Charley Reese, a retired Orlando Sentinel columnist known for his conservative voice, has died, according to a Facebook post by his daughter.
Reese, who was 76, died Tuesday after a long illness, according to the post. He was admitted to a hospital in February and later was transferred to a rehabilitation facility.

Another day, another creepy murder related in some way to Barack Obama.
There is something about this guy that leads to unusual murders wherever his name arises.
The most recent unusual death involves the fatal shooting of a key witness in the passport file fraud investigation. If you recall, during the campaign it was discovered that Obama, Hillary and McCain’s passport files had been breached.

Bill Ayers’ claim that the Weather Underground bombed property, not people, in order to protest the Vietnam War, is two lies in one. First, they specialized in anti-personnel bombs using heavy metal staples. Second, Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn were not opposed to the war, only to a U.S. victory.

As reported by Jim Mackinnon of the Akron Beacon Journal, Ayers maintained, during a speaking appearance, “No one died in the Weather Underground bombings.” He was trying to claim that the Weather Underground was different from the Islamic terrorists in the Boston bombings case.

Of all the media covering Ayers’ newest charges, only Fox News interviewed Larry Grathwohl, an FBI informant in the Weather Underground, who said “Ayers told him personally that fellow Weather Underground member and future wife Bernadine Dohrn set the bomb that killed San Francisco Park Police Sergeant Brian McDonnell in 1970.”

A former FBI counterterrorism agent has hinted at a vast and intrusive surveillance network used by the U.S. government to monitor its own citizens.
Tim Clemente admitted as much when he appeared on CNN Wednesday night.
Discussing the Boston Marathon attack and past telephone conversations of Katherine Russell and her now deceased husband, suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, Clemente said that those conversations would be available to investigators.

Over a series of nights in the fall of 1903, several respected and prominent men of Van Meter reported a half human, half animal with enormous, smooth bat wings flying about. It let off a powerful stench and scared the daylights out of them because it moved at speeds never seen before. And it shot a blinding light from its horned head.
Shots were fired each time, first by implement dealer U.G. Griffith as it flew across building tops. The monster shrugged them off like a minor nuisance. The next night the town doctor and bank cashier Peter Dunn separately saw the creature and opened fire. Dunn even took a plaster cast of the “great three-toed tracks.”

I don’t know what to make of it, but many of the things he claims turn out not only to be true, but also common knowledge in the civil engineering world.

Rep. Ron Paul said the law enforcement that swarmed around Boston in the days following the marathon bombings was scarier than the actual terrorist attack.

April 19 marks the 20th anniversary of the Waco, Texas, massacre of Branch Davidian church members at the organization’s Mount Carmel compound.

Some 82 Davidians (including 26 children) and four ATF agents were killed in two related episodes, a February 28 military-style assault by 100 ATF agents and an April 19 fire after a six-week stand-off provoked by the FBI.
The Waco massacre ranks among the largest mass-killings of American citizens by its own government since 19th-century Indian massacres, such as Wounded Knee, the Dakota Sioux War of 1862, and the Trail of Tears.
The massacre began in a February 28 raid by ATF officials on the compound where Davidians lived. The Davidians were ready for the ATF. Four ATF agents were killed and another 16 injured, and the ATF was repulsed from the Mount Carmel Center compound. Six Davidians — a Seventh Day Adventist splinter group — were also reportedly killed in the February 28 melee.

FBI investigators for at least five years have routinely used a sophisticated cellphone tracking tool that can pinpoint callers’ locations and listen to their conversations — all without getting a warrant for it, a federal court was told this week.
The use of the “Stingray,” as the tool is called, “is a very common practice” by federal investigators, Justice Department attorneys told the U.S. District Court for Arizona Thursday, according to the American Civil Liberties Union.

