Jane Pitt, mother of actor Brad Pitt, has been scared into silence by the hate-filled, vulgar and even violent reaction to her public assertion that Barack Obama is “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

Motion Picture Association of America CEO “confident” similar legislation will become lawSteve WatsonPrisonplanet.comApril 6, 2012Secret Plan Underway To Revive Internet Censorship Bill SOPAMotion Picture Association of America CEO and former Senator Chris Dodd has revealed perhaps more than he intended to in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter with regards to the much maligned Stop Online Piracy Act SOPA.Despite the fact that the legislation was indefinitely shelved in January, Dodd said he was “confident” that there are conversations going on between Hollywood and Silicon Valley to help revive SOPA.“Between now and sometime next year [after the presidential election], the two industries need to come to an understanding,” Dodd told the magazine. When asked whether there are negotiations going on now, Dodd replied:
“I’m confident that’s the case, but I’m not going to go into more detail because obviously if I do, it becomes counterproductive.
Is it not a rather strange coincidence that the man who blew ACORN out of the water and threatened to expose the mainstream media for its lies would suddenly drop dead of no known cause?
Andrew Breitbart had done what no other conservative had ever done: physically destroy an important bastion of radical-Alinsky activism. The radicals were pretty upset by Breitbart’s uncanny and stunning achievement, and they wondered what next he might do to mortally wound Obama’s chances of being reelected. Was Breitbart’s sudden death just a coincidence?

What is most disturbing about this story, apart from the obvious horror, is that not one news account reported what one witness said the shooter was screaming: “allahu akbar.” Not one news account. The media is the enemy.
Check out the video here. One of the witness states that the shooter was repeatedly shouting “allahu akbar” at minute 2:42. This video is on the bottom right of the LA Times new story, but they don’t mention it in their coverage — neither does Reuters, CBS news, The Hollywood Reporter, KFAI, or any of the other news reports. I expect that this video will be removed or edited.
UPDATED: Among those attending the morning gathering at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel were studio head Harvey Weinstein, UTA’s Rob Prinz, CAA managing partner and music head Rob Light, and ICM’s Chris Silbermann.
Before he left Los Angeles for San Francisco on Tuesday, President Barack Obama stopped for an undisclosed meeting with some of the entertainment industry’s high-level executives, as well as talent representatives with access to the industry’s top stars and musical acts, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Among the small group of industry insiders who were invited to attended the early-morning meeting with the president at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel were: Weinstein Co. studio head Harvey Weinstein, CAA managing partner and music head Rob Light, ICM president Chris Silbermann, Modern Family creator Steve Levitan, Atlantic Records chairman Craig Kallman, producer/songwriter Bruce Roberts, talent manger and producer Jason Weinberg, UTA music agent Rob Prinz, talent manager and producer Eric Ortner, Island Def Jam senior vice president Karen Kwak, Warner Bros. Records president Livia Tortella, talent manager Greg Mertz, ID PR publicists Kelly Bush and Mara Buxbaum, talent managers Bruce Flohr, Michael Green, Steve Moir and Bill Silva, Universial Music Publishing Group executive vice president and head of creative Tom Sturges, entertainment attorney Chuck Ortner and actor/activist Kal Penn.
The event was not a fundraiser, and attendees were not asked to donate to the Obama reelection campaign. But those invited have been ardent supporters of the president and were identified as “influencers” with the ability to help Obama shape the national political conversation heading into a tough race in 2012.
