Seventeen years ago yesterday, Hillary Clinton got her first practice in publicly blowing off the death of a government official she had dispatched on a dubious mission to a war-torn corner of the world.

 

In the weeks and months that followed, Hillary honed her arts of deception, delay and double-dealing and tested the media’s tolerance for the same.

 

What she and Bill had to conclude was that in a year in which a Democrat was running for re-election, a sycophantic media could be very tolerant indeed.

Some background: On April 3, 1996, then-Commerce Secretary Ron Brown and 34 others died when their Air Force plane crashed into a Croatian mountainside.

 

Brown’s flight left the Tuzla airport in Bosnia, a Muslim country. As in Libya, not everyone in Bosnia was thrilled by America’s intervention, and some were downright hostile to the American presence.

 

For no good reason, Hillary had made an unanticipated stop in Tuzla – without Bill – just a few days before Brown’s fatal flight.

Before voting to confirm, Republicans in the Senate may want to question Brennan about the role he played in Obama’s 2008 campaign, specifically his potential involvement in the multiple breaches of the presidential candidates’ passport records in March of 2008.

The Washington Post headlined the story on March 22, 2008, “Rice Apologizes For Breach of Passport Data; Employees Looked at Files On Obama, Clinton, McCain.”

 

The “Rice” in question was Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. The offended party in the Post story was Barack Obama. He told reporters that he expected “a full and thorough investigation,” one that “should be done in conjunction with those congressional committees that have oversight function so it’s not simply an internal matter.”

It’s already been discussed that Barack Obama’s eulogy at Senator Inouy’s memorial in Washington DC was a tribute to himself and not the late Hawaiian senator. Obama spoke for 10 minutes about himself and his life story, barely mentioning the life of Senator Inouye.

But it’s worse than that. Barack Obama distorted his life story in order to include Senator Inouye in his talk. Jack Cashill at American Thinker reported:

Here is what I wrote about this narrative hole in my book Deconstructing Obama: “Given Remnick’s list of the allowable ways to interpret Dreams — verifiable fact, recollection, recreation, invention, and artful shaping — I choose ‘D’ for the mystery woman, ‘invention.’ In the absence of any contrary information, best evidence argues for a creation largely of Ayers’ contrivance.”

Ayers’ great lost love, Diana Oughton, a Weatherwoman killed in a 1970 bomb blast, matches the brief description of this woman in Dreams even better than Cook does, right down to the “specks of green” in her eyes and a multi-generational estate with a lake in the middle. “The house was very old, her grandfather’s house,” Obama writes of his girlfriend’s country home. “He had inherited it from his grandfather.” In real life, Oughton’s father’s grandfather built the main house on their estate, a 20-room Victorian mansion, which is now on the national historic register.

Google links ‘Dreams’ to unrepentant terrorist

Unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers has been coy about the case made by WND columnist Jack Cashill that he is the true author of Barack Obama’s highly acclaimed memoir “Dreams from My Father.”

Now, Google apparently is on board with Ayers’ authorship of the award-winning book.

A search on Ayers’ named in Google’s books section lists “Dreams” among his works.

“Google knows so much about us already that privacy activists are alarmed. What data are its algorithms sifting through to come to the conclusions that yes, the stylistic parallels to Ayers’ other books are formidable and Barry never showed any sign of an ability to write this way before or after,” writes Thomas Lifson at American Thinker.”

Lifson points out that Christopher Anderson’s “friendly biography” of the Obamas “includes the information that Obama found himself deeply in debt and ‘hopelessly blocked.’ At ‘Michelle’s urging,’ Obama ‘sought advice from his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers.’”

In his disingenuous State of the Union speech, President Barack Obama called for “a return to the American values of fair play and shared responsibility,” a theme he repeated throughout the speech.

“We can either settle for a country where a shrinking number of people do really well while a growing number of Americans barely get by,” said the president, “or we can restore an economy where everyone gets a fair shot, and everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same set of rules.”

Fair shot? Fair share? Same set of rules? Not so fast. A 2006 article by publisher Peter Osnos sheds a different light altogether on our Robin Hood president.

As Osnos relates, a 1990 New York Times profile on the Harvard Law Review’s first black president caught the eye of hustling young literary agent Jane Dystel.

A few years back, the Harvard-educated Paul Mirecki, then head of the Religious Studies Department at Kansas University, proposed a new class.

His goal, as he told his cohorts in an atheist and agnostic chat room, was to give “fundies” — i.e., orthodox Christians — “a nice slap in their big fat face by teaching [intelligent design] as a religious studies class under the category ‘mythology.’”

Mirecki did not expect any pushback from KU. “The majority of my colleagues here in the dept [sic] are agnostics or atheists, or they just don’t care,” wrote Mirecki. “If any of them are theists, it hasn’t been obvious to me in the 15 years I’ve been here.”

