This Is How We Resist *Video*

It should be clear by now that the Federal government, through various agencies like the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, is rapidly moving towards a legal model that aims to strip fundamental rights traditionally protected by the Constitution of the United States.
The Second Amendment is and has been under fire for quite some time, but what many Americans fail to realize is that the attack on our right to bear arms is only part of a much broader plan, one that aims to quietly kill any semblance of liberty we have left.
The Fourth Amendment, which protects an individual’s right to be secure in their own person and home is as important as the right to speak freely and defend one’s self, yet it is being eroded without respite.
At some point in the last couple of decades there was a shift in how the justice system deals with average citizens. No longer is there a presumption of innocence on the part of police or prosecutors. In the eyes of the government, we’re all guilty of something, a position that has left countless Americans imprisoned or dead for no other reason than the arresting officer or government attorney wanting to stroke their ego or increase their conviction rate.

H. L. Mencken correctly observed:

IS THIS MAN, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD, MENTALLY ILL? (Photo credit: SS&SS)
Government is actually the worst failure of civilized man. There has never been a really good one, and even those that are most tolerable are arbitrary, cruel, grasping and unintelligent.
Mencken also was prescient:
What’s mine should be mine: Ruling makes it illegal to unlock your phone
Think you own your wireless handset, inside and out? Think you can do whatever you wish with your own property? Think again. Beginning Saturday, it will become illegal to unlock a phone without the express permission of the carrier who locked it.
While the relevant portion of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act legalizes jailbreaking for three years, it also makes it illegal to unlock new, locked wireless handsets (without the permission of the previous carrier). Exemptions include “legacy phones” (“used (or perhaps unused) phones previously purchased or otherwise acquired by a consumer”).
It’s about more than guns… (“We are not witnessing incompetence, but the fulfillment of an agenda generations in the making. A century ago our Republic experienced a coup in the form of a monetary takeover through the creation of the Federal Reserve, followed by a consolidation of power through the IRS”)
By Doug Hagmann Thursday, January 10, 2013
The warning signs of a tyrannical takeover of our Constitutional Republic have been flashing red for some time now and are now reaching a fever pitch. Despite the flashing signs, the clamor of the alarms and the cries of the watchmen, most Americans of this era remain in denial or have been rendered intellectually catatonic by busily chasing immediate gratification in the form of the newest version of the iPhone, iPad, or whatever “i” device will satisfy their ADHD addled intellect.
Others have simply chosen to adhere to a normalcy bias that is continuously fed by the familiar faces and voices of political pundits who remain dedicated to the lie of the right-left, Republican-Democrat paradigm of American politics, unwilling or unable to look at the larger picture for fear of being shamed by accusations of being part of a conspiracy fringe. Instead, these pundits would rather ignore the lie and squander their ability to make a difference, to educate and inform others of the dangers of the lie they know exists.
We must realize that we are not witnessing the fundamental change of America as represented by the mindless mantra of the Obama campaign, but something much deeper, much more nefarious, and something that will not be rectified through the ballot box. As uncomfortable as it is, what we face cannot and will not wait for the next general election.
Actions have consequences, but so does inaction.

The elite’s plan for the future doesn’t include you
The global elite has reached a decision that
could spell the end of humanity as we know it in the decades to come. Having become superfluous in the eyes of those who plan to impose a technocracy over the entire planet, robots will be used to both replace and eliminate humans as the elite advances towards its much cherished technological singularity.

The rise of the robots is no longer confined to the realms of science fiction. If the predictions of those who have already proven themselves accurate in forecasting the future course of technological development are manifested, a new high-tech dark age is upon us.
Here’s How Facebook Is Tracking Your Internet Activity | Spies and Intelligence

Here’s How Facebook Is Tracking Your Internet Activity
Facebook really is watching your every move online.
In testing out the new AbineDNT+ tool, we noticed that Facebook has more than 200 “trackers” watching our internet activity.
Abine defines trackers as “a request that a webpage tries to make your browser perform that will share information intended to record, profile, or share your online activity.” The trackers come in the shape of cookies, Javascript, 1-pixel beacons, and Iframes.
Why Is the Government Collecting Your Biometric Data?
Electronic Frontier Foundation‘s Jennifer Lynch discusses the expansion of biometric data collection, the growth of databases and the impact on increased surveillance.
The next time you get pulled over, watch for a blocky, black gadget attached to the officer’s iPhone. That’s the MORIS device, one of many mobile fingerprint and biometric scanners proliferating in police departments around the country. MORIS is designed to ascertain identity and dig up an unsavory past, but that’s not all: the device can also gather iris scans, fingerprints, and photos searchable with face recognition technology.

