Last night, 4/11/13, in a diatribe I feel was not new to O’Reilly, he actually postulated that gun registration of responsible citizens would reduce gun crime by criminals. Even when it was pointed out that none of the recent shootings would have been stopped by his dangerous sophomoric suggestion, he stood fast.

He points to Chicago, claiming gun registration would help, because if a criminal was caught in a(n unconstitutional) “stop and frisk” with an unregistered gun, they’d be charged. It’s already illegal for these gangbangers to have guns. Laws won’t work if not applied, and Chicago does not apply the laws already on the books (1). How would another law matter to people with no respect for the live’s of others? Take the guns out of Chicago and every other progressive nightmare city and the death will go on.

On his radio show last week, Geraldo Rivera applauded the Associated Press’ decision to drop the term “illegal immigrant” from its official style guidelines and then decreed that no one should use the phrase any longer, seeing as how he believes it is akin to saying “negro” to describe a black person.

Last week, the two media titans clashed after O’Reilly accused opponents of gay marriage of lacking “compelling argument[s]” and merely “thump[ing] the Bible.” Limbaugh responded by saying that conservative Christians “were sort of marginalized” on O’Reilly’s show.

What does this tell us about the so called hard nosed, conservative commentators we welcome into our homes each day in search of an alternative to the progressive media? Well, for the most part it tells us that each of them are hypocrites at best and lying traitors at worst.

 

Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and even the exalted one, Rush Limbaugh are under orders and constraints to avoid topics, and each of them, day after day, lie about it.

 

The half truths and intentionally misleading information coming from those we have depended upon are actually worse when this deception comes from, supposedly, our side.

I see no reason reason that it should be any other way. We don’t all have to be cogs in a wheel parroting the same lines. The fact that there is diversity within the libertarian movement says to me that there’s liberty within the movement. There can, and should be disagreements, that should be debated.

 

The great danger I see is when the rejection of The Non-Aggression Axiom creeps in like a weed. When warmongers go on TV, like Peikoff here, and make Bill O’Reilly look like a peacenik.

Following the protests at UC Davis, during which Occupy protesters were sprayed with pepper spray by a campus police officer, Fox News commentator Megyn Kelly went on the Bill O’Reilly show.

The Right Word: Glenn Beck snarls at Fox

Glenn Beck is extremely upset with how he is being treated by former colleagues at Fox News because of comments he made about Occupy Wall Street. Beck appeared on his old friend Bill O’Reilly’s program last week (view clip) and expounded upon his theory that the protests are not an organic uprising of disenchanted Americans, but a global movement with Marxist roots led by several revolutionary groups like the Service Employees Union and Working Families. These revolutionary groups are funded by George Soros and the whole thing is being orchestrated by America’s most famous community organiser, President Barack Obama. O’Reilly gave Beck’s theory the benefit of the doubt, but Fox News ace reporter Geraldo Rivera, was less kind, saying Beck’s words were “harsh at best, paranoid or delusional at worst”. Beck did not take kindly to Geraldo’s insulting dismissal of his theory and accused him, in turn, of being a sheep.

For anyone who’s thinking about Occupy Wall Street and saying, “you know, they made a good point,” we’re going to do a little critical thinking today and one of them is this. When the lion lays down with the lamb, that’s when Jesus comes. In the meantime, the lion eats the lamb. Another name for lamb? Sheep! Stop being sheep, America! Otherwise, he will eat you!

Beck is neither sheep nor lamb, and he does not intend to let anyone accuse him of spouting unsubstantiated nonsense that he hopes his gullible audience will accept as fact. Beck had hard evidence to back up his theory: a copy of The Coming Insurrection, a book written by the Invisible Committee, the collective pen-name for a small group of French intellectuals and academics, and a copy of the second edition of the publication du jour, the Occupied Wall Street Journal (pdf).

Having read quite a few books on Lincoln including most recently, David Herbert Donald‘s masterful biography, I found this tome lacking. Bill should stick to autobiography and political punditry. He will bring people to the subject that haven’t been there before, and that’s all good. But, Lincoln has been covered and covered, and if you’re going to write about him, you should have something really new to impart – if there is anything left to be said at all.

