A U.S. Army Equal Opportunity Instructor giving a presentation on “extremism” during an Army Reserve training brief in Philadelphia categorized Evangelical Christianity and Roman Catholicism as on par with Hamas, al-Qaeda, and the Nation of Islam.
The instructor also compared Christianity and Roman Catholicism with Sunni Muslims and the Ku Klux Klan. In fact, among the bullet points contained in the brief’s PowerPoint presentation, the first example of extremism listed was Evangelical Christianity. That was the top of the list. The Muslim Brotherhood, “Ultra-Orthodox” Jews, and “Christian Identity” followed it.
Is the Whole World Deceived?… “…We have seen exactly that. Starting several centuries ago, and prompted by the theories of men such as Charles Darwin—who came up with a way to explain creation without the Creator—many people began directly challenging the authority and inspiration of the Bible. They began to ridicule, as mere myth and superstition, the existence of a spirit world, long accepted without question by those who believed the Bible.”

Is The Whole World Deceived?
If you were the devil and wanted to deceive the entire world, how would you approach such a challenge?
One brilliant strategy would be to convince people that you’re not really there—that you don’t even exist. And the best way to do that would be to get them to believe that the only source of information that reveals who you are, along with your motives and methods, is little more than a collection of fables that have nothing to do with their lives.
We have seen exactly that. Starting several centuries ago, and prompted by the theories of men such as Charles Darwin—who came up with a way to explain creation without the Creator—many people began directly challenging the authority and inspiration of the Bible. They began to ridicule, as mere myth and superstition, the existence of a spirit world, long accepted without question by those who believed the Bible.
In the world’s leading universities skeptics challenged the validity and accuracy of the Bible, and materialist reasoning under the guise of science—rejecting anything that cannot be detected by the physical senses—became the order of the day. Generations of leaders were taught to discard anything that could not be measured by scientific methods.
Call it Boot Camp to Break the Spirits of Callow Bible and Gun Clingers.
Dave Daubenmire — Turn Off Bill O’Reilly… “Bill O’Reilly is not on our side, and he certainly is not “looking out for you.” Bill O’Reilly is a bloviating Bible-bashing buffoon”
Here is rule number one for securing victory in the battle for the culture. I learned this the hard way, and have the scars in my back to prove it.“Make sure that before the battle begins that all of the enemy is in front of you.”
The “conservative movement” is being sabotaged by those who we think are on our own side.
The sooner we learn that they are not, the better our chances of victory will become.
Bill O’Reilly is not on our side, and he certainly is not “looking out for you.” Bill O’Reilly is a bloviating Bible-bashing buffoon.Wait…maybe he IS looking out for me…alerting the enemy that “Bible believing Christians” need to be “looked out for”…as in, “I’ve got my eye on those Christians.” Isn’t that what our “gubmint” just said?He can fight for manger scenes all he wants.

Christians have waited since for the sun to rise on this Sunday, Easter morning.
Today, Easter Sunday, we rejoice as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection, his victory over death, hell, and the grave. The Christian faith is founded upon the events of the period from Christ’s arrest until his ascension.
Sadly, today the tenets of the Christian faith have been turned and are now being used by those of little or no faith against the Christian Church.
Where are the Christian warriors? (Maybe we need a modern day Knights Templar organization to confront those who have turned America on its head. Just a thought.)
America used to be a Christian nation. She can not lay claim to that title any longer.
Look. The very word “Christian” means “Christ-like.” There is very little in America that could be classified as Christ-like today. In fact, America reassembles Sodom and Gomorrah more than a nation that subscribes to the teachings of Christ.

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ (33 A.D.) is the most attested historical fact of the ancient world. In addition to the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, it is also widely attested by Greco-Roman and Jewish writers.
The Arkansas public school district may be able to teach Bible elective courses if the new bill passes Arkansas State Education Committee approval. Arkansas State Representative Danny Altus has proposed a new bill that would allow the teaching of elective courses for academic study purposes.
The new bill also states that the State Board of Education shall allow for an elective academic study of the Bible courses that consist of “a nonsectarian, nonreligious academic study of the Bible and its influence on literature, art, music, culture, and politics to be offered to students in public school districts, if the academic study of the Bible course meets the standards listed in this section.”
The proposed bill states that personnel shall not be assigned to teach the course based on any religious test; profession of faith or lack of faith; prior or present religious affiliation or lack of affiliation; or criteria involving particular beliefs or lack of beliefs about the Bible.

A phenomenon we all needed came into our view at National Prayer Breakfast 2013, and it couldn’t have come along at a better time.
How can we take to heart an event touted as “inspirational” and beneficial to federal government officials when they piously break breakfast bread before returning to careers duking it out in House and Senate?

