Big Sis to AZ: Drop Dead – The Rush Limbaugh Show
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Rockville, Maryland. Hi, Barry. I’m glad you waited. You’re next on the EIB Network. Hello, sir.
CALLER: Yeah. Hey, listen, I am really honored to speak to you, Maha Rushie.
RUSH: Thank you, sir, very much.
CALLER: And mega Free Republic dittos from the People’s Republic of Maryland.
RUSH: Yes. I appreciate that.
CALLER: And let me just get to my point. I thought the Supremes gave us very clear instructions and a little bit of a warning when they upheld that part of the Arizona law. Look, if you or I are driving through Arizona and have a busted taillight and get pulled over, they’ve gotta occasionally ask people like you and me to show that we’re citizens or ask us where we’re born, et cetera, et cetera. They have to avoid profiling brown people that look and sound like they’re from Central America. They can’t do that. Then they’ll wind up back in court and they’ll lose. They’ve got to show documentation that they asked African-Americans who look and sound like Americans, white Americans –

Even the richest Colombian coffee couldn’t save Hillary Clinton from the telltale effects of a hard night of partying.
The iPad Answer (“…We aren’t going to fix the economic or social problems until the sheeple smarten up and realize how deeply immoral our society has become. “…”)
I was struck by a comment by one of our Freepers – ClearCase_guy, notably because I’ve said much the same thing here and there. ClearCase_guy said,
“Sometimes I wish the Republicans would put both the economic and social issues on the back burner. We probably need to spend 4 years just HAMMERING the propaganda industry, the media, and the educational establishment. Just expose them all as manipulative liars with no principles of any kind.
We aren’t going to fix the economic or social problems until the sheeple smarten up and realize how deeply immoral our society has become. “
ClearCase guy couldn’t have said it better. It is constant Right-Left bickering instead of coming down on Right vs Wrong. A society without morals and truths will soon be in shackles.
The problem with the media is that they lie. The problem with democrats and progressives is that they lie all the time. Anybody can say anything and get away with it, especially their side. All you get is back and forth ‘he said, she said’ or ‘I was taken out of context’ or ‘they all do it’ etc. Nobody believes anybody with all the denials and distortions.
The only way to fight the media is to confront them with actual unedited news clips, events, and the lies and outrageous comments of media hacks, campaign consultants, and politicians. It is not enough to just verbally counter the David Gregorys or Chuck Todds or Stephanopouluses.
On last week’s Meet the Press, Gregory challenged a Republican congressman when he accused the media of mocking the Mormon religion. The congressman brought up a quote from Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC which nailed O’Donnell. Gregory shrugged and went to another topic.
It’s not enough to just counter the enemy with facts. To really impress the viewer, the independents, and the media itself is to counterattack with actual visual evidence. Surprise them. Hoist them on their own petard on their own studio sets.
Enter the iPad. Remember when Obama gave the Queen of England all of his famous speeches on an iPod? I am proposing that the republicans arm themselves before stepping on stage with Couric or Lauer or Letterman or Gregory with iPads chock full of news videos of media bias that can be instantly played back to them. Suddenly, the usual hapless blundering republican mouthpiece has veritable visual firepower at his disposal.
The Daily Bell – Nelson Hultberg on the Debut of SPOiLER, His New Political Party and How Ron Paul Could Win the Presidency
The Daily Bell is pleased to present an exclusive interview with Nelson Hultberg (left).
Introduction: Nelson Hultberg is a freelance writer in Dallas, Texas and the Executive Director of Americans for a Free Republic. His articles have appeared in such publications as The Dallas Morning News, the San Antonio Express-News, The American Conservative, Insight, The Freeman, and Liberty, as well as numerous Internet sites. He is the author of Why We Must Abolish The Income Tax And The IRS (1997) and has written a new book titled, The Conservative Revolution: Why We Must Form a Third Political Party to Win It. In addition, he has a major work on political philosophy, The Golden Mean: The Case for Libertarian Politics and Conservative Values, that is to be released in this coming year.
Daily Bell: How did you feel about the premier of James Jaeger and Matrixx Productions latest film, SPOiLER: How a Third Political Party Could Win? (To watch SPOiLER now, click here.)
Nelson Hultberg: I think it is a stunning effort. It goes to the heart of why the American political scene is so corrupted with the poison of collectivism by exposing the terrible ideological fallacies that have seeped into our political system over the past 100 years. This is a film that could never have been made in Hollywood. Only because Jaeger and Matrixx are such independent contrarians could this have been brought about. What was it Orwell said? “In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” That is our situation today. We live in such a time of deceit in all areas of our society, and especially in Hollywood, that only the contrarians and revolutionaries are capable of deciphering the truth and putting it in front of the people. That’s what this film is about – a revolutionary shift in political thought. It asks questions that the lackeys to liberalism that run Hollywood will never ask. It unmasks the root causes of our problems. It points the way toward a restoration of our Republic, which is something you will never get from the establishment moguls in cinema……………………..

