If I were a country instead of an old man, and if I were an enemy of America, I’d be making my plans to move on the limp-wristed bunch of wimps that compose the “has-been” nation of the United States today.

If the recent election proved anything, it proved that Americans are exactly what our enemies have been claiming we are for sometime now. Weak, lazy, dependent, with no gumption, no ambition, and yes, impotent.In short, modern Americans are a pitiful lot, ripe for the picking.

And believe you me, as the low hanging fruit that we are today, we WILL BE harvested — and soon.We just saw in the international press recently that Russia, our age-old enemy is gearing up for war with America. China our other arch enemy, at least since the Korean War, is also equipping itself to take America’s place as the leading military on the globe

The pieces come together. Within the last week I have read:

1) New software, associated with Google, will recognize customers in stores so as to offer them discounts; having your photos uploaded to allow this service will (for now) be voluntary.

2) A new surveillance system in New York will store footage from cameras in, for example, the subway, so that when an unattended package is discovered, the police can look back in time to see who left it.

3) TSA is perfecting a laser that will allow detection on travelers of trace amounts of drugs, explosives, and doubtless a wide variety of other things.

4) The government is moving toward mandating black boxes on cars to record information thought to be useful in ascribing blame in crashes.

that Marco Rubio should not be selected as the Vice Presidential nominee because he would not be eligible to be President, if the need arose.

They contend that at least one of his parents were required at the time of his birth to have been a citizen for him to fulfill the constitutional requirement of eligibility, even though he was born on American soil.

If you have been allowed the privilege legally to own a gun, relish it. You may not possess it much longer. Notice that I made no mention of any “right” to gun ownership.

In fact, you may already have lost it and not know it. You may well risk being arrested and imprisoned at any moment on “illegal” weapons charges.

Do you honestly think that there is one single gun-owning American who is not at risk? There are over 20,000 illegal weapons laws on the books in America. For example, if you have been convicted of a misdemeanor in which you could have served more than two years in jail under the maximum sentence, you cannot own a gun. Trespass on government land and lose your privilege to own a gun.

He seemed like such a nice man…