Each time I do a column against the actions of military brass (or criticize the illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan), my email box loads up with cranky comments like “you’re a commie pinko” or “people like you who hate the military….”. My husband is a retired U.S. Army Colonel who served 27 years of honorable service including a tour in Viet Nam. He was also stationed at the Pentagon. There, that takes care of that.

Those who depend on the old, useless media like ABC, CBS, NBC and wholly biased “news” networks like MSNBC and CNN, likely know nothing about the railroading of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin.[1]

FOX anchors did nothing to help get the truth out about Lakin because it was “all about the birther nonsense”. It’s easy for many to betray when you’re paycheck is in the double digit millions per year. In 2008, Hannity signed a new contract with the king of pornography, Rupert Murdoch, for $20 million a year. Glenn Beck‘s contract with FOX was $50 million for five years. The constantly fact challenged, Bill O’Reilly, signed a new contract with FOX in 2008 for $12 million a year. All three of them have mocked the issue of what natural born citizen means regarding the legitimacy of the putative president’s eligibility.

Every single officer up the chain of command should hang their head in shame for being part of the lynching of such an honorable man because that’s the equivalent of what happened to Lakin. I interviewed him a few months ago on radio while hosting for a friend. It was difficult because he was kicked under the bus by his own to protect one of the worst liars and frauds ever foisted upon this country: Barry Dunham aka Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro aka Barry Obama aka Barack Dunham.

Since Fox News host Bill O’Reilly erroneously claimed President Obama’s Connecticut-issued Social Security number was likely the result of his father having “lived in Connecticut for several years,” the cable news giant has apparently scrubbed the audio of the statement from its website.

In his viewer email segment Wednesday night, O’Reilly was asked by viewer John Knox of Arlington, Va.: “What about Obama having a Connecticut Social Security number? He never lived there.”

“His father lived in Connecticut for several years,” O’Reilly answered, adding that “babies sometimes get numbers based on addresses provided by their parents.”

Another letter from Fox viewer Ken McFadden of LaGrange, Ga., asked: “O’Reilly, will you stake your professional reputation that Mr. Obama is constitutionally eligible to be president?”

“I will, Ken,” answered O’Reilly.

Fresh off his interview with Donald Trump last week, Bill O’Reilly took on another controversial potential 2012 Republican candidate, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

O’Reilly questioned Bachmann on why she thought she was even qualified to be president or if she had the experience to run the country.

“Do you have the frame of reference to deal with complicated issues like China trade? Like Iran nuclear? Like the unintended consequences?”

According to Bachmann, her age and life experience have, in fact, prepared her for the presidency.

“I do have a broad extensive background. I’m a student of many years. I have studied a wide birth of topics. I sit currently on the intelligence committee. We deal with the classified secrets. And with the unrest that’s occurring around the world. I also sit on financial services committee. But, again, I’ve lived life.”

The most interesting part of the interview came when O’Reilly pressed Bachmann on her gaffe over the site of Lexington and Concord, which Bachmann had said, more than once, was in New Hampshire instead of Massachusetts.

At first Bachmann tried to make a joke out of O’Reilly’s question, saying “I promised I would never again use Barack Obama’s teleprompter.” O’Reilly, however, was not satisfied with this and asked her about it again. When Bachmann tried to duck the question again by saying “it was a mistake and I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus so we’re going to leave it at that,” O’Reilly came up with his own theory about what happened.

“Somebody wrote that. You probably didn’t read over your stuff, and that’s how it came out. Correct?”

Bachmann’s answer:

“I’m not going to throw anybody under the bus. I take full responsibility and we’re just going to move on from there.”

We Are Not Birthers…| The Post & Email

Despite what Bill O’Reilly, Chris Matthews and other uninformed media personnel think, it’s not about Obama’s Birth certificate, nor is it about where he was born.

It is about the fact that Obama’s father was a Kenyan National and never a US citizen. This fact alone makes Obama a British subject or at best gives him dual citizenship and because of this makes Obama unconstitutional to be President.