…..If you disagree with the idea of reincarnation, or a plurality of heavens and hells, or karma being a biblical teaching, or reaching a state of salvation while still on this earthly plane, then by all means disregard such things—whatever floats your boat. I am writing about them because they are concepts that have helped me on my spiritual path, and I share them in case they may be of use to others.
Whether you pick them up or kick them to the side is all the same to me—they are trifles compared to that which is important. What is important is, as I said earlier, that we share a belief in an afterlife and a system of reward and punishment. The reality of divine reward and punishment used to be commonplace knowledge in this country—not anymore—and we see the results of such atheistic hubris all around us in the breakdown of morality and promulgation of depravity.By this point you may be asking yourself “what in the world is an article like this doing in a venue devoted to conservative politics?”
The answer is that while it is all fine and good to debate the various pros and cons of liberal and conservative ideologies, we are just spinning our wheels unless we address the real issues that lay at the heart of such matters—and it is no hyperbole to say that the fundamental and most important difference between the liberal and conservative viewpoints centers around how they each treat the topic of God and spirituality. If you are under the impression that religion and spirituality play no part in political strategies, let me hasten to point out that there are many atheists and leftist radicals who would strongly disagree with you.
The Rev. Louie Giglio, designated to give the benediction at this year’s presidential inauguration, has withdrawn, under apparent pressure, after the surfacing of remarks he made, some 25 years ago, about the sinfulness of homosexuality.
Note that the pastor of the evangelical Passion City Church in Atlanta has been pushed off the stage not because of a deed, but because of words he said — words expressing a widely held Christian belief that homosexuality is a sin.
So what kind of irony do we have before us that two key aspects of American life, protected by our constitution, are up in smoke and the venue is inauguration of an American president, who will put his hand on a Bible and swear to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States“?………..
I think I have the Progressive/Socialist/Communist movement figured out, and the answer is God. Surprised? Read on.
Ask any anthropologist or archaeologist, and he or she will tell you that pretty much every culture in the history or humankind has had a set of beliefs regarding a god or gods.
We westerners are most familiar, of course, with the ancient Greek and Roman gods, but every civilization from the ancient Assyrians and Babylonians to modern-day tribesmen hidden deep in the Amazon jungle have complex and deeply-held religious beliefs.
Now that the Democrats have gained total control of California we are beginning to see what they want to do to all of us should they ever get total control of America.
In San Francisco mentally malformed adults stand naked in the streets next to children while they claim a right to be naked in public. The State of California plans to tax the “wealthy” at a 52% rate and the bizarre character in the Statehouse Jerry Brown signs anti America anti -family and anti -Christian bills as fast as he can.
LETTER TO CAPTIVES (“We are all captives of government, because we have forgotten what truth makes us free. “) – EDRIVERA.COM : EDRIVERA.COM
An Open Letter To Government Captives
Dear Captive of Government,
You are a fellow Captive of government. We are all captives of government, because we have forgotten what truth makes us free. Government truth is qualified as to people, place and purpose. God’s truth is universal. It is a fundamental tenet of the Christian faith that obedience to God’s laws will make us free. God makes His laws easily known by writing them on every human heart. The Congress of the United States has become the Tower of Babel of written law.
As a follower of God’s law, you need only learn how to avoid becoming a person in a place with a government purpose to stay clear of government and its laws. I will teach you the Organic Law, basic documents, upon which government patterns its laws. Government doesn’t know the limitations of its written law, because it doesn’t know the Organic Law of the United States of America.
….The event, entitled “Did Jesus Die for Klingons Too?,” focused on “the implications for Christianity if intelligent life were to be found on other planets.” According to the Global Post, actors such as LeVar Burton and Nichelle Nicholswere present, and an “intergalactic gala celebration” was included, at which attendees were urged to don “starship cocktail attire.”
Klingons are are a group of aliens from the fictional sci-fi television and movie series Star Trek, which originated in 1966 and continues (at least in movie format) to present day. The series deals with a band of aliens and humans that seek to solve the problems of the universe, tackling topics such as imperialism, class warfare and racism. Some episodes are also said to have addressed sexism, feminism and religion……….
2 Peter 3:3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
