Limbaugh’s ‘Big Lie’ Strategy….. “Limbaugh’s ‘Big Lie’ Technique Tom DiLorenzo on the smear of Ron Paul-supporter Michael Scheuer.”
Rush Limbugh recently threw a fit on his radio show over an appearance by Michael Scheuer on the FOX News Channel (as did Sean Hannity, who was even more apoplectic than Limbaugh). Michael Scheuer is the former CIA head of the bin Laden unit. Limbaugh was at his sarcastic and bombastic name-calling worst in responding to Scheuer’s comments.
What on earth did Michael Scheuer say to cause such an emotional explosion of bombast?, one might ask. Well, when asked by the host of a FOX News show about what might motivate Muslims from the Middle East to harm Americans, the man the CIA put in charge of the “bin Laden unit” said,
“People don’t like being invaded or bombed,” and they sometimes retaliate. This of course is perfectly reasonable and understandable. It’s called “blowback.”
He reminded the FOX host that Muslims have long protested the American military presence in the Muslim country of Saudi Arabia; the invasion and occupation of Iraq; the killing of thousands of Iraqi civilians; the statement by U.N. Ambasador Albright that a half million dead Iraqi children was “a price we are willing to pay” to achieve our political objectives; the U.S. government’s support for the government of Israel in its wars against Muslims; and the bombing and killing of civilians in numerous other Muslim countries, most recently in Mali and Libya under the Obama regime.

Judge Napolitano And Shep Smith Take On IRS E-Mail Snooping Without Warrants: ‘Stay Out Of Our Stuff!’ | Mediaite
With Tax Day less than a week away, Fox News reported this afternoon on the American Civil Liberties Union obtaining IRS documents via the Freedom of Information Act that show the federal tax collection agency routinely searches Americans’ emails, possibly in violation of the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition on unreasonable search and seizures.
Reporter Jonathan Hunt noted to host Shepard Smith that the controversy over the Internal Revenue Service’s practices largely stems from the fact that the agency uses an “administrative summons” to decide to search an email without a search warrant or any form of court order.
The reasons we have these protections are the wish of the Framers that our natural rights — here, the rights to life, liberty and property and to fairness from the government — be guaranteed and their fear that they not suffer under another Star Chamber.
Star Chamber was a secret gaggle of advisers to British kings that decided who among the king’s adversaries would lose his life, liberty or property without due process.

While the press in Colorado is consumed with its coverage of the capital murder prosecution of James Holmes for the slaughter he perpetrated in a movie theater in the town of Aurora on July 20, 2012, a related court proceeding is taking place in the same courthouse that the local and national press would be wise to cover.
My Fox News colleague, Jana Winter, an experienced journalist of impeccable integrity, is being threatened with incarceration by a Colorado judge unless she reveals the sources for the excellent and highly newsworthy piece she wrote for FoxNews.com revealing the existence of a notebook written by Mr. Holmes before the murders and sent to his psychiatrist, Dr. Lynne Fenton.
Winter’s report cited unnamed law enforcement sources and the defense immediately complained that investigators had violated the judge’s gag order issued days beforehand.
Putting reporters in jail for revealing the truth while protecting their sources is highly offensive to the values the First Amendment was written to protect.
Judge Napolitano is a Constitutionalist, pure and simple. When Fox News needs a constitutional scholar, they call their constitutional watchdog Andrew Napolitano. He speaks the truth no matter the consequences. Judge Napolitano Weighs In On TX Prosecutor Killings: ‘Terrifying’ For Officials To Work In Fear Of Assassination | Mediaite
Fox’s senior judicial analyst weighed in on the ongoing Texas prosecutor killings, calling the whole ordeal “terrifying” because no one expects to go to work one day and be murdered the next for simply doing their job. The state is on high alert after a second local district attorney was killed in less than two months.
Kaufman County D.A. Mike McClellan and his wife were found dead this weekend, months after he vowed to find the killer of his Assistant District Attorney Mark Haase. Many are speculating that the Aryan Brotherhood might be behind the assassinations in retaliation for an indictment of 34 of its members.
Fox judicial expert Judge Andrew Napolitano expressed just how “terrifying” this entire ordeal is, especially given just how serious this retaliation against law enforcement officials seems to be.