Unwittingly, Mirecki opened a window on the world of religious scholarship. At least since Darwin, cynics like Mirecki have been working to subvert Christianity under the guise of religious studies. The notorious, 150-scholar strong “Jesus Seminar” would seem to have no higher calling.

As the record will show, however, the subversives have not succeeded. The story of Jesus’s birth, as well as his death, remains as rooted in the historical record as it was before these researchers began their unholy labors.

It is widely held that Barack Obama, Sr., goat herder from Kenya, is the father of President Obama. We now know that this contention is probably false.

In Obama’s autobiography, Dreams from My Father, he identifies Barack Obama, Sr. as his father. This book has been the primary source of information for all who have written about him. Yet two strong supporters of the president — David Remnick, author of The Bridge, a biography of Obama, and Janny Scott, author of A Singular Woman, a biography of Ann Dunham — have expressed doubts about the factual basis of Dreams:

Remnick: “Obama’s memoir is a mixture of verifiable fact, recollection, recreation, invention and artful shaping.”

Scott: “He gives his account of his parents’ fleeting coming together and breaking apart in language and cadences reminiscent of those of folk tales or myths.”

Thanks to Jack Cashill, we now know that Dreams from My Father was in large part a creation of Obama’s neighbor and unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, a man more interested in a “narrative” than in history. So, as a practical matter, when trying to determine the truth about Obama’s origins, everything from Dreams must be considered suspect.

“I’m Winston Wolf. I solve problems,” so says the professional fixer in Quentin Tarantino’s oddball classic, “Pulp Fiction.”

In the film, Wolf acknowledges the problem at hand and sets out to solve it, “Now you got a corpse in a car, minus a head, in a garage. Take me to it.”

The Obama White House, like the Clinton White House before it, has its own Winston Wolf. His name is Eric Holder, attorney general, and this month’s corpse in the car goes by the name “Fast and Furious.”

If Holder seems untroubled, it is because he has been solving problems for a long time, starting with his appointment as U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia in 1993.

Holder became the Clintons’ fixer-in-chief on July 18, 1997, the day he replaced Jamie Gorelick as deputy attorney general.

As reward for her role in solving the TWA Flight 800 problem, Gorelick got the most plum job in Washington, the vice chairmanship of Fannie Mae, a sinecure that would pay her $25.4 million over the next six years.

Holder had to know why the Clintons hired him to replace Gorelick. Like her, he would handle the dirty work they would not trust to Holder’s nominal boss, Janet Reno.

In her new biography of Ann Dunham, A Singular Woman, New York Times reporter Janny Scott corrupts Barack Obama’s nativity story even more than a cynic might have thought possible. In so doing, Scott follows an ignoble media tradition that deserves exposure as does the story that it corrupts.

At the very first moment of his national acclaim, the 2004 keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention, Barack Obama established the foundational myth of his political ascendancy.

In February of 1941, Malcolm Little moved to the Boston suburb of Roxbury to live with his half-sister, Ella Little Collins. Interestingly, another resident of Roxbury at that time was a young man named Louis Eugene Walcott. Both Ella Little and Louis Walcott lost their fathers. Did these common factors bring them together at some point?

The question is important, because the young Mr. Walcott would later become known as Louis Farrakhan.

Shortly after the young Malcolm Little moved to Roxbury with his half-sister, he got a job working on the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad (often simply called the New Haven Railroad).

He worked for that company intermittently over the years. Ella also worked for the railroad. The railroad runs between Boston and New York City — two of several places where Malcolm Little got into criminal trouble. When not getting into trouble, Malcolm Little would’ve had time to get to know the lay of the land while working on the railroad.

About halfway between Boston and New York is a small town called Newington, Connecticut.

That little town ended up with another unusual claim to fame. It is the source of the Social Security number that ended up on the illegal Selective Service registration of Barack Hussein Obama II.

The number is likely also on a number of other documents of interest, such as Obama’s records from Occidental College.

On “The Sean Hannity Show” Friday night and at a Florida tea-party rally Saturday, Donald Trump elaborated on the charge that he has been making the past two weeks, namely that Bill Ayers helped write Barack Obama’s acclaimed 1995 memoir, “Dreams From My Father.”

Yet despite what Obama-friendly biographer David Remnick had previously called the “diabolical potency” of the charge, the mainstream media have resolutely failed to investigate its accuracy.

Trump all but dares them. At both stops, he emphasized the point that I make in “Deconstructing Obama”: As Trump put it to Hannity, “Without that book, [Obama] is not president.”

“Dreams” was essential to Obama’s ascendancy as “Profiles in Courage” was to John F. Kennedy’s. It served as the foundation of the genius myth on which Obama’s campaign was based.

“[Obama's] whole aura was caused by the genius of the first book,” Trump said accurately on Saturday, “which was written by Bill Ayers.”

