets unpack it…

In the Endowment, Lucifer is portrayed as having a “white and delightsome” body of flesh and bone. He even touches Eve’s hand with his own in a little pat as he hands her the forbidden fruit.
Yet Mormon doctrine teaches that Lucifer was denied a flesh and bone body of any color; and indeed that the way to tell any evil spirit is that such spirits cannot really touch you physically (D&C 129, especially v.8). Only those faithful in the pre-existent state will get tangible, white bodies according to LDS teaching. If anything, Lucifer should be portrayed as a black man!
Also, later in the Endowment, Peter the apostle is represented as coming down from Elohim in a body of flesh and bone. He shakes hands with Lucifer and then gives the secret grip to identify himself to Adam as one having authority. This is also impossible, since according to LDS teaching, a righteous spirit would never attempt to shake hands (D&C 129:5-6) and Peter would not have received a body of flesh for another 4,000 years!
In the “Holy Temple,” of all places, shouldn’t correct LDS theology be presented?
Why do Temple Mormons, in the Endowment, continue to wear the green fig-leaf apron which Lucifer inspired and God rejected?
In the garden sequence of the Temple Ceremony, the participants listen to Lucifer teach Mormon doctrine as he says there is no other way to gain knowledge than to disobey Father and eat the fruit.
Adam learns that the Apron Lucifer wears symbolizes Satan’s power and Priesthoods. The Participants all place these aprons on as Lucifer directs Adam and Eve to put them on. The Aprons are worn throughout the entire Endowment, and this emblem of Lucifer covers both the sacred garment and the robes of the LDS “Holy Priesthood.” Why would anyone wear an Apron that is the emblem of Satanic power and priesthoods?
Dave Daubenmire — Stop Blaming the Devil, Take Responsibility
By Coach Dave Daubenmire

Christians love to blame the Devil for everything. I call it the Gospel according to Flip Wilson. You remember Flip Wilson, don’t you, and the phrase that he popularized as the cross-dressing Geraldine? “The Devil made me do it.”We used to laugh at Flip’s characterization of Geraldine’s refusal to take responsibility for her actions. It was funny because we all knew that Geraldine’s problems should not be attributed to the wiles of old Slew-foot, but, rather, to her own willingness to gleefully give in to her sin nature.Paul told us to “resist the Devil.” Geraldine found it more gratifying to give in to him. Flip Wilson Christianity is permeating America.Adam was the first person to point the finger. When it was discovered that he had chewed on the apple in Genesis, God demanded an explanation from Adam for his blatant disregard for God’s direct command.
“What’s up with you?” God demanded of Adam. “Well, it was the WOMAN YOU gave me” Adam responds, paraphrasing Geraldine’s passing of the buck by laying the blame first at the feet of Eve, but ultimately at God Himself. “The woman YOU gave me.”We have been pointing the finger at others ever since.America’s problem is sin.
It is not the Devil. Oh, I suppose he and his minions are busy at work trying to deceive, and I don’t underestimate the power of evil, but we are commanded in God’s Word to “overcome evil with good.”Hmmm…you mean good is more powerful than evil? Yep.Look, dear Christian, Jesus came to “destroy the works of the Devil.” Although Satan’s power to deceive is legendary, he was defeated at Calvary. Thanks to the Crucifixion, and with all due respect to Flip Wilson, the Devil can no longer “make me do it.”
We have no one to blame but ourselves for the mess we find ourselves in…
He That has died is Free From Sin…Romans 6
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin. Romans 6:5-7The Bible teaches us that sin is a multi-faceted horror. We know from 1 John, that sin is the transgression of the Law of God,Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.I John 3:4We have seen from Romans chapter 1, that sin is the rejection of God’s truth and His Glory, and in Romans three it is the coming short of the Glory of God. Sin is failure to love God supremely, or to love our neighbor as ourself, it is lawlessness, self will, and iniquity. In John’s gospel it is called the love of darkness. But in Romans 5 and 6 we are taught that sin is a state of being, it is living under a God estranged rule, an authority called “the reign of sin and death”. It began when Adam transgressed, and all of his children were born under it and have known nothing else all of their lives, but the dominion of sin. The only relief for the faithful was the promise of an absolute deliverance from sin, dating back to the Word in the garden of the coming serpent crusher. For one under the reign of sin, there is no choice, for everything he does is a sin.
It is a state of being. As Proverbs declares, even the “Plowing of the wicked is sin”.Proverbs 21:4 .Within the reign and dominance of sin, there are of course varying degrees of sinfulness, there are some more given to evil than others. But all under sin, must sin, for they live under its power.
