Hillary Rodham Clinton defends prisoner swap
BROOMFIELD, Colo. AP — Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a measured defense Monday of the Obama administration’s controversial decision to swap five Guantanamo Bay detainees for a U.S. soldier held hostage in Afghanistan, noting that many of America‘s allies make similar deals.
The former secretary of state was asked about the exchange by the moderator at an event in a Denver suburb.
Clinton said she did not second-guess people who make such tough decisions, but said the American tradition of caring for its citizens and soldiers was a “noble” one….

A litany of so-called fair housing laws prevents landlords from denying tenancy to anyone based on age, gender, sexual orientation, race, or a host of other criteria. The management of one Castle Rock, Colo. apartment complex, however,
has issued an ultimatum to its resident gun owners. According to reports, renters who continue to exercise their Second Amendment rights as of Oct. 1 will be forced to find alternate housing.
Art Dorsch said. “They say I can’t live here.”While landlords should be able to use discretion in allowing individuals to rent their units, it is unconscionable that law-abiding tenants already living in the complex be displaced entirely because they own a firearm. Dorsch and others in his position are being forced to make the unenviable choice of protecting their lives and possessions or continuing to live in their current homes. For 77-year-old Dorsch, it is a decision he shouldn’t be forced to make.“It upsets me very much,” he said.According to Scott Robinson, an analyst commenting on the issue, property managers are usually allowed a certain amount of leeway in implementing rules by which residents must abide.“

At a fundraiser last night in San Francisco, President Barack Obama said that the Newtown killer gunned down 20 children using a “fully automatic weapon.” From the official transcript, provided by the White House:
Now, over the next couple of months, we’ve got a couple of issues: gun control. (Applause.) I just came from Denver, where the issue of gun violence is something that has haunted families for way too long, and it is possible for us to create common-sense gun safety measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in this country and hunters and sportsmen, but also make sure that we don’t have another 20 children in a classroom gunned down by a semiautomatic weapon — by a fully automatic weapon in that case,

Does anyone believe that when Barack Obama loses on November 6, he will go quietly?
This election is shaping up to be a landslide loss for the president, and by the ever-present look of desperation on his face, he knows it. The nation should be preparing for how he might react when it happens — there is nothing more dangerous than a cornered god.
In 2008, Americans wholeheartedly bought the Obama dream. It’s never easy to let go of a dream, but today, people have let go of Obama the dream — and on November 6, they will let go of Obama the man.
The debates served two purposes — namely, showing the world that Mitt Romney was not the evil mastermind Obama and his crew had spent hundreds of millions of dollars portraying him to be while erasing the myth of Obama as invincible and inevitable.
For a man who is supposedly brilliant, it was devastating to see him perform like an uninformed moron in Denver.
Will cities all over America erupt in violence if Mitt Romney wins the election? Right now we are probably witnessing the most divisive campaign in modern U.S. history, and both sides truly hate one another. Even CNNis running articles about how polarized politics in America has become and how vicious both sides can be.
There is a lot of anger and frustration out there that has been bottled up for a long time, and this election could end up being a trigger event that releases a lot of it. Both sides are entirely convinced that they can win this tightly contested election, and one side is going to feel bitterly disappointed when it does not happen. Both sides are talking as if it is going to be “the end of America” or “the end of the world” if they lose this election. This is particularly true when it comes to Obama supporters.
If you’ve been paying attention to the Drudge Report lately, you’ve seen headlines linking to Real Clear Politics data showing how the presidential race has tightened since President Obama and Mitt Romney debated in Denver.
“For 37 years, Delouise Guerra never knew for certain what happened to the young man she called her baby brother, an 18-year-old Marine from Colorado who was missing and presumed dead after a helicopter crash on the other side of the world.
A spokesman for the group Americans for Limited Government told The Daily Caller on Wednesday they have contracted with a company to use new truth detecting technology to determine whether either candidate is lying during the debate.“For the first time, within a few hours of a political debate, the American people will know if the candidates are telling the truth, and better be able to judge what promises are real, and which ones are nothing more than political pandering,” Bill Wilson, president of Americans for Limited Government said. The conservative-leaning group says they hope to release the results from Voice Analysis Technology within three hours of the debate.
That same day, he announced he would not revoke the two-year work-permits being given by President Barack Obama to roughly 1.26 million illegal immigrants. He also released a Spanish-language TV adand posted a pro-immigration statement aimed at Hispanic voters that criticized Obama’s “temporary, stop-gap measure” to defer deportation for select young illegals.
“Mitt Romney will keep in place any temporary waivers and work permits the Obama Administration grants. … These young people have already been subject to enough uncertainty and politicking; Mitt Romney will not add to it,” said an Oct. 2 statement from Dimple Gupta, legal policy adviser for Romney.

