Following the dramatic self-revelatory interview/profiling of Edward Snowden by the Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald, the media world, and everyone else, has been abuzz about what other revelations the NSA whistleblower may bring to light.
Moments ago, the South China Morning Post releases the much anticipated second interview with the 29 year old. While hardly earth-shattering, it does provide some additional insight into the mind of the administration’s current persona most non grata.

As America grew in the 1800s from a republic of a few millions, whose frontier stopped at the Mississippi, into a world power, there were constant collisions with the world’s greatest empire.

In 1838, we came close to war over Canada’s border with Maine; in 1846, over Canada’s border with the Oregon Territory.
After the Civil War, Fenians conducted forays into Canada to start a U.S.-British battle that might bring Ireland’s independence. In 1895, we clashed over the border between Venezuela and British Guiana.

China has dismissed US claims hackers procured blueprints for America’s most advanced weaponry. Beijing stated the allegations underestimate the Chinese people’s intellect and that China is perfectly capable of producing its own weapons.
A US Science Board report leaked this week alleged the Chinese hackers had obtained access to the designs of two dozen major US weapons systems in what amounted to “billions of dollars of combat advantage to China.”

Yesterday when I saw the picture of the first fully 3D printed gun (I realize the firing pin is a nail and was not printed) I almost wept for joy. This is a first important step away from the dominance of the state over their citizens in many parts of the world.

The great and honorable legacy of President Truman is the United States being the first nation to officially recognize the re-establishment of the State of Israel.
But with regard to his handling of the illegal Chinese military involvement and attack against U.S. and allied troops in Korea, Truman was flat out wrong.

Kim Jong Un is rattling his sword in a vain attempt to gain legitimacy as a leader. The third generation dictator is desperately seeking respect both at home and on the world stage. He believes that the well-publicized bluster of a “courageous” stand against aggressive invaders from the South and the West will cause him to be seen as an emerging, world class leader and somehow allow him to fill the void left by Hugo Chavez. He apparently wants the respect his daddy never got. (1)

Considering the history of Germany, Russia, China, and other socialist nations, you would think no American would choose to follow that course, but a large number of both parties are members of the Communist party. Also, both parties have placed in powerful positions of decision and policy making Muslims who are members of the Muslim Brotherhood or other Muslim organizations.

The United States is the most hated country in the world, followed closely by Israel, and then by nobody. Wny? Why not Ecuador? China? Russia? East Timor? The hostility puzzles many Americans, who genuinely believe their country to be a force for good, a pillar of democracy, a defender of human rights.
To the rest of the world, none of this is even close.
If you have lived abroad, as so very few Americans have, the explanation for the hatred is obvious: Meddling. Relentless, prideful, uncomprehending meddling, frequently military, often with horrendous death tolls.

I really don’t think those folks looking for his failure to gain a second term were incorrect in their assumptions, it was just a case of a lot of shady and illegal manipulations of numbers and voting polls machinations worked against them. I’m still at a loss as to how starkly evident proof of illegality was so blatant, such as the Obama vote totals in one southwest Ohio county that were in excess of the total number of residents; not just voters, but all adults and children, and to this date little to nothing is heard about it.

The official Chinese government news agency, Xinhua, has demanded the US immediately adopt stricter gun control measures to reduce the number of firearms the US populace is permitted to possess. The Chinese state-controlled media’s statement, titled “Innocent Blood Demands No Delay for US Gun Control,” is primarily focused on the Newtown tragedy in which 26 Americans were killed by a mad gunman. But these massacres are something else. Who picks up a rifle and shoots little children? And why?

If the recent election proved anything, it proved that Americans are exactly what our enemies have been claiming we are for sometime now. Weak, lazy, dependent, with no gumption, no ambition, and yes, impotent.In short, modern Americans are a pitiful lot, ripe for the picking.

All three presidential debates are now behind us. Mitt Romney’s convincing win in the first clash was a game changer, turning a possible Obama landslide into an even race. The debates provided the big boost Romney needed, but for advocates of limited government, the three debates suggested a troublesome four years ahead, no matter who wins. Just a few of the red flags:

Romney appears to be on medication, either for illness or more likely to treat depression and stress but also he looks like he has been dosed with Atropine. On at least two occasions he began to tear up a bit which we will put down to stress.

My guess is a cocktail of some kind. He also doesn’t look very well and I was afraid he was either having a stroke or facing a heart attack. His color was blotchy, eyes red, he kept looking to the left as though he were a poorly trained blackjack dealer in Reno.
Romney shone most brightly for five minutes discussing trade with China. He clearly understands trade well, knows much about China, though that knowledge, as Obama pointed out, was from working for them against the US. Still, he was impressive.
