Singer Tony Bennett Equates Isolated Gun Violence to Nazi Germany, Fears Foreign Invasion
Tony Bennett is one of America‘s most popular singers but he has proven once again that talent in the arts is no predictor of intelligence.
At a Wednesday press conference, the outspoken pacifist and ardent Democrat Bennett compared isolated gun deaths in the U.S. to Nazi concentration camps and said that if America did not do something to curtail violence in this country, the other countries would “take care of us in a really bad way,” just like they did in World War II to the Germans. Bizarre video and story below.
In a subsequent interview with CNN, Bennett declined to defend his comments but he did not distance himself from them either. Here’s what he said in full at the conference:
Gun Violence is Not a Republican Problem, It’s a Democratic Problem
Forget Wal-Mart and skip your local gun show. The murderers of tomorrow will not be found wearing orange vests at your local sporting goods store. They won’t have NRA memberships or trophies on their walls.
You won’t find them in America. Look for them in Obamerica.
67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas. The 62 cities in those metro areas have a firearm murder rate of 9.7, more than twice the national average. Among teenagers the firearm murder rate is 14.6 or almost three times the national average.
(GyG: First They came For The…..) ~ CNN’s Don Lemon On Gun Control: Should We Start Profiling White Men?
CNN’s Don Lemon discusses the possibility of profiling white men in an attempt to prevent gun violence and decrease the amount of mass shootings. Lemon argues that white males between the ages of 18 and 25 were behind nearly all recent mass killings.
On the panel: David Sirota, radio talk show host; Richard Moran, criminologist; Lou Palumbo, retired police detective and private security provider; and Tom Deets, gun store owner.
Quack Doctors Are Carriers of Social Disease!
Some highly respected doctors seemed to validate our suspicions about quack doctors when they declared after the Sikh shootings in Wisconsin, that gun violence is a social disease! I think the quack doctors are actually the carriers of social disease.
I would like to know if I had to shoot an intruder in my home at night would these doctors support my plea that I am not responsible since I am diseased? It might be a safer defense than “stand your ground.” The white-coated “experts” say that the disease pattern spreads “much like an infectious diseasecirculates.” The surprise is not that the stupid statement was made but that the hearers did not fall to the floor holding their sides in raucous laughter. One physician even said, “There’s sort of a contagion phenomenon” after a shooting, where people feel they need to have a gun for protection or retaliation.
Prison Planet.com » Something to Keep in Mind as Hysterical Gun-grabbers Attack the Second Amendment
In the hours, days and weeks ahead, we can expect a concerted attack on the right to own firearms and the Second Amendment in response to the shooting in Colorado last night. Proponents of disarming the public will argue that restricting the right to own firearms will prevent mass murders and violence.
But here’s something they will not tell you: the chance you will be a victim of a mass shooting is at best miniscule.