Now those who question this openly are labeled birthers, racist, bigots, right wingers or are thrown in jail for some bogus charge. Theresa Cao and Lt. Col. Terry Lakin are just a just a couple of people who have questioned Obama and his eligibility.

These people are no more guilty of commenting a crime than anyone of us, they have just questioned the Usurper in Chief.Now where is Congress in all of this? Is Congress afraid of Obama?

Bill O’Reilly Cranky That Governor Palin Ended His Interruptions Ted Baxter bruised ego

This evening, Bill O’Reilly took a shot at Governor Palin on his show regarding the last interview he conducted with her. If you recall, the governor rightly put an end to O’Reilly’s annoying habit of interruption, by reminding him that he was indeed interrupting her. As you can imagine, Bill’s ego suffered a bit of a bruising from the governor’s action.On tonight’s episode of The O’Reilly Factor, Bill spoke with Chis Wallace to make himself feel better about it all.

He compared his behavior as a media personality, with that of Chris Wallace, stating that it is mandatory for serious journalists like themselves to constantly interrupt their guests. I’m not sure how Wallace managed to allow himself to be used by O’Reilly in this manner considering that he is not the one with the horrible reputation of being a rude host. Not through persistent interruptions anyway… No, Bill O’Reilly is the one with the bad reputation and he knows it. Obviously Governor Palin struck a nerve and an over-sized ego when she called him out last week, otherwise he wouldn’t have done this segment tonight.The funny thing is that if Bill actually paid any attention to the answers his guests give, he would have realized that Governor Palin DID answer his question. You’ve all heard Bill O’Reilly, Chris Matthews and Lawrence O’Donnell rant and rave about this “non-issue” – making it seem like only crazy people would have a concern about the eligibility of the present occupant of the White House.

They insist all questions have been answered, that we’ve all seen the actual birth certificate, that Barack Obama’s life is an open book.

But now that the integrity of the Constitution has rightfully become a state issue, because of the abject failure of all controlling legal authorities at the federal level, media at the state and local level are jumping into the act, attempting to enforce acceptance of Obama’s story on an unwilling public through the sheer tyranny of “political correctness.”Here are some recent examples for amusement purposes:

neither do I watch or listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and other conservative personalities that were silent on the crimes of the Bush administration.

I agree with much of what they say on topics like liberalism, Obama, the Democratic Party, welfare, healthcare, environmentalism, abortion, etc., but I vehemently disagree with their support of the Republican Party, the warfare state, and the national security state.

This does not mean that I have my head in the sand. I did listen to Limbaugh a great deal in the early days of his show when Bush I and then Clinton were the presidents.

I can remember when Hannity filled in sometimes as a guest host for Limbaugh. I couldn’t stand him even then and my opinion has never wavered. Since then I have seen and heard numerous clips of the Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, and Beck shows, visited their websites, and read some of their books. I previously reviewed one of Hannity’s books here.

Limbaugh is about the only one I can stand to listen to now if I come across his show on my car radio while traveling.

The only political show really worth watching – because it gives you the unvarnished truth about the crimes of both Democrats and Republicans – is Judge Andrew Napolitano’s Freedom Watch on the Fox Business channel.

However, since I don’t get that channel, I am limited to only hearing reports about it or seeing short clips of it every now and then……………………

1. If he is a Christian who converted from his documented muslim faith in his 20’s, there would be a fatwah on his ‘apostate’ head; a death sentence called for by all ‘good’ muslims worldwide. the silence is deafening here.

2. If he is a Christian, not still a muslim, he wouldn’t be reciting the muslim prayer at sunset, or saying that he will stand with them the muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction, or funding terrorist organizations like the Hamas ‘refugees’ from Palestine, or bowing down to muslim kings and potentates.

3. First, we are not “birthers” as you and others want the rest of the world to believe.

Unlike you, we want to know the truth. We do not accept an announcement or two that could be placed by anyone or a COLB wonder if you know what that is? as proof that a candidate is a natural born Citizen, as stated in Article II, Section I, paragraph 5 of the U. S. Constitution, qualified to be President of my country.