Mr, or Ms, Freshman or any Congressman seeking tea party support: Please Vote against the Continuing Resolution.
The eyes of the Tea Party are watching. The Continuing Resolution is a Democrat Trojan Horse that contains $105 BILLION life support for Obamacare. Mr. Congressman, don’t get fooled by the laid back Republicans who don’t see this as a golden opportunity. This is your chance. Don’t blow it. Pay attention to Michele Bachmann.
Forget about Boehner. It will take courage. Do you have the right stuff?Don’t fall under the spell of the go-along, get-along crowd. You were sent to Washington to kill Obamacare. Here’s your chance. Luke 17, The Lord’s Other End Times Prophecy

So in Luke 17:20-37 the Lord explained the two phases of the Kingdom, the invisible phase (the Church) and the visible one (the Millennial Kingdom). He said he was going away and then coming back, and that His 2nd Coming will be physical just like His first one. He also said there will be a believing remnant preserved through the End Times judgments that precede His return (Israel), another group of believers who will be removed to a place of safety before the judgments begin (the Church), and a group of Tribulation survivors. Upon His return, some of the Tribulation survivors will be received into the Kingdom as a reward for believing, while the rest will be sent to the place prepared for the devil and his angels for refusing to believe. It’s a remarkable overview of the Great Tribulation and 2nd Coming. You can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah. 01-15-11

Newsrooms and hospitals have one major thing in common: the “hush” is the loudest thing anyone ever hears. The “hush” is the moment when normal activity stops cold for an announcement of major events that will entirely reshape any usual activity. While both newsrooms and hospitals stop on that kind of news — and then, following it, race into a whirlwind of overdrive — the similarities end there.
Hospitals gird for the incoming and the flood of bad news to follow; most newsrooms do not. In a newsroom, tragic events are met with a different vibe: an electric jolt that energizes the room with a sense of self-importance.
The shot of adrenaline that surges through a newsroom is fascinating to watch. After the initial rush, the newsroom is never satisfied. There is a reason why the term “news junkie” exists; there is always the next twist, the next piece of fresh information, the next set of numbers (think of the alcohol shots of “news” that an election night provides with its changing and evolving big story).
That’s the backdrop of what took place on Saturday. The initial news breaks, the “what.” A shooting in a crowd in Arizona…might be, yes, now confirmed…a U.S. representative. Followed shortly by the scale of the attack, where it occurred, and the emergency response taking place. Once the “what” is established, then the other ws come into play. Journalists live by an old truism, the rule of ws — Who, What, When, Where, Why. The change to the profession over the past thirty-pluls years I have been in it is the last w, the “why.” The first four are always the easiest. Those were known within minutes of the story breaking. But the “why” takes time, and news in the 24/7 world of news today…

Anti-Mormon ‘purge’ coming on Free Republic? [was this the cause of our DNS attack]

I have contended since 2007 that the conservative political web site Free Republic is one of the most active anti-Mormon hate sites on the Internet. The Society for the Prevention of Anti-Mormonism began an unscientific survey of Free Republic in December 2008 which ran for about a year. Citing the report that was published on the Free Republic Anti-Mormon (FRAM) Report blog site:
“Beginning in December 2008 and continuing up to February 2010, there were a total of 702 discussions about Mormonism on Free Republic. 144 of them or 21 percent were favorable towards the Church. These consisted primarily of “devotional” or “LDS Caucus” discussions where site rules prohibit debates or hostile expressions by non-caucus members.
“A total of 51 “neutral” discussions were found for a total of 7 percent. These were generally discussions where mention of Mormons and Mormonism were incidental, such as a political discussion about Mitt Romney or Glenn Beck. There was a considerable amount of anti-Mormon activity in these threads, but for the purposes of the survey, they were not counted as such because the intent of the the individuals initiating the topics was clearly not to attack the Church.

Department of Justice Goes Black — Dumps Red, White and Blue

I have reported extensively on Obama‘s Department of Injustice over the past two years here. In every case, the DoJ has gone to war against America. Against the military, against free speech, against the voter, against the war on jihad, against Arizona and the protection of our borders, in support of Islamic law (sharia) and as a proponent of reverse racism ….. the list goes on.

The move speaks volumes. The U.S. Department of Justice has changed its web site. Gone are the patriotic, distinctly proud American red, white, and blue U.S. flag decorations on the page:
