There is one fact of which Americans can be sure.
The federal government is corrupt to such an extent that only a comprehensive purge of its personnel, a complete revision of its policies and a drastic reduction in its size can prevent its inevitable transition to tyranny.
The obvious and despicable lies told by the Obama Administration, defended by the media and repeatedly unchallenged by the Republicans no longer quell the growing outrage of marginalized citizens.
In order to maintain the corrupt status quo, the US government, which is increasingly isolated from the governed, will progressively resort to oppression, lawlessness and unaccountability to the American people.
The Obama Administration’s policy of using the Internal Revenue Service to silence political opponents, thwart press investigations and suppress free speech is a deliberate direct assault on the rights guaranteed under the First Amendment to the Constitution.

President Obama used his weekly radio address on Saturday to reassure the American people that he has “played no role whatsoever” in the U.S. government over the past four years.
“Right now, many of you are angry at the government, and no one is angrier than I am,” he said. “Quite frankly, I am glad that I have had no involvement in such an organization.”
The President’s outrage only increased, he said, when he “recently became aware of a part of that government called the Department of Justice.”

The US government has blocked a Texas-based company from distributing details online of how to make a plastic gun using a 3-D printer.

The Republican Party is supposed to oppose tax increases and burdensome, unnecessary government regulations. But sometimes, they lose their way.
The most recent example is support by some Republicans for the misnamed Marketplace Fairness Act, which should really be called the Internet Tax Mandate. This mandate is nothing more than a huge tax increase on the American people backed by lobbyists and some state governments. I must admit, I am disappointed that some in my party are backing this ill-advised bill.

A common feature of authoritarian regimes is the criminalization of alternatives to government-controlled education. Dictators recognize the danger that free thought poses to their rule, and few things promote the thinking of “unapproved” thoughts like an education controlled by parents instead of the state. That is why the National Socialist (Nazi) government of Germany outlawed homeschooling in 1938.
Sadly, these Nazi-era restrictions on parental rights remain the law in Germany, leaving parents who wish greater control over their children’s education without options. That is why in 2006 Uwe and Hannalore Romeike, a German couple who wanted to homeschool their three children for religious reasons, sought asylum in the United States. Immigration judge Lawrence Burman upheld their application for asylum, recognizing that the freedom of parents to homeschool was a “basic human right.”

Unfortunately, the current US administration does not see it that way, and has announced that it is appealing Judge Burman’s decision. If the administration is successful, the Romeikes could be sent back to Germany where they will be forced to send their children to schools whose teaching violates their religious beliefs. If they refuse, they face huge fines, jail time, or even the loss of custody of their children!

He claims, for example, that former President Dwight D. Eisenhower attempted to negotiate a treaty with outer space aliens in order to prevent them from destroying the Earth. He believed that these outer space beings had infiltrated the government. He also believed that AIDS/HIV was part of a conspiracy to decrease the population of blacks, Hispanics, and homosexuals.
Very few thinking persons would take these outlandish theories seriously. Yet within Cooper’s nightmarish fantasies he either inadvertently or deliberately inserted a conspiracy theory that has all of the markings of literal truth. In such an instance, the conspiracy is not a theory but an actuality.

As a Marine I served this country of mine honorably upholding the U.S. Constitution and everything that comes along with it.
I can’t for the life of me understand why it appears you aren’t doing enough to combat these attempts by State and Federal governments along with the corrupt media who seek to subvert the very Rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
As you know, Colorado, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rode Island, and New York have all illegally passed so-called gun control laws.
I keep hearing and reading by way of social media and some of the corrupt news outlets the majority of Americans are for stricter gun controls which is flat out patently false. I speak with real Patriots and Veterans about this issue daily and not one is for more control on our liberties. What make things worse are so-called Republicans in name only in these state legislatures have joined liberal democrats in the illegal process of taking away our liberties and Freedoms I fought so diligently to protect.
Mr. Wayne LaPierre I’ve noticed has been under considerable attack by these crazies from both parties and to me isn’t striking back enough. I would gladly stand on the front lines again to repel any illegal tyrannical efforts by those who seek to stifle my Constitutional Rights guaranteed me and every true American.
I haven’t seen nor heard anything from the NRA about lawsuits against these state and federal governments to re-establish what is rightfully ours. You will lose the PR battle if you flinch and don’t establish a powerful network of informational columns focusing on the Second Amendment and the rights that come with it.

We all know this story. President Roosevelt signed an executive order on February 19, 1942, authorizing the program. Congress never voted on this. The program was implemented by Secretary of War Henry Stimpson. The only major figure in Washington to oppose this was J. Edgar Hoover, the Director of the FBI.

The prisoners were released in early 1945. They were given $10 and a train ticket back home. But they had no homes to go to. Most of their homes had been sold, along with their possessions and businesses, at bargain basement auctions in 1942.
This executive order stayed on the books until February 19, 1976, when Gerald Ford rescinded it. In 1982, the American government issued a formal apology. It made token reparations to survivors of $20,000 each.
This is the airbrushed version. This part of the story could not be hidden from the public. It got into American history textbooks.

At some point in the past, the American ethos was centered on suspicion of government –whether liberal, conservative, or otherwise. For most of America’s first two centuries, Americans were taxed less, regulated less, and left more alone by their government than any other people in the world. These conditions resulted in an explosion of innovation, wealth, and culture unsurpassed at any time in human history.
As that trend seems to have reversed, Americans look to their past to try to establish where we have gone wrong and what we can do to solve our problems. Increasingly, some Americans point to the U.S. Constitution and our abandonment of its “limits on government” as the reason for our downfall. It is generally argued by “strict constitutionalists” that the purpose of the U.S. Constitution was to limit the power of the government. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Don’t get me wrong. If our government were limited to the powers granted it in that document, the United States of America would be far freer, far more prosperous, and likely not facing any of the monumental problems that it is facing now. However, that does not change the facts about why the Constitutional Convention was called or why the Constitution itself was created. If you are astounded that any Republican can still claim that George Bush was “pro-freedom” or that any Democrat can claim that Barack Obama is “anti-war,” you should be equally surprised that anyone can claim that the U.S. Constitution limited the powers of the central government.

