Last week in one fell swoop the last two remaining critics of Washington/Tel Aviv imperialism were removed from the mainstream media. Judge Napolitano’s popular program, Freedom Watch, was cancelled by Fox TV, and Pat Buchanan was fired by MSNBC. Both pundits had wide followings and were appreciated for speaking frankly.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, host of Fox’s Freedom Watch was unceremoniously dumped from the network this week. Napolitano says in a Facebook posting that it was nothing out of the ordinary and to please not email Fox demanding his reinstatement. According to the Judge, these things happen all the time and are ratings inspired.
Watch the two videos linked here and let us know if you think his termination was purely economic.
The fact is, Judge Napolitano was calling out the powers that be. He casting light on the fact that the political parties only have their well-being at heart, not yours. That the system is completely broken and that the government is out of control and a threat to us all. He highlighted the futility of the candidates this electoral go-round and pointed to Ron Paul as being authentic, honest, consistent and all too often right. If these acts and words earned the Judge a discharge, then it was a well earned one indeed.

Judge Andrew Napolitano closed his show, Freedom Watch, tonight with the same message of awareness of civil liberties and adherence to the ideals of the founding fathers he did every night since the show went on the air in summer 2010– except this time, it was the last time the show would air a new episode. Was Judge Andrew Napolitano cutting to close to the bone for the establishment?
Prison Planet.com » Fox Business News Axes Freedom Watch
The Fox Business Channel has cancelled one of the only shows on the entire Fox News network that was in any way informative or watchable – Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano.
In a press release distributed late Thursday, the channel announced that its entire prime-time programming lineup had been changed, with re-runs of already existing programs replacing Freedom Watch.
Napolitano’s show had been airing for a year, in which time he had consistently covered major issues that other news programs would only gloss over, if they devoted any coverage to them at all.
Napolitano’s coverage of the freedom stripping National Defense Authorization Act for one was second to none as far as mainstream news output was concerned. His legal and constitutional expertise on such matters is also unrivalled.

What an outrage. FOX has axed Judge Napolitano’s show, and not for ratings reasons. But as much as we will all miss the greatest news and commentary show ever to appear on TV—this cretinous cancellation punishes the large audience most—there are more important things ahead for the Judge, and rightly so.
In the meantime, read his books. (Thanks to Zach Kramer)

Judge Napolitano asks some profound questions on the state of our country and our Constitution.
What Happens when Government Tips the Scales? – The Plain Truth – Freedom Watch – Fox Business
Does the government work for us or do we work for the government? Why do we let the government dupe us? Tonight, there is danger when the government is wrong.
Periodically, the huge apparatus of the federal government uses its power to give us information about itself and about ourselves, in the form of statistics.
Whether it is the Department of Labor, the Congressional Budget Office, the Treasury Department, or even the Federal Reserve, the feds are fixated on statistics and they use statistics to make things appear to be better than they are, and to manipulate our thinking.
It Is Dangerous to Be Right When the Government Is Wrong by Andrew P. Napolitano
Where Do Our Rights Come From?
After a trip to the American Midwest in 1959, Nikita Khrushchev, then the ruler of the Soviet Union, became convinced that corn could solve many of the USSR’s economic woes. Russia had long struggled with miserably inadequate food supplies, the result of years of inept Communist agricultural policies. Having witnessed the wild success of corn production in America, Khrushchev reasoned that the grain could be equally successful in Russia, and thus support increased meat and dairy production necessary to feed the population. He therefore commanded that vast swaths of land, including the frigid tundra of Siberia, be converted to corn crops. As it turned out, corn was entirely unsuitable to the Russian climate, and the plan was a complete disaster.
The reason, of course, that the policy failed was Khrushchev’s ignorance of the immutable fact – the self-evident truth – that corn can only be grown under certain conditions, and Russia’s climate did not provide them. The cost of this misjudgment was wasted resources and prolonged hunger. It is obvious that politicians must enact laws which are in accord with such “truths.” If they do not, then the inevitable consequence is human suffering. There are some things which humans and their constructed governments simply cannot change; that is to say, those things transcend our human capacities and cannot be the object of our will. Individuals and governments are thus always secondary and subject to these truths.
What are these truths, but “natural laws”? What other laws are there, with which human commands must accord? As we shall see, there are natural rights every human possesses by virtue of being human which protect our essential “yearnings” from government interference. And as we shall also see, manmade laws are only valid to the extent that they comport with and are subject to these natural rights. This is all known as the Natural Law.
This scheme is in contrast to the legal philosophy of…………..

The Myth of American Freedom by Andrew P. Napolitano
Here is Judge Napolitano’s closing argument yesterday on his FreedomWatch.
Does the government work for us or do we work for the government? Is freedom in America a myth or a reality? Tonight, what if we didn’t live in a free country?
What if the Constitution were written not to limit government, but to expand it? What if the Constitution didn’t fulfill the promise of the Declaration of Independence, but betrayed it? What if the Constitution actually permitted the government to limit and constrict freedom? What if the Bill of Rights was just a paper promise, that the government could avoid whenever it claimed the need to do so? What if the same generation – in some cases the same people – that drafted the U.S. Constitution enacted laws that violated it? What if the merchants and bankers who financed the American Revolution bought their way into the new government and got it to enact laws that stifled their competition? What if the civil war that was fought in the name of freedom actually advanced the cause of tyranny?
What if the federal government were the product of 150 years of stealing power and liberty and property from the people and the states? What if our political elites spent the 20th century importing the socialist ideas of big government Statism from Europe? What if our political class was adopting the European political culture from which our founding fathers fought so hard to break free?…………….