I sincerely think there are thousands upon thousands of us that are drunk on the Kool-Aid that this is a normal time in our lives. Despite the many dark an ominous signs to the contrary, there is something in us that wants to cling to a hope that this world is going to get better despite what God has so graciously and lovingly warned us …”In the last days perilous times will come”
I understand that desire. I’m a carnal man living in a world that is all I’ve ever known. I have an awesome wife, three kids, a home, a career, …”the American dream”
Personally, I’m tired of being threatened. We’ve got Muslims burning the American flag, threatening U.S. citizens abroad … threatening to riot, burn and pillage if the “profit” … er … prophet is insulted.
I mean these followers of the “religion of peace” go around shooting, beheading, raping children, all the while shouting “Alluah Snackbar” if people don’t convert to Islam. Christ and Christianity are continually insulted and Christians are being murdered, raped, robbed especially in places like Nigeria … yet I don’t see them rioting or threatening to burn down Mosques because of it. Maybe we (Christians) should do a little rioting of our own. Cut off a few heads … rape a few camels … Whoa! Nah … I’ll pass on that.
Muslim, Mahdi, or Anti-Christ? (“Whether his “deal with the devil” has played out, or he’s simply worn out his welcome, he has proven his ability to mobilize the forces of evil, to the peril of us all…..”)
In the time of Christ, there was a forebear of His coming; John the Baptist declared that the Jews would need to prepare, for the promised one was near. Would Obama be the Mahdi himself, or “the voice crying in the wilderness,” making the way for his appearance? One thing that has been made plain is his unequivocal defense of Islam at the expense of every other religion – Christianity in particular.
In the practical sense, our problem is indeed wrapped up in what or who Barack Hussein Obama is (or thinks he is), and why he does what he does. Is it one of today’s more complex of questions, or is it as simple as a fake bringing down the most Christian nation on the planet?
…..In the largely esoteric Babylonian Talmud Jesus is not usually mentioned as Jesus but as “Ben Stada” and “Ben Pandera/Pantera.” Even though rabbis attempt to deny Ben Stada and Ben Pandera/Pantera actually represent Jesus, in Jesus in the Talmud Peter Schafer shows they are wrong.
(NYTIMES) — A historian of early Christianity at Harvard Divinity School has identified a scrap of papyrus that she says was written in Coptic in the fourth century and contains a phrase never seen in any piece of Scripture: “Jesus said to them, ‘My wife …’ ”
How does this report differ...?????
A poll claims that Romney will
receive zero percent of the black vote. Well, if the poll proves correct, it means that a vast majority of black voters are ignorant of the truth…or else they’re racist.
It is a good thing that Jesus has risen from the grave or He would certainly be rolling over in it.I find it hard to believe that He would drag that cross up Golgotha so that what He stood for could be so miss-represented around the world.Everything He stood for is under attack and much of the attack is a result of His followers being so un-like Him.It is hard to write this without coming off as self-righteous.
If you are an outspoken Christian in America, you need to be concerned. If you are an outspoken Christian in
America who happens to be a gun owner, you need to be very concerned. And if you are a Christian gun owner who disagrees with the Progressive anti-Christian in America and have a platform to inform others, you better believe that you are under intense scrutiny. Sound like paranoid propaganda? Read on.
There is no overstating this fact. In the few years since the homosexual advocate Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) was installed in the presidency, we have seen a boldness in the sexual anarchy movement unparalleled in our history.
When it comes to the
PALM BEACH, Fla. – Radio giant Rush Limbaugh says the ongoing national dispute over Chick-fil-A’s stance for biblically based marriage is nothing short of an attack on Christianity as a whole.
“Now Christianity has to be banned, and that’s where this is all headed,” Limbaugh said this afternoon on his top-rated program. “All this stuff at Chick-fil-A, the target is Christianity, not Chick-fil-A. The target is freedom of religion. [With] Obama and Obamacare, the target is always freedom. When we’re talking about liberals, the target is always freedom.”
I’ve seen it advertised all over but have not yet read “The Amateur” by author Edward Klein yet. However, he gave an
interview to CBN on The Brody File show (video at bottom of post) had a stunning recitation of his 3 hour,
WRIGHT: “That’s hard to say.”
America’s newsrooms are hating on Christians. How else would you describe the media firestorm that occurred when the President of Chick-fil-A, Dan Cathy, declared his Christian faith and was widely denounced for it – by the media? It was the media that went to homosexual organizations agitating for same-sex marriage to get their quotes denouncing Mr. Cathy. It was the media that decided that the conventional Christian belief that marriage is between a man and a woman is so outrageous that to utter it in public is grounds for endless newspaper articles and editorials.