Your pontification with Megyn Kelly the other night leads me and others to suspect that you are as much a part of what is wrong with America as the 100+ years of progressive rule.

You should pay more attention to Glenn Beck, who always says, “Question with impunity.” Your lack of integrity is apparent on this subject……………..

Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly took a jab at those seeking proof of Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility for president this week by referring to them as “nutty.”

The comment came in a response to a viewer who watched the top-rated cable host’s interview with Obama on Super Bowl Sunday.The letter stated, “Bill, thanks for winning me $100. I bet a friend you would not ask Obama about his birth certificate, and you didn’t.”O’Reilly responded to Harris by saying with a grin, “Let me get this straight, Ed. You found someone who bet you a hundred bucks that I would ask the president about the nutty birth-certificate stuff.

Can you please send me that person’s name? I would like to do business with this guy.”

National Public Radio’s firing of the talented and amiable Juan Williams for comments he made on Fox News about Muslims is outrageous, even disgusting. But it is not an aberration. …I am a disabled vet… service ..from 1969-1989. I never had yellow ribbons welcoming me back home….you get the point…. I am a VERY good friend of the wonderful conservative radio show host, Barry Farber, in New York call him and ask him who I am. Barry’s cell is 212-xxx-xxxx and for the last 1½ years, Barry has invited me on HIS show as a guest more than a dozen times to have an INTELLIGENT discussion of the eligibility issue.

I have a feeling you probably have a modicum of respect for Barry for his intelligence, character and his 50 years of service to the microphone.

(Sept. 30, 2010) — I am amazed and dismayed as day after day passes with an ineligible person in the office of president. No birth certificate is required to make that determination, yet the media continues to pretend there is “no problem.”  How did the left lock the eligibility issue down so securely that Fox News and their talking heads, supposedly the one place for fair and balanced information among the “main stream” media outlets, has zipped up on the issue? The highly paid Fox entertainers only rarely mention it, and then only to insult the millions (58% by a recent CNN poll), of Americans who say they are not sure Obama was born in the U.S.A., let alone a natural born citizen. These people want a “fair and balanced” discussion, instead they get an attempt at humor at their expense for having the audacity to demand proof of eligibility from the putative president and commander-in-chief.

America being held hostage to the “race card” so completely that THE ONE in power and his many enablers can only be criticized in ways that will not directly remove them from their positions of power, or possibly send them to jail? Those who disapprove of almost everything the Obama regime does, people such as Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin, for example, call those who just want a discussion of “natural born citizen” unflattering names they think will get the best laugh in the rare instance they mention the issue at all. These people will not even discuss the case of an American hero, LTC Terry Lakin, because they fear it will force discussion of Obama’s eligibility, or lack thereof.

Last week various activists successfully managed to generate publicity for 9/11 truth:

Richard Gage of AE 911 Truth and former Senator Mike Gravel held a press conference in Washington DC presenting evidence that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were destroyed by controlled demolition.

Along with that, local press conferences were also held by people throughout the world, presenting the same evidence.

Mainstream media covered the story and wrote of AE 9/11 Truth’s findings without the usual spin, bringing the issue of Building 7 to the forefront.

On 9/11/10 Richard Gage, 9/11 victim family member Manny Badillo, and others shined a third beam of light into the sky over New York City in a symbolic representation of Building 7 to accompany the traditional two beams that shine every year for the Twin Towers.We Are Change held successful protests in New York City around the anniversary of 9/11, as it does every year, along with various speaking events.

One of them featured anti-war hero Cindy Sheehan, who said that she now thinks the 9/11 attacks were an inside job. Nine years after the attacks, having suffered the plunder of their wealth by Wall Street, seeing the wars continue under Obama, and recognizing more clearly the endless stream of disinfo and lies that their government and mainstream media are feeding them, more and more Americans are slowly begining to look at 9/11 and the improbable collapse of the 3 buildings in New York with a more critical eye.