Larry Grathwohl is one of those increasingly rare individuals who has led a truly extraordinary life. However, after speaking with him I found that he is an unassuming and truly humble man who has a strong belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I joined the US Army in October of 1964 and after basic training I went through jump school and became a paratrooper assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. I went to Vietnam with the 1st Brigade as part of the 2 Battalion of the 502nd Infantry in July of 1965. I was 17 at the time and I consider that this was the first time I encountered the communists and the threat they represented to the United States and to our way of life.
During my 13 month tour, my unit received two Presidential Unit Citations, a Meritorious Unit Citation, Valorous Unit Award, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation and several other medals—including a Bronze Star with a V.
Upon returning from Vietnam I was assigned to Fort Knox Kentucky as a Drill instructor and I served in this capacity until my discharge in July of 1968. I then enrolled at the University of Cincinnati and in the summer of 1969 I was recruited by members of the Weatherman faction of the Students for a Democratic Society.

“Gas masks don’t fit on babies,” one investigator in Washington, D.C. observed. So as former Attorney General Janet Reno suffers from Parkinson’s Disease in Stuart, FL, a lengthy, outstanding online video entitled “Waco-The Rules of Engagement (William Gazecki)” (1) reminds us just what can happen when a federal government-gone-wild destroys citizens. Footage of Reno leaving to attend a speech while the Waco outrage was going on is a poignant reminder of the Democrat Presidency of William Jefferson Clinton.
The federal government’s siege on Waco began on February 28, 1993, and ended 51 days later during the orgy of gassing children, women, the elderly, and most of their congregation. “We put massive gas in there,” you can hear one agent acclaiming! “My skin was melting. . . (in) the mass of flames. . .horrible way to die,” says a crying man who lived only by diving at a hole in the otherwise pitch darkness of screaming voices.”
Hard to watch toward the end of the long ordeal is the photo of the crisp charred body of a little 12 year old girl who died when the effects of the deadly gas back bowed her muscles and collapsed her entire frame. For anyone unfamiliar with the Southern Poverty Law Center, you would not gain much insight judging by their name. Rarely, if at all does anything they do relate to poverty, except maybe to bring some citizens closer to it. Granted, some of the work they do is for the good. The SPLC is a private organization with strong ties to the federal government, namely the FBI, the BATF and the DOJ.
They primarily infiltrate, investigate and collect data on organizations that have been labeled as “Hate Groups.”
Then, they turn this information over to federal authorities, providing the evidence to initiate formal investigations. Some examples of the organizations that they have targeted in the past are the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations and the Aryan Brotherhood. These organizations are most definitely racist hate groups by almost any standard. The Southern Poverty Law Center played a lead role in the investigatory work done to control the proliferation of these groups, which is a great accomplishment.

That being said, they do have a quite tarnished past as well and have often found themselves on the wrong side of an issue and the wrong side of history itself.

DHS is asking for the 7,000 “select-fire” firearms because they are “suitable for personal defense use in close quarters.”
The term select-fire means the weapon can be both semi-automatic and automatic. Civilians are prohibited from obtaining these kinds of weapons.

A news report has been quietly making its way around the alternative media, under the radar screen, concerning a Delaware legal decision to strip county sheriffs of their arrest powers in the state.
The mainstream media has not reported the story, but the son of Vice President Joe Biden, who serves as Attorney General for the state of Delaware, has issued a mandate to county commissioners informing them that sheriffs in the state’s three counties no longer have arrest powers.
When the information reached this reporter late yesterday evening, further investigation revealed that there is a nationwide effort to strip local sheriffs of most of their enumerated powers that are mandated in the state constitutions of the various states. Such a move would have the net effect of abolishing local sheriffs departments and strengthening the power of federal law enforcement agencies.

MILLER: National ‘assault weapon’ ban coming Thursday
Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office confirmed that she will be introducing in the Senate Thursday a new version of the so-called assault weapon ban. A spokesman said the full text will be released at a press conference on Thursday.

The California Democrat intends to expand on the ban that expired in 2004, by including handguns and shotguns, in addition to rifles. She would decrease from two to one the number of cosmetic features on a gun to have it be considered an “assault weapon.” This means that if a gun has just one item like a pistol grip or bayonet lug, then it is illegal. Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law the same ban in New York last week.

The FBI has released its files on the late “60 Minutes” correspondent Mike Wallace, detailing their scrutiny of a 1970 trip Wallace took to Cuba. There is also an investigation of a threatening letter sent to Wallace in 1977 by a World War II veteran titled “Communist Control of the Press.”