Should Mitt ignore it? Call him out? Your thoughts?
Given the surrealistic hype from which Barack Hussein Obama was first presented to the world in 2008, how will Hollywood present America’s Commander in Chief at the Democratic National Convention (DNC), in Charlotte, NC, Sept 3-6?
Denver’s phony Greek column stage, which borrowed from the well-known Socialist tactic of mounting grand edifices dwarfing the peasantry will be replaced, and Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg have likely spent their summer trying to come up with a rewrite for the first failed script.

It has become the disappearing presidency.
He went from peddling the “audacity of hope” to sheer hopelessness. From promising change to — literally — begging for change. Any spare change. …..
Even from his wife, begging people to donate money for Mr. Obama’s birthday.
Even Mr. Obama has made some of these sad entreaties, going so far as to announce yesterday that he himself was donating to his own campaign — a symbolic gesture, he explained, of just how much he expects all of us to pony up for his re-election.
The former University of Colorado graduate student accused of killing 12 people and wounding 58 others in a shooting rampage at a cinema last week had been under the care of a psychiatrist who was part of a campus threat-assessment team.
A rampage shooting at the Youth With a Mission center in Arvada, Colo., the night before had taken two lives and left a third man critically wounded. The crime scene was 70 miles from the Colorado Springs campus of the New Life Church. But the killer had escaped into the snowy night, and one member of the congregation — former Minnesota policewoman Jeanne Assam — had an ominous feeling he might strike again.
Did James Holmes have an accomplice?
A local Fox News channel came off sounding more like Infowars than the mainstream media when it listed a series of unanswered questions that challenge the official narrative of the ‘Batman’ massacre and suggest a wider plot.
News broke Saturday night that Aurora police were sent a message electronically threatening more violence if James Holmes wasn’t released from prison. Police found and interviewed him on Saturday, but he hasn’t been charged with anything in connection with the crime.
This Fox Denver affiliate reports police received a message electronically that threatened more violence if Holmes wasn’t released from prison. No one has released his name because he hasn’t been charged with anything. But, according to the person’s Facebook page, he has a master’s in biomedical science, and Anshutz Medical Center confirmed he was in the same program Holmes withdrew from a month ago. ABC News Denver reports authorities traced the message to a router in Aurora, but it’s uncertain whether the message was sent natively or whether someone routed it through there. He was picked up by police and interviewed Saturday afternoon.