Trump also told Hannity that “the guy who wrote the first book didn’t write the second book ['Audacity of Hope'].”

This is a point that Ayers had himself implied a few weeks back at Montclair State University when he praised “Dreams” – and claimed credit for writing it, albeit with a wink – but dismissed “Audacity” as a “political hack book.”

Donald Trump’s recent comments calling for President Obama to show his birth certificate have brought added pressure on him to do so, because it seems to have been the impetus for at least some discussion of it in the mainstream media. But in reality, the unwillingness of Obama to release his original, long-form birth certificate is just one piece of much larger narrative that brings into question much of Obama’s past.

In an exclusive interview with Accuracy in Media, journalist and author Jack Cashill recently discussed his new book, Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves and Letters of America’s First Postmodern President. In it, Cashill makes a convincing case that Obama did not write the two books that helped launch his candidacy, Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope. He argues that Dreams was actually written by William Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist who was a founder of the communist Weather Underground.

Through comparative writing samples, comments at unguarded moments by Ayers, and reporting by author Christopher Andersen in his book Barack and Michelle: Portrait of An American Marriage, Cashill is very persuasive. By comparing Obama’s book to Ayers’ book, Fugitive Days: A Memoir, Cashill finds examples of the same unlikely spelling errors in each, a number of the same listed literary influences, and similar qualities and features in the writing that are understandable for Ayers, but not likely at all, according to Cashill’s analysis, for Obama.

” If the “birthers” are nuts — as Establishment pooh-bahs like George Will profess to believe — how come the so-called “certificate of live birth” released online by the Obama team in 2008 doesn’t list the name of the Honolulu hospital at which the future president is said to have been born.

My birth certificate lists the hospital. Doesn’t yours? Have you ever seen a birth certificate that doesn’t include the hospital’s name?

And when lawyers in Kenya trying to track down anyone who might have a claim on the estate of Barack Obama Sr. contacted Obama’s mother for the usual birth-certificate information about her son, how come she couldn’t provide it?

By the way, Cashill pulls this troubling, but little-noticed incident, right out of Dreams.

Also interesting — or is “explosive” the better word.

Friend says Abercrombie told him, ‘There is no birth certificate!’

During an interview on the KQRS morning radio show on January 20, Mike Evans, a long-time friend of Hawaii governor Neil Abercrombie, shared a conversation he had with the governor the day prior. The reader is advised to judge for himself the credibility of Evans’ account, but he sounds convincing.

Evans, Honolulu born and now a Hollywood-based celebrity journalist, claimed that Abercrombie had promised him that he when he became governor, he planned to find absolute proof that Obama was born in Hawaii.

When Evans spoke to Abercrombie on January 19, Abercrombie reportedly told him that he searched the relevant Hawaii hospitals using his powers as governor, and concluded, according to Evans, “There is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii, absolutely no proof at all that Obama was born in Hawaii.” After Abercrombie made such a fuss about finding the birth certificate, Evans concluded of his friend that he has “got some egg in the face.”

Curiously too, when Evans asked Abercrombie when he first encountered the young Barack Obama, Abercrombie reportedly said, “I remember him playing in a T-Ball league,” when he was roughly five or six years old.

The reader may recall that Abercrombie had told the Los Angeles Times just before Christmas, “Maybe I’m the only one in the country that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.’”

A few days later, Abercrombie clarified to Mark Niesse of the Associated Press that he didn’t exactly see Obama’s parents with their newborn son at the hospital, but that he “remembers seeing Obama as a child with his parents at social events.” Of course, Obama Sr. had left for Harvard four years before young Barack was T-Ball eligible.

For reasons clear to no one just yet, Hawaii’s new Democrat governor, Neil Abercrombie, has gone public with his desire to silence the so-called “birthers” with proof of Barack Obama’s Hawaiian birth.

“Maybe I’m the only one in the country,” Abercrombie told the Los Angeles Times just before Christmas, “that could look you right in the eye right now and tell you, ‘I was here when that baby was born.’”

A few days later, Abercrombie clarified to Mark Niesse of the Associated Press that he didn’t exactly see Obama’s parents with their newborn son at the hospital, but that he “remembers seeing Obama as a child with his parents at social events.”

Although the major media have questioned why Abercrombie would raise an issue that, according to the Los Angeles Times, “most people see as resolved,” they take Abercrombie at his word as to what he knows about the young Obama family.

They shouldn’t. Abercrombie’s boasts about his relationship with the president’s presumed parents, Barack Obama, Sr. and Ann Dunham, have got to unnerve the president and his close advisors. They know something the media perversely choose not to know: Abercrombie is remembering a past that never happened.

A member of the House’s progressive caucus before his election as governor, Abercrombie has been talking excitedly about the relationship for years, playing John the Baptist to Obama’s Jesus.