According to Dr. Boian Alexandrov at the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, terahertz (THz) waves destroy human DNA.
The waves literally unzip the helix strand. Now a team of technologists at UT Dallas are planning to take chips broadcasting THz waves and embed them into mobile phones for use as an imaging system for consumers, law enforcement and medical personnel… a potentially deadly technology that could eventually kill or sicken millions of people

By Daniel Greenfield Wednesday, May 23, 2012
The question isn’t, “What is Facebook worth?”, the real question is what are we worth? The secret of Facebook is that there is no Facebook, just reams of user data, information voluntarily submitted by hundreds of millions of people in exchange for a free ride, which is monetized by a company that makes nothing except increasingly broken code, by selling ads to companies hoping to convince consumers to buy the products manufactured by their Chinese partners.

They’re kidding, right?
India wants to set up a system whereby the United Nations would rule the Internet.
The Internet is governed by “a voluntary, multi-stakeholder group called ICANN or Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.” This group, headquartered in California, ensures that the Internet is free and mostly decentralized. ICANN has a Government Advisory Council (GAC), and invites governments across the world, including India, to participate.
But that is not good enough for India, which wants to set up a different system wherein the United Nations would rule the Internet.
The details of this effort are alarming. Be sure to click this link, read the piece, and let your congressional reps know what you think.
In neighboring Pakistan, the Ministry of Information Technology blocked access to Twitter for what it says was “blasphemous material posted by users” on the social networking site. Another official said “the ban would be lifted after ongoing discussions between the Pakistan government and Twitter about the allegedly blasphemous material are resolved,” according to a Reuters report. The ban was subsequently lifted after several hours.

Young Americans turn away from driving
Young Americans are eschewing cars for alternative transport, leaving carmakers to wonder if this is a recession-induced trend or a permanent shift in habits.
For generations of American teenagers, the car was the paramount symbol of independence. But in the age of Facebook and iPhones, young adults are getting fewer drivers’ licences, driving less frequently and moving to cities where cars are more luxury than necessity.

RUSH: Now, if there is anybody in this audience listening that writes for an Apple or high-tech blog — or if there is anybody listening to this program that works for or at Apple, Incorporated — you have to hear what happened to me this morning. Sadly, I can’t prove it. (interruption) Well, you’ll hear why in a moment. I was so discombobulated by what happened that I didn’t save what showed up on my iPhone. Now, let me describe my setup for you. I have a car that has a Bluetooth mating system in it. So my iPhone is paired with the Bluetooth system, which means that I can use hands-free operation. Everybody does this, probably. No big deal there.
I also drive around with a Verizon LTE hotspot because Verizon’s turned on LTE here which is 20 megabytes down. So I don’t use AT&T’s 4G, I don’t use cellular when I’m driving around. I use Wi-Fi. This hotspot from Verizon converts the LTE signal to Wi-Fi and that’s how I connect the iPhone. So my system is my phone paired with the car’s Bluetooth provided by the manufacturer, and it is also connected via Wi-Fi to a Verizon LTE hotspot. Now, the way Apple iPhone dictation works is you hit the microphone button on your keyboard, and that immediately establishes an online connection with Apple servers somewhere.