“From what we saw he wasn’t alone – he had someone with him. Because the second can of tear gas didn’t come from his side.”
“We can only assume that someone got him in because what he was wearing seemed thick.”
The surrealist aspect of “The Dark Knight Rises” mass shooting is spooky. But what if it is even spookier than we can imagine? What if Alex Jones is right and this mass casualty event was staged by U.S. intelligence and security services to create a pro-gun control political atmosphere in the United States?
One apparent political motive is to tilt American public opinion towards gun control laws and pressure politicians into backing the Obama administration on gun control. Coincidentally, on July 27, 2012, President Obama and Hillary Clinton are going to sign the UN gun control treaty.
Another motive is to increase the role of the TSA, beef up security in all areas of society, and make the American people accept the new radical changes as necessary and legitimate.
A mystery object, thought to be a military or law enforcement drone, flying in controlled airspace over Denver almost caused a catastrophic mid air crash with a commercial jet Monday.
The pilot of the Cessna jet radioed air traffic controllers to warn them that “A remote controlled aircraft” had flown past his plane far too close for comfort.
“Something just went by the other way … About 20 to 30 seconds ago. It was like a large remote-controlled aircraft.” the pilot said in the transmission that was captured on the live air traffic audio website liveatc.net.
The craft was reported as being about 8,000 feet above sea level, or about 2,800 feet above the ground, at the time the pilot reported the seeing it. It did not show up on radar.
The type of drones used by NATO typically fly at 10,000 feet and below. Other tactical military drones can fly up to 18,000 feet.
When two white newspaper reporters for the Virginian-Pilot were driving through Norfolk, and were set upon and beaten by a mob of young blacks – beaten so badly that they had to take a week off from work – that might seem to have been news that should have been reported, at least by their own newspaper. But it wasn’t.”
The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News Channel was the first major television program to report this incident. Yet this story is not just a Norfolk story, either in what happened or in how the media and the authorities have tried to sweep it under the rug.Similar episodes of unprovoked violence by young black gangs against white people chosen at random on beaches, in shopping malls or in other public places have occurred in Philadelphia, New York, Denver, Chicago, Cleveland, Washington, Los Angeles and other places across the country.
Both the authorities and the media tend to try to sweep these episodes under the rug as well.In Milwaukee, for example, an attack on whites at a public park a few years ago left many of the victims battered to the ground and bloody. But, when the police arrived on the scene, it became clear that the authorities wanted to keep this quiet. One 22-year-old woman, who had been robbed of her cell phone and debit card, and had blood streaming down her face said:
My work on the population/immigration front continues in almost mind-numbing frustration. Any time I bring up reducing mass immigration—the other folks out there start hurling names. Hurtful names such as racist, xenophobe and nativist. Chicken Little is a big one. It’s most disconcerting in that I have been integrated as a military brat since I was born. I taught in the inner city with 95 percent minorities. I still teach every race, creed and color with my volunteer ski instruction at Winter Park. I have always mixed well with any races. After traveling all over the world on my bicycle, I have deep and abiding respect for all races, creeds and colors as I know they (we) are all doing the best we can in life.
I am hoping to carve a wooden bowl for America in order to help all Americans face their own fate on multiple levels. It’s incredibly frustrating.
Nonetheless, I have pushed forward and, yet, I have made zero impact. My prayers have failed to get me on national media of any kind. I haven’t gotten on “60 Minutes,” Charlie Rose, Today Show, Meet the Press, Face the Nation and a dozen other shows even with continued requests.
The fact remains that Americans will add another 100 million immigrants to this country by 2050 and the planet will see another three billion people added within 38 years. It’s nuts and the human race faces daunting challenges as to food, water, energy and resources oil declines. I think our environment may crash even sooner as we destabilize the planet’s balancing systems. We will certainly run out of water, arable land, energy and finally, food.
With that knowledge, I ponder whether it is worth racking my mind and heart and taking enormous time to write and speak about it. Quite frankly, very, very few care. And if they do, they are afraid to speak up—especially because they don’t want to be called names. It’s an interesting predicament.

On November 19, 1863 during the Consecration of the National Cemetery following the July 1–3, 1863 Battle of Gettysburg, a clash with the largest number of casualties in the American Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln pondered whether a government of the people, by the people and for the people could long endure.
We continue to have elections, but we no longer have representative government.
“…this campaign is about more than just replacing a President – it’s about saving the soul of America. We all know in our hearts that soul is corrupted by a Washington culture of reckless spending, voting to raise your own pay, and saying you support term limits but always running for re-election. It’s that Washington that we must change.”
As many before him, as well as his major competitors for the Republican nomination, Romney accurately described the symptoms, but like the others, he offered no genuine and lasting cure beyond a redistribution of power in Washington D.C. between the Democrat and Republican political establishments.
Repeating the same empty promises of the past brings Americans no closer to saving the nation’s soul and restoring a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
If you walk up to a barn, you might say, “Something stinks in there.”
If you talk to today’s teenagers, you might hear, “Hey dude, what smells?”
In Shakespeare’s time, “Something is rotten in Denmark.”
Hamlet Act 1, scene 4, 87–91: The character Marcellus, and not Hamlet, is the one who coined the phrase. There’s a reason he said the “State of Denmark” rather than just Denmark: the fish are rotting from the head down—all is not well at the top of the political hierarchy.
In 2012, you might say, “Something is rotten in the U.S. Congress.” At this time, Americans give Congress a nine percent approval rating. That nine percent need to have their own minds checked.
Courses funded by organization that produced video suggesting buying gold was a suspicious activity
Paul Joseph Watson
Wednesday, November 16, 2011
American citizens are being trained that their best friend or their closest neighbor could be a terrorist in ‘Community Awareness Program’ classes sponsored by the same DHS-linked non-profit group which was behind the infamous “Recognizing the Eight Signs of Terrorism” video, a PSA that suggested buying gold was a suspicious activity.
“The face of antiterrorism in Colorado includes a former Washington lobbyist, an ex-Marine from Lakewood whose wife gives him the evil eye when he’s sizing up potential threats at Denver International Airport, and a native New Yorker who refuses to ride on the subway and spends as little time as possible in high-rise buildings,” reports the Denver Post.
The story is little more than a promotional vehicle for ‘Community Awareness Program’ courses being run out of Lakewood Police Department in Denver, Colorado.
The classes are taught by Diana Woodson, an administrative assistant in the safety, security and facilities department of the Regional Transportation District. Woodson doesn’t just communicate her paranoia, she lives it, telling her students that although she hails from New York, upon her return she refuses to ride the subway or enter skyscrapers.
The most chilling aspect of the course is the fact that Woodson teaches her students that their best friend or closest neighbor could be a terrorist.

