Some half a million people read Doug Hagmann’s Friday Canada Free Press CFP column, DHS Insider: It’s about to get very ugly.
A good thing too because Glenn Beck, who read most of the Hagmann column on his radio show today didn’t seem to know he was reading American investigator/radio talk show host and senior CFP columnist Doug Hagmann.

…..I try not to watch the MSM very often, but today I tuned into Glenn Beck for his “Founders Friday” program. Sadly, it turned out to be nothing more than a pitch to the multiculturalists where he praised the efforts of black Americans throughout history, particularly in the War for Independence.

Beck and his guest David Barton were groveling at the feet of those who demand that history should be studied from month to month, each month honoring some ethnic minority wronged by evil white males, past and present. Nothing new.
I certainly wasn’t surprised by any of this, but what really got under my skin was the fact that Beck and Barton both made time in this program to bash the South replete with very glaring historical inaccuracies. Beck prides himself on “rediscovering” historical narratives which differ greatly from the Establishment’s verion, yet today he revealed himself to be thoroughly hypocritical and inconsistent. I was never a huge fan of Beck before all of this, but he now has zero integrity as far as I’m concerned.

Just a few minutes ago our jib operator Justin came up to me. He said, ‘Glenn, out of all of the things you’ve covered in your life where does this fit in importance? And I said ‘Most people are going to think this is maybe 20 or 50.’
In the last 50 years this is we’ve had the Watts Riots, and the death of the Martin Luther King and the things that I have covered in the last 40 years, I would say this is top five. Maybe number 2. And possibly number one in importance. Number one, is clearly the World Trade Center bombing.

The context of what he was saying was cast to the mundane when he admitted, after years on TV and the radio of saying the opposite, that he was prevented from taking up subjects by the stations where he worked. What does this tell us about the so called hard nosed, conservative commentators we welcome into our homes each day in search of an alternative to the progressive media? Well, for the most part it tells us that each of them are hypocrites at best and lying traitors at worst.
Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and even the exalted one, Rush Limbaugh are under orders and constraints to avoid topics, and each of them, day after day, lie about it.
The half truths and intentionally misleading information coming from those we have depended upon are actually worse when this deception comes from, supposedly, our side.

Amid a growing debate about the future of conservative media, The Blaze‘s For the Record aspires to 60 Minutes-level credibility, run by Beck‘s own “Woodwards and Bernsteins.”On Wednesday night, Glenn Beck’s TV network The Blaze will air the first episode of an investigative newsmagazine show called For the Record — the latest move by the network to build journalistic credibility amid a broader debate about the state of conservative media.
Beck introduced the idea for the show in January as part of a larger plan to build out the network’s news division and more sharply focus its programming on a libertarian audience. He said he hoped the show would eventually air nightly, and pledged that it would aspire to the highest journalistic standards, citing 60 Minutes as its inspiration.

After Paul sent an inquiry to learn more about the government’s drone program and to ask whether “the president has the power to authorize lethal force, such as a drone strike, against a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and without trial,” he received a response that is sure to be scrutinized.

After spending last week mocking Alex Jones for believing in crazy conspiracies, last night Glenn Beck put forth his own theory about how President Obama is seeking to foment civil war in America, the catalyst of which will be an executive order he issues gutting the Second Amendment.
As Beck foresees it, Obama will initially accept some sort of compromise gun control legislation from Congress but then start complaining that it didn’t go far enough while waiting patiently for another high-profile gun crime to take place which he can then use as evidence that the compromise legislation was insufficient and thus provide justification for issuing an executive order banning and confiscating weapons.

As many news sites and pundits break down the biggest stories of 2012, one story too big to miss has been resurrected by the website TeaParty.org, a story at least one national pundit believes could send Barack Obama to prison.
The tea-party site posted a Glenn Beck video from October in which the TV and radio host insisted a case for treason could be built against President Obama for his role in the attack of Sept. 11, 2012, in which armed Libyans captured and killed U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three others at an American diplomatic mission in Benghazi.

“This president is lying to you about Benghazi in such spectacular fashion that I believe people will go to prison,” Beck said on the Blaze TV broadcast of his radio show. “This is impeachable; the president might go to prison for this one.”
Beck cited evidence that Ambassador Stevens had been helping arm Arab Spring rebels in Libya and Syria, rebel forces that included al-Qaida operatives and a heavy Muslim Brotherhood influence.
Yet when those same forces turned on the diplomatic mission and overran it, killing Ambassador Stevens, the Obama administration initially suggested it could have been the result instead of mass, popular protests run amuck over a YouTube video critical of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad.