Theodore and Woodrow: How Two American Presidents Destroyed Constitutional Freedoms: New Book by Andrew P. Napolitano
The Beginning of the End of American Liberty: New Book From Judge Andrew P. Napolitano Reveals How Two U.S. Presidents Destroyed Constitutional Freedoms and Paved the Way for Today’s Assault on Liberty
Release date: November 16, 2012 – They are two of America’s most celebrated presidents. One, a Republican who had a storied military career, created the American conservation movement and once gave a speech after being shot by a would-be assassin; the other, a Democrat who overcame dyslexia as a child only to lead America to victory in World War I and formulate the idea of an international body of nations dedicated to the preservation of peace.
These are the tales all American schoolchildren are taught about Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. However, they are also a whitewashed view of two U.S. presidents who, more than any other, set the United States on a path of expansionist government that has given us anti-liberty policies like Obamacare.

» It’s now clear: Obama intends to use drone strikes to kill American journalists and political enemies Alex Jones’ Infowars: There’s a war on for your mind!
President Obama plans to use military drones in the skies over the United States to assassinate journalists, patriots and critics of his administration. That’s the inescapable conclusion from the emerging pattern of evidence now publicly available — keep reading for details.
Front and center in this pattern of evidence is the 16-page memo that was just released by Obama’s lawyers in the Department of Justice. This memo puts forth a “legal justification” for the President to order the drone assassination of any American citizen he names — anytime, anywhere, for any reason. This new power claimed by the President has no basis in federal law or the Constitution. It is an invented power of absolute tyranny that puts the power to decide who lives and who dies in the hands of one man. This document essentially legalizes the President acting as a serial murderer.
A leaked email from an Agriculture Department field officer adds fuel to claims President Obama’s political strategy is to make the billions in recent federal budget cuts as painful as possible to win the public opinion battle against Republicans.
The email, circulated around Capitol Hill, was sent Monday by Charles Brown, a director at the agency’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service office in Raleigh, N.C. He appears to tell his regional team about a response to his recent question on the amount of latitude he has in making cuts.

It’s most gratifying that people are beginning to wake up to the bullying tactics of the White House toward those in the press who occasionally stray from the government-owned media model, but this has been going on for a while.
Veteran reporter Bob Woodward has said in interviews with Politico and CNN that a White House official warned him he would “regret” publishing a story reporting that the sequestration was President Obama’s idea.
“(The White House aide) yelled at me for about a half-hour,” said Woodward. The aide later apologized to Woodward in an email and claimed he was not making a threat but merely observing that Woodward would regret “staking out that claim.”
Does the aide’s story sound credible in light of the context? He was yelling at Woodward, not making a casual observation about Woodward’s journalistic accuracy. Why? Because Woodward’s account undermines Obama’s credibility on the story dominating the political landscape now: the sequestration.
Obama is on another campaign tour, jetting about the nation on the people’s dime, accusing Republicans of putting the nation’s essential services in jeopardy because they want to protect the rich.

President Obama willingly admits he dispatched CIA agents to kill an American and his teenage son and the son’s American friend while they were in a desert in Yemen in 2011. He says he did so because the adult had encouraged folks to wage war on the United States and the children were just “collateral damage.” He says further that he’ll do this again when he is convinced that killing Americans will keep America safe. He says he knows the adult encouraged evil, and his encouragement caused the deaths of innocents. The adult was never charged with a crime or indicted by a grand jury; he was just targeted for death by the president himself and executed by a CIA drone.

He will likely order the EPA to tax ammunition to pay for “the environmental damage and clean-up.” In general, he believes Obama will bury Congress in a siege of EOs, knowing that Congress will not stop him. Only Congress can levy taxes, so this sets-up a fight between Obama and the so far eunich House, a fight he wants.