The delightfully salacious political news lately has been the ‘Occupy’ movements around the world. Shout Bits has visited the Denver, CO rallies and can confirm one part of the Old Time Media reports – yes, they smell brutally offensive with BO. But the OTM is willfully ignoring another obvious fact – these protesters are of the same cloth as the communists that sought to revolutionize the US in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Their message is violence and repression, not some sort of peace and love.
Anyone who did not live through the 1968 Chicago DNC should read Dupes by Paul Kengor. In it, he combines commonly understood cold war history with later released KGB files to expose organizations such as trade unions, academic luminaries, and student anti-war organizations as indeed infiltrated by communists who took direct orders and funding from Moscow. Just as Sen. McCarthy suspected, the State Department did have communist agents occupying high positions of authority. 1960’s radical groups like SDS and the Weather Underground were in fact run by violent communists.
One of the interesting twists of revolutions is that they usually feed on their own. The 1960’s radical movement peaked under the far left President that gave the nation Medicare and the War on Poverty. Giving revolutionaries what the logically should want only emboldens them to pursue their ultimate end – in this case the abolition of private property and the dictatorship of the proletariat (i.e. communism). While Pres. Obama is a socialist from the European mold, the ‘Occupy’ troops clearly want more.
Scary Messages (side note: Deep Green Resistance is a communist organization that “believes that civilization, and especially industrial civilization, is fundamentally unsustainable and must be actively dismantled in order to secure a livable future for all species on the planet”) Listen to the words of the protesters and consider their tactics; the OTM likes to pretend that these people do not have specific messages or demands, but they do. Democrats like Rep. Pelosi and Pres. Obama are seeking to align themselves with these groups to gain from their activism, but the message on the street is very different from the one filtered by the OTM. The street crowds want an end to capitalism and the current government as we know it; they do not want reform, they want revolution. They want corporations abolished and wealth redistributed. Socialism seeks to contain capitalist spirits, while communism seeks to abolish capitalism altogether. The ‘Occupy’ movement is communist.
But didn’t communism end with Sen. McCarthy, or the Chicago DNC, or at least with the Berlin Wall? Without funding and direction from Moscow, how could communism survive? Communism did not die, rather 1960’s communist radicals hid their stripes and turned to academia. Bernadine Dohrn, communist murderer, escaped the FBI‘s top ten list and became a law professor at Northwestern University. Communist Noam Chomsky (self-described Anarchist, but truly a communist) was already an academic in the 1960’s, and after encircling the Pentagon completed his career at MIT. Communist terrorist Bill Ayers somehow escaped the death penalty and went on to be a professor at the University of Illinois (and a friend of Barak Obama). Communist terrorist Michael Klonsky also became a University of Illinois professor. Communist terrorist and ‘Che’ Guevara acolyte Mark Rudd fled the FBI in the 1970’s, but later taught math at Albuquerque Votech. The list goes on, but communists and their sympathizers escaped to academia where they have bread a new generation of useful idiots for their cause. The preponderance of college hippies at the marches shows that Marxism and communism are alive and well at the ivory towers.
Even though communism promised race equality, it produced horrific ethnic cleansing in places like China and Kazakhstan. Even though communists claim to be for free speech and assembly, only capitalist nations allow such rights. Even though communists call themselves democratic, the only tool of communist expansion is violence. Communists promise wealth equity, but they simply deliver poverty and starvation on a scale that has killed 100 million people or more. The promise of peace is met with the reality of genocide. The OTM should stop carrying water for the communists who are driving the ‘Occupy’ movement. Voters should recognize the protesters’ message and tactics as those of the 1960s’ radicals that sought the violent overthrow of the US, and ask why prominent politicians are aligning with these dangerous people. It only takes a little moral clarity to understand that the ‘Occupy’ protesters do not represent any traditional US value or aspiration.
