Anna Lorance, proud Mother of Lt. Clint Lorance, wrote me, “My son is being wrongfully accused while in war in Afghanistan. He has always been the kind of man to give 100% of himself to everything thing that he sets out to do. He has given 10 years of his life to US Army with 2 tours in the combat zone. Please read his story and sign his petition and share his web page with everyone. He needs his story heard by all Americans.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to Stand for One who was willing to take a stand for Our Country!”Army First Lieutenant Clint Lorance volunteered to serve two combat tours: 15 months in Iraq and 7 months in Afghanistan, only to return home to face charges by the very government he swore to support for doing his duty.
He needs our help: make a donation here and sign his petition.Go here. More on the case here.On 02 JUL 12 while conducting an Afghan-Led dismounted patrol into an afghan village, the Afghan Army element on the joint patrol began to engage what they thought were Taliban. Worried that the Afghan Soldiers are poor marksmen and would likely cause collateral damage, Clint ordered his gun truck to fire two precision shots at the Taliban.
Submitting troops to sharia law? Bring them home.via Paul Sperry: The Pentagon is blaming US troops for ‘friendly fire’ attacks that have killed dozens of Americans, ordering sensitivity training about Islam –NYPOST.com.
Afghan security forces, our supposed allies, are slaughtering American troops. Thirty-three soldiers have been killed by “green on blue” attacks this year alone. The situation is so bad that the training of Afghan forces has been temporarily suspended. How has the Pentagon responded? By blaming our troops. Top officials believe culturally offensive behavior is the motivation behind the killings, so it’s stepped up Islamic sensitivity training for our troops.

The Marine Corps has said a recent news story about Marines being told not to pee towards Mecca does not reflect Corps training or doctrine.
The report mentioned that one of the trainers, Shafiq Mubarak, from the Marine Corps Center for Advanced Operational Culture Learning (COACL), told the Marines that in order to avoid offending Muslims in Afghanistan; they should not urinate towards Mecca.

Shine a Spotlight on the Chopper Crash:
Something else that has received little press or attention is the fact that there were seven Afghan soldiers and a translator on board the helicopter at the time it went down. With all due respect to the Afghan’s service and loss, I believe that it is worth looking into their presence on board the chopper. Link
To give credit where it’s due, the significance of their presence was brought to my attention via a video made by Pastor James David Manning.I have nothing to say about the various scenarios put out on the Internet involving a plot to murder the SEALs on board the chopper.I do, however, have something to say about the fact that there were Afghan troops on that helicopter. It is no news that the “friendly” Islamic allies that we have are less than ideal as far as allies go.Exhibit A: the seven CIA officers and contractors killed by a “loyal” Muslim ally in Afghanistan a year-and-a-half ago.Exhibit B: the Wikileaks documents regarding the collusion between the Pakistan government and the Taliban.Exhibit C: the grossly corrupt nature of the Afghanistan government. There are a lot more “exhibits,” but those will suffice for now.
