Today’s announcement that Hosni Mubarak is now gravely ill and apparently on his death-bed prompted me to remember the events of last year. I remember vividly turning on Fox News around 5:30am, clutching my cup of French vanilla/breakfast blend coffee.

I was greeted by an incredible scene– thousands of Egyptians in the streets, rioting/protesting. Four or five hours later, I also recall the White House held a briefing with Robert Gibbs (the then-Press Secretary). I honestly cannot remember which reporter asked him the question, but it went along these lines: Mr. Gibbs, can you tell us who or what group is behind these protest in Cairo? The response was simply, “No.” Next question, please.

Less than two hours later, our fearless leader himself appeared in the White House press room. From the podium, he informed the world that The United States of America supports the students in Cairo.

Over at The Blaze, you’ll find this video that some say shows a pale horseman riding through the crowd.

When an eerie, pale-green image appeared in a recent Euronews report on the Egyptian unrest, some bloggers asked an interesting question: “Is this the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse?” Foxnation.com, a news aggregation division of Fox, picked up on the story and repeated the same question. You need to understand, and let me be perfectly clear about it, that the two situation are completely different.Hosni Mubarak is eighty two years old, dying of cancer and has always believed himself an ally. He has done more to support and assist Israel, the only true stable and democratic government in the Middle East as much as I hate to admit the fact, than any other leader in the region. So, to summarize he’s old,sick, and ally and I can blind side him easily.Iran, on the other hand, has a president who is certifiably crazy, healthy, brutal and will soon have nuclear missles. If I stand up to that guy he’s likely to laugh at me or suggest I go do indecent things with a goat. So he is young, healthy, an enemy and he could belttle me and heap scorn upon me.Based on the careful political and diplomatic calculus involved I have decided that my already bruised ego cannot stand further abuse.

So I have drawn a line in the sand for Mubarak and have decided to pound sand for Mahmoud, may blessings and peace be upon him, because there’s no way he’ll take me seriously.In closing, I have asked three medicine men, two voodoo pacticioners and my dear friend, Reverend wright, to lead us in a dance, the killing of a chicken and a racist diatribe to secure upon me the blessing of the Great Whoever or Whatever you think may be guiding me.Good Night”

Since the Islamic atrocities perpetrated against the United States on September 11th 2001, a huge array of Arabic and Islamic terminology has entered the Anglo-American lexicon. With the current (and still undocumented) resident in the White House proudly affirming his Islamic heritage in Cairo and elsewhere, and the continuing prostration to the Muslims of America, is it only a matter of time before Arabic becomes the official (or secondary) language of America? And for that matter, will Islam become the de facto religion of this once great country?

Muslim World: We’re Sick of Obama Too

After his fact-free speech in Cairo, the Muslim World was supposed to quit hating America. The steady stream of attempts to blow us up are a pretty good indication that Obama hasn’t made much of an impression on the Muslim World.