A god of our age – Who was Steve Jobs?
Rosebud.
Seventy years ago Orson Welles directed Citizen Kane, which critics still praise as the most innovative film ever. Welles modeled the main character, Kane, on a famous northern California magnate who revolutionized the media of his day, William Randolph Hearst.
“Rosebud” was Kane’s dying declaration, and the narrative structure of the film emphasized the work of a reporter trying to figure out the meaning of that word and the meaning of Kane’s life. Everyone he interviewed saw Kane through the prism of his own preoccupations. The reporter ended up much like the blind man feeling different parts of the elephant and thinking he’s in the presence of a tree trunk, a snake—or something else.
When Steve Jobs died on Oct. 5, newspapers and airwaves (along with iPhones and iPads) were flush with accounts of the Apple founder’s life and legacy—but each biographer seemed to recreate Jobs in the beholder’s own image:
Those wanting a classic American success story described Jobs as the college dropout who co-created the first user-friendly computer and became a multimillionaire at age 25.
Those crafting a moral tale about never giving up…..

A Biblical Perspective on Steve Jobs’ Death
Steve Jobs the technology genius, co-founder of Apple and billionaire past on into ETERNITY today surrounded by his loved ones. Jobs -who was suffering from pancreatic cancer for some time – finally lost his battle Wednesday. During Mr. Jobs’ existence – in this brief and temporal life – his career spanned more than three-decades in which he revolutionized the computer industry. Mr. Jobs transformed Silicon Valley into a technology innovational center. Also to his credit Jobs laid the ground work for the computer industry alongside others like Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates. Mr. Jobs played a huge part in transforming the way the world interacts with technology and his Apple products were the most desired by the masses.
The most productive era in Mr. Jobs’ career took place near the end of his life. It was in this period when Job’s brought forth products like the iPod, iPhone and iPad which changed the PC, electronics and digital-media industries. The manner in which Jobs marketed and sold Apple products helped turn Apple into a pop-culture phenomenon.

Police assisted Apple in search of man’s home
Apple‘s team searched the home, car and computer files, while police waited outside, the reports say. The investigators reportedly told the man that they had traced the phone’s GPS signal to his house. When asked, he said he had been at the same bar where the phone was reportedly lost but that he didn’t have it, the report says.
One of the investigators, who identified himself as Tony, gave the man living in the house a phone number and told him to call with any information about the lost phone, the report says. When the SF Weekly reporter called, a man named Anthony Colon, who said he was an Apple employee, answered, the report says.
Colon’s LinkedIn profile, which he eventually removed, said he is a senior investigator for Apple and a former San Jose police sergeant.
The man, who reportedly said he’s a U.S. citizen who lives with relatives, told SF Weekly that the people searching his home questioned his family’s immigration status.
Apple has a history of working with REACT but apparently did not seek its services this time. The task force has struggled recently over budget constraints, prompting the organization to shut down an office and employ fewer officers, Sterner said.
Nor did Apple enlist the Federal Bureau of Investigation. An FBI spokesman said the cyber-program leader was not aware of such an investigation.

Lost iPhone 5: Bernal Heights Man Says Visitors Impersonating Police Searched His Home (Exclusive):
Update (3:25 p.m.): Police now say they did assist Apple security with the home search of a Bernal Heights man. Read the full story here.
A Bernal Heights man says that six officials claiming to be San Francisco Police officers questioned him and searched his family’s home in July for a lost iPhone 5 prototype they asserted had been traced to the residence using GPS technology.
The man’s statements to SF Weekly in an exclusive interview add significant new twists to the unfolding story of the unreleased iPhone 5 that was reportedly lost at a San Francisco restaurant this summer.
If accurate, his account raises the possibility that Apple security personnel attempting to recover the prototype falsely represented themselves as police officers — a criminal act punishable by up to a year in jail in the state of California — or that SFPD employees colluding with Apple failed to properly report an extensive search of a person’s home, car, and computer.
“This is something that’s going to need to be investigated now,” SFPD spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield said, when informed about the Bernal Heights man’s statements to SF Weekly. “If this guy is saying that the people said they were SFPD, that’s a big deal.”……………….

