What About the Right to Have a Father?

I am so glad I had a father. He passed away five years ago and not a day goes by that something doesn’t make me think of him. I didn’t choose him and he didn’t choose me. He wasn’t Robert Young of Father Knows Best, nor was he Sheriff Andy Taylor (any more than I was Opie), but the older I get the more I understand the impact that he had on my life.  A father leaves a footprint, for sure……
