Elections alone won’t get it done…

These are desperate times, with Barack Obama destroying the country, so it’s understandable. Believe me, no one wants to see him removed from office more than me – an office he is neither eligible nor worthy to hold.

But the bad news is it will take more than a worthy opponent in November to restore America to the vision of its founders and to the unique promise it once offered as a shining city on a hill.

Joseph de Maistre said back in the early 19th century that a nation gets the kind of leaders it deserves – certainly those nations where the people are permitted to do so.