New Hampshire Moves to Criminalize TSA Grope-down Procedures
New Hampshire may soon criminalize the TSA’s intrusive pat-downs and naked body porno scanners as sexual assault.Debate has moved forward on HB628-FN, a bill that would make “the touching or viewing with a technological device of a person’s breasts or genitals by a government security agent without probable cause a sexual assault,” according to WMUR in Manchester.
“Let’s put their name on the sex offender registry, and maybe that will tell them New Hampshire means business,” said bill co-sponsor Rep. Andrew Manuse, R-Derry.“That is a crime in this state, and we should charge them every single time,” added bill co-sponsor Rep.
George Lambert, R-Litchfield.TSA officials did not comment on the legislation. They insist so-called airport security checkpoints are under federal jurisdiction.
“We have to understand that if things need to be changed, they have to be done at the federal level, not the state level,” said Democrat Rep. Audio: CBS reporters plot hit piece on GOP candidate
Reporters from a CBS affiliate in Anchorage, Alaska, allegedly left a voicemail by mistake at the campaign of the state’s Republican nominee for Senate, Joe Miller, in which the journalists can be heard plotting to “find” a “child molester” among the politician’s supporters. The reporters are also overheard hoping for violence against Miller so they can “send out a tweet” and Facebook alert that “Miller got punched” at a rally he held four days ago.
The apparent accidental voicemail message was left on the cell phone of Miller’s spokesperson, Randy DeSoto. In the recording, the assignment editor for the CBS Anchorage affiliate, KTVA, Nick McDermott, along with other reporters, can be heard openly discussing concocting the two stories about Miller.DeSoto says the voicemail message was later authenticated by McDermott himself, who sent a text to the Miller spokesman stating, “D— iPhone … I left you a long message. I thought I hung up. Sorry.”"Frankly, when I first heard this I was shocked,” said DeSoto. “Though a bit garbled at times, there are disturbing comments in this conservation that never should have occurred.”According to the Miller campaign, another voice in the message was that of KTVA’s news director.
A recording of the audio can be heard below:Story continues below In the first portion of the discussion, the CBS reporters are heard plotting to get a list of Miller campaign supporters in order to “find” a “child molester.”"You have to find that one person,” says the male reporter, seemingly McDermott, to laughter in the news room.
Sarah Palin Blasts Media as “Corrupt bastards club”

Is there a legitimate down-side to using Google stuff? [vanity]
I find myself relying more and more on Google services on the web. As the internet giant increases the quantity and quality of their various web-based solutions, I can’t help but gravitate to their use on a daily basis. They’re an excellent tool for web geeks like myself on so many levels—not the least of which is the fact that everything is FREE and requires only my browser to easily generate some stunningly beautiful and simple problem-solving sites.
Gmail is free and I can register multitudes of accounts for myself and clients. Google Voice let me select a local phone number that’s easier to remember than my home, work or cell.
I can route any calls through GV to whatever phone is convenient to me. I can customize contact groups and give each a different greeting or routing option. I used it yesterday to call my Dad long distance with my computer for free.A recent offering is Google Sites which I have used to build some totally kick-butt websites for various groups I help organize like church groups, boy scout troop and sports teams. Within each, I can inject various forms, graphics and other documents.
I don’t know what we’d do without our family Google Calendars for organizing everything from sports games & practices, church events, appointments, trips, birthdays, school my son’s school even provides an RSS feed that plugs right in seamlessly, and even meal-planning. This all syncs with my own computer’s calendar program, but I find myself using that one less and less.
I even subscribed to several sports teams’ RSS to alert me of upcoming televised games. And I can access, update, upload, download and modify any of this anywhere I can log on to the internet—including an iPhone if I had one.

DOD will send its cyber analysts to work on DHS’s National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center NCCIC — a 24-hour incident response center that opened in October 2009. DHS, meanwhile, will send a senior staffer – as well as a support team of DHS privacy, civil liberties and legal personnel — to work at DOD’s National Security Agency. This latest effort to get the government involved in your daily internet travel and eventually snoop your every move compliments a proposed “cybersecurity” bill that would give Obama the ability to shut down the internet in response to a false flag attack on networks or some other contrived emergency.So-called “cybersecurity” is a red herring. For months now the government has performed a theatrical Chicken Little schtick claiming al-CIA-duh and other miscreants will attack and bring down the power grid in the United States. Dire scenarios of blacked out big screen televisions and dormant iPhones have circulated via the corporate media.