Breaking… Obama is tripling-down on gun control via executive orders. Sounds like the Class 03 FFL/C&R will be limited or abolished. Will seek to erase the limit on the EPA‘s regulating lead bullets. Here it comes, unless the Repubs do something.
RUSH: Obama said to the New Republic he’d get a lot more done without Fox News and Rush Limbaugh. The rest of the media’s in the tank. Everybody else has fallen in line. There is no opposition other than Fox News and Limbaugh. The way it works, and what this all boils down to, the Republicans,
I mean, everybody knows they want to get along with Democrats. Everybody knows they want to socialize. They want their lives to have meaning, but Limbaugh is the one standing in the way ’cause what happens? The Republicans are simply afraid that I’m gonna criticize ‘em if they do something that is cooperative with the Democrats. And so that’s a problem. He started his first term the same way.
You know, the timing here is interesting. I think within the first week, maybe two, in 2009, Obama convened a meeting at the White House of the congressional leadership, House and Senate, Republican, Democrat. And he said to John Boehner and Eric Cantor, “You can’t listen to Rush Limbaugh. That’s not the way things get done.” And I remember, I talked to Boehner here in the EIB Southern Command offices some short weeks later, and he brought that up, and he said, “Why would he say that to us? We’re sitting in there talking about legislative action coming down the pike in his first year, ‘Can’t listen to Rush Limbaugh. You gotta stop listening to Limbaugh. That’s not how things get done.’”
I said, “You really don’t know why? He was hoping one of you would agree with him, Mr. Speaker. He was hoping that one of you Republicans would go to the microphone after that meeting and agree with him, ’cause his whole purpuse is to eliminate any opposition.”
“Ah, Rush, that’s not what he’s trying to do.” Boehner disagreed with me and said that I was misreading the situation. Here we are four years later, and it’s the same thing. Different words, same thing. “The Republicans would be more willing to work with the Democrats,” meaning, the Republicans would be more willing to cave in. The Republicans would be more willing to compromise their principles. “The Republicans would be more willing to give me what I want if it weren’t for Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.” ‘Cause I’ve got everybody else in the tank.

The election of Mr. Obama to the highest elective office – the first African-American to win the presidency – did not necessarily signal a new era of post-racial politics. But coming just a generation after federal troops in the South (and a federal judge in Boston) were necessary to desegregate public schools, it was a huge milestone.

Sen. Rand Paul on Wednesday night announced plans to try to undo parts of President Barack Obama’s executive proposals to curb gun violence, saying the president may be developing a “king-like complex.”
“We will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation,” the Kentucky Republican said on Fox News in reference to 23 actions Obama unveiled earlier in the day. The executive actions range from steps to encourage states to improve information sharing on background checks to directing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct new studies related to gun violence.

Tribal America… (“… Kirsten Powers argued that Republicans needed to deal with the reality that America is becoming what she called a “brown country.” “)
To an immigrant such as myself (not the undocumented kind, but documented up to the hilt, alas), one of the most striking features of election-night analysis was the lightly worn racial obsession.
Her fellow Democrat Bob Beckelobserved on several occasions that if the share of the “white vote” was held down below 73 percent Romney would lose. In the end, it was 72 percent and he did. Beckel’s assertion — that if you knew the ethnic composition of the electorate you also knew the result — turned out to be correct.
This is what less enlightened societies call tribalism: For example, in the 1980 election leading to Zimbabwe’s independence, Joshua Nkomo’s ZAPU-PF got the votes of the Ndebele people while Robert Mugabe’s ZANU-PF secured those of the Shona — and, as there were more Shona than Ndebele, Mugabe won. That same year America held an election, and Ronald Reagan won a landslide victory.

On Friday, November 09, 2012, FoxNews published online “Obama holds firm to tax hikes as he invites Hill leaders to talks on ‘fiscal cliff’” In which Barack Obama, was in full puffery and arrogant narcissism three days after somehow managing to completely fool the polls by fixing a victory in the face of oft-predicted landslide proportions of defeat.
The arrogance was highly evident as Obama claimed his election was a vindication of his fiscal policy. Then he added this bit of self-puffery, “I refuse to accept any approach that isn’t balanced,”. “This was a central question during the election … and on Tuesday night, we found out that a majority of Americans agree with my approach.”
The second part of that last sentence “we found out that a majority of Americans agree with my approach” is praise undeserved but seemingly routine for this self-loving egoist. There was NO majority of Americans agreeing with his approach.

I have had strong differences with most of the presidents in my life time, however, I have never questioned a president’s loyalty to country or to the men and women who serve our country.
Yet the bizarre handling by this president and his surrogates of the attacks on our diplomatic mission in Libya and the events leading up to the attacks, compels me to ask if Barack Obama and his senior advisor committed treason against the men in Benghazi. The President and his administration have been less than forthcoming about what happened in Benghazi, Libya. What we do know is only due to information leaking out and made public by Fox News. No other media outlet is covering this story.
Following a pair of denials by the CIA and the National Security Council to a Fox News story published Friday, the Pentagon has come under scrutiny for its response to the assault on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.
However, in a statement to The Atlantic Wire, a senior defense official says the Pentagon never rejected requests for military intervention in Benghazi. Not only that, the official said no such requests were ever made.
