According to a six month Gallup survey, President Obama is very popular with only one group of Americans, Muslims, registering an astounding 72% approval rating. It is a much different story among all Americans as the President scores a weak 43% approval rating. This new data is from a survey of Americans with religious affiliations that compiled information from 88,000 interviews over the January 1-June 30, 2014 time period.
Among all Americans, even Muslims, the President’s approval rating has dropped between five and seven percentage points in the past six months compared to his five year average.Whereas the vast majority of Muslims love President Obama, Mormons are very disapproving of his leadership and give him only an 18% approval rating.

A recent Gulf News report sheds some light on how and why the United States helped bring the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist allies to power, followed by all the subsequent chaos and atrocities in the Mideast region.
Large portions of the report follow with my commentary interspersed for added context:Dubai: For the past decade, two successive US administrations have maintained close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Tunisia, Syria and Libya, to name just the most prominent cases.

The citizens are sick of being abused by the Powers That Be and revolution may not be that far away. Is America due for a Tahrir Square moment in the near future?

What happens when the United States government participates meaningfully in toppling foreign governments in the name of spreading democracy? That behavior usually results in unintended consequences and often produces disasters.

CAIRO, EGYPT—Egypt’s interim President Adly Mansour made it official—which should come as nothing unexpected—presidential elections before parliamentary elections, with the presidential election within three months.

Apparently, there are at least three American lawmakers who have determined to do their jobs, this being to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. the craven, egocentric, self-aggrandizing majority of our congressmen and senators, at great personal risk, Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), and Steve King (R-IA) conducted
an off-the-record trip (“mission” might actually be a better description) to the Middle East this past week.