Rev. Billy Graham, at 93 the senior statesman among Christian leaders in America today, says he’s rooting for his longtime friends, the Cathy family, in a nasty public blowup over their religious beliefs.
“I want to express my support for my good friends Truett Cathy and his son Dan Cathy, and for their strong stand for the Christian
faith,” he said in a statement released by the Billy Graham Evangelical Association……….
Those who doubted Obama‘s immersion in Marxism now have a perfect window into his soul — namely, in the form of the stunning class warfare remarks he recently made in Roanoke, Virginia. We must grasp, however, what Marxism is and what it is not. Marxism is not a political philosophy to help the poor at the expense of the rich, and it is not a design for a utopian future.

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints often refer to Jesus Christ as their elder brother. This expression of endearment appears in sermons, lessons, and publications…The title is used enough that some might think that elder brother is one of the many titles attributed to Christ in the scriptures, but nowhere do the scriptures use this expression in reference to Jesus. Nor can the idea that Jesus is our elder brother be ascribed with certitude to the teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith…
Ignoring the historical timeline in which Jesus taught some 2,000 years ago in the Middle East and the advent of Islam is dated six centuries later, after Christianity had impacted much of the known globe, Robert F. Shedinger, who wrote “Was Jesus a Muslim?” said his research convinced him of Jesus as aligning in thought with Islam.
A Muslim group has released its plan to “wipe Christianity from the face of the earth,” Islamize the West and establish an Islamic system of world government – placing those who resist “under a police state.”
…..The answer may be as simple as the Internet.
The blogosphere, as it has become known, is literally ablaze with reviews and discussions of the best-selling book and film – and the comments are universally strong and positive.
…..Let’s start with the beginning. The South, Dixie, is also known as the Bible Belt. 150 years ago, in the Preamble to the Confederate Constitution, the southern founding fathers called on God for His protection and His guidance.
God was invited to the “governing table.” This was not something new in America, but it was one of the things the North was changing and the South wanted to keep. If you read Forged in Faith or The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States you will discover that Christ had been with America since before its conception. Christ and the church were with each of the colonies as they were discovered and settled. Christianity was at the heart of the laws, at the core of the spirit of the people who made the venture from Europe to America.
Gunny G: HEY! Do You Know About FlyOver Press Yet??? ~ Flyover Press – News & views from the rest of the nation
Flyoverpress.com provides a forum for those, often controversial, voices that are currently marganilized often outright censored by the gate keepers of the mainstream media.Opinions expressed on this web site, or in any of the daily articles that we send to our subscribers, are those of the authors.
They do not neccessarily reflect the opinions of Flyoverpress.com or any of its staff or sponsors. With regard to those ideas and opinions for which we are responsible, in general, FlyoverPress.com applies natural law, reason and the praxeological methodology of Austrian Economics to the analysis of contemporary socio-economic issues and policy. We speak for millions of Americans in what is now known as “flyover country.” These are honest, hard-working folks who are sick and tired of being taken for green toothed morons and talked down to by the condescending mainstream, liberally biased media.
We are strong advocates for the traditional ideas held by the vast majority of Americans in the rural areas of the old South and the Western part of the United States. That, of course, mostly excludes the Left Coast. We are not afraid to say what literally millions of them are thinking. John Rocker was right! We believe that the Constitution of the United States of America is no longer the “supreme law of the land” but it should be. It is NOT a “living document.” It says what it says in clear and concise English.
……….In conclusion, I will just say this. When I see a sign in a government-owned park that says “Don’t Walk on the Grass,” I don’t walk on the grass. When I see a sign at a government-owned zoo that says “Don’t Feed the Animals,” I don’t feed the animals.
When a situation arises like when I see a sign on the Interstate that says “Speed Limit 65″ while everyone is passing me doing 75, I speed up, but always mindful that some connoisseur of coffee and doughnuts might be lurking around the bend, just waiting to give me a ticket.
While some Christians insist that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not Christian enough, one Christian professor says “Mormonism is obsessed with Christ.”…Stephen H. Webb, says that “what gives Christianity its identity is its commitment to the divinity of Jesus Christ.
…..Secondly, the whole issue of who we fear needs to be settled once and for all, for Jesus would have us know we are in a cosmic conflict, and neutrality is impossible…..
What the Republican Party has done to fiscal conservatives over the past year and a half has been a betrayal so vast that it is difficult to find words to describe it. Back in 2010, the Tea Party was riding high and a flood of new Republicans was sent to the U.S. House of Representatives in one of the greatest landslides in U.S. political history. On election night 2010, more House seats changed hands than in another other election since 1948.
Back in October of 2006, I wrote and released a piece titled “So You Still Think Democrats are American?” – in which I described many of the blatantly anti-American views and belief systems of today’s Democrats. I grossly underestimated the breadth and depth of anti-Americanism in today’s Democratic Socialist Party, aka the DNC.
However, Obama brought it all into stark focus in just three short years and for that, I am forever grateful!
Radio host Rush Limbaugh raved on his show today about a new film opening this weekend, not only calling it a clear parallel to the fight for religious freedom under the Obama administration, but also pondering, “When’s the last movie you saw, a mainstream Hollywood movie, that was pro-Catholic or pro-Christianity?”
The movie, “For Greater Glory,” tells the true story of 1926 Mexico, when Marxist and atheist Mexican President Plutarco Elias Calles passed a series of dictates crushing religious liberty, prompting Los Cristeros, the Men of Christ, and the Feminine Brigades of St. Joan of Arc rose up to defend the Catholic Church.
Facing execution under Calles’ rule, all the Cristeros had to do to escape death was to deny Christ. Instead, their rallying cry was “Viva Cristo Rey!” – “Long live Christ the King!”