The bodies of Phillip Marshall, his two children and the dog were found only on the fourth day after the murder. This is very strange, given the fact that the man lived in a small elite town, predominantly with white population, where everyone knew each other well.
All victims were shot from the same gun, which was discovered on the crime scene. The finding allowed the police to put forward the version of the double murder, followed by suicide.

The US presidency is the world’s leading evil. It is the chief mischief-maker in every part of the globe, the leading wrecker of nations, the usurer behind Third-World debt, the bailer-out of corrupt governments, the hand in many dictatorial gloves, the sponsor and sustainer of the New World Order, of wars, interstate and civil, of famine and disease.
To see the evils caused by the presidency, look no further than Iraq or Serbia, where the lives of innocents were snuffed out in pointless wars, where bombing was designed to destroy civilian infrastructure and cause disease, and where women, children, and the aged have been denied essential food and medicine because of a cruel embargo. Opposing Views Broke the story of David Lory VanDerBeek, who is running for Governor in Nevada in 2014. He recently posted a screenshot from the FEMA website of a supposed Zombie UFO Crash Disaster full-scale exercise drill planned for April 27th, 2013, from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
According to his website NevadaGovernor2014.com, the exercise was planned in Moscow, Idaho involving 100 participants. However, after VanDerBeek posted his article about the bizarre exercise, he claims that FEMA pulled the page down and replaced it with a statement that the information is now “only available to coalition members.”

With each passing day of President Obama’s second term he continues to consolidate power and undermine any notion of conventional democratic governing norms.
Not only did Obama make history as the first black president, he made history by winning a second term despite less than optimal polling numbers, divisive tactics, failed policies, an abysmal economy with high unemployment and gas prices, and breaches of promises to the American people. Today he continues taking his campaign to the next level, further demonizing the GOP in the hopes of winning back the House in 2014. My hunch is the American people will not stand for this and I will tell you why. The ‘Heavy Lock’ has been removed from the box without restraint or prejudice. The already illegal abusive powers projected by the Federal government have now been cauterized and sealed for use on the American citizenry.

This morning, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) told Glenn Beck’s radio team that he had some new information about the U.S. government drone program — information that some individuals might find troubling. Later in the day, TheBlaze obtained letters that were sent to the senator by Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Obama’s chief counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan.
It is select contents in Holder’s letter that citizens might find most problematic.

After Paul sent an inquiry to learn more about the government’s drone program and to ask whether “the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial,” he received a response that is sure to be scrutinized.

The senator’s inquiry was certainly specific, however the government’s response was not so concise — or at least not pointed enough to put critics like Paul at ease.

The ‘need’ word has infected political rhetoric. President Obama recently suggested that we should eliminate certain tax loopholes because some taxpayers are doing just fine and they don’t need tax relief, i.e. the money.

The Obama administration has declared war on the Catholic Church and other Christian denominations in the US. The soon to be implemented “Affordable Care Act” has several provisions in it which will adversely affect religious organizations. The US government is requiring religious organizations to comply with this law, some of which violates their religious beliefs.
The law requires all employers to provide health insurance coverage for services such as abortion and birth control. Even if the employer is a religious organization, it will be required to provide these, under penalty of fine and or imprisonment.

Rockwell: The Constitution would be a major improvement over what we have today. But we need to realize that the Constitution itself represented a major increase in government power over the Articles of Confederation, which would have served us quite well had it not been overthrown. I’m not impressed by the bunch that foisted the Constitution on us. They were really up to no good. We’ve all but forgotten that most everyone opposed it at the time. It only squeaked through once the Bill of Rights was tacked on.
The Bill of Rights isn’t perfect, but it at least had the advantage of spelling out what the government could not do.

In a rather ingenious twist, even that has been perverted: it is now seen as a mandate for the federal government to tell lower orders of government what they cannot do, meaning that it ends up being a force for centralization.
This is such a tragedy. If Patrick Henry could see what became of it, I’m sure he never would have tolerated it. The same might be true of Hamilton, for that matter.

For years we have warned our readers about the dangers that a full scale cyber-attack could have on our infrastructure; now those dangers are even higher as the Federal Government prepares to launch Pre-emptive cyber strikes against rogue nations.
According to the New York Times, President Barack Obama has just concluded a secret legal review of the administration’s new cyber war guidelines. The guidelines give President Obama the power to order pre-emptive cyber strikes to protect national security interests. This news comes as a number of financial institutions have recently admitted to being hacked by foreign hackers.

As Barack Obama begins his second term in office, trust in the federal government remains mired near a historic low, while frustration with government remains high. And for the first time, a majority of the public says that the federal government threatens their personal rights and freedoms.

The latest national survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, conducted Jan. 9-13 among 1,502 adults, finds that 53% think that the federal government threatens their own personal rights and freedoms while 43% disagree.
In March 2010, opinions were divided over whether the government represented a threat to personal freedom; 47% said it did while 50% disagreed. In surveys between 1995 and 2003, majorities rejected the idea that the government threatened people’s rights and freedoms.

HHS released a new proposed regulation under the Obamacare law that the department presented as an accommodation to religious “organizations” that object to providing sterilizations, contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs in their health care plans. However, the proposal does not truly expand the exceedingly narrow religious exemption presented in the initial regulation, which was finalized last year, and continues to offer no exemption at all to Christian individuals or business owners.
