(Gunny G: How Many Today Have Even Heard of Him?) ~ A Forgotten Man: Congressman Larry McDonald | Real Life and Death: the interplay of Bible, Israel, America
Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives who represented the seventh congressional district of Georgia. His voting record in Congress was consistently conservative; he was one of the most outspoken opponents of Communism in Congress. He also opposed what he believed to be a conspiratorial attempt by powerful elements within U.S government and business circles to further a one world socialist society within America.

…..KAL Flight 007 was shot down by the Russians on September 1, 1983. Allegedly all 269 passengers including United States Congressman Larry McDonald perished. After spending a substantial amount of research time, I am convinced that not only did the passengers survive, but since some of them were young children, they are likely still alive. Where are they? Bush’s pal, former KGB spy, Vlad Putin has them. You’ve heard of the KGB haven’t you? Let me do a short recap here:

“At precisely ten o’clock, the South Korean minister of foreign affairs announced that he had received confirmation from the CIA that “the plane had landed at Sakhalin. The crew and passengers are safe.” Pg. 4, Incident at Sakhalin. “Let us examine the CIA announcement about which so much as been written: The aircraft did not explode in flight and did not crash, but is known to have landed on Sakhalin. The passengers and crew are safe and the aircraft is undamaged.” Pg. 5, Incident at Sakhalin
“Seoul, South Korea (UPI) – A Korean Air Lines jumbo jet flying from New York to Seoul Wednesday with 269 people aboard, including a U.S. Congressman, was forced to land on Sakhalin, a Soviet-occupied island north of Japan, the government-run television said “The passengers were reported safe. Among them was Rep. Larry McDonald, D-GA., John Birch society chairman, whose spokesman said in Washington that American officials believed the jet was forced down by Soviet or North Korean fighter planes. A report on the Korean Broadcasting System said Thursday the CIA had informed the Seoul government of the landing on the Soviet-occupied island about 850 miles north of Tokyo…
“KAL Vice President Cho Choong-keun said he was told the plane landed safely. Cho flew immediately to Tokyo to join negotiations for the return of the passengers, crew and airplane from the island, which was occupied by the Soviet Union after WWII. He said he would attempt to reach Sakhalin by way of Sapporo.”

According to JBS material I found on-line: In 1979, Gen. Patton’s cousin, Congressman Lawrence McDonald, founded the Western Goals Foundation in Arlington, Virginia as a front for the JBS intelligence network. McDonald directed the organization until his untimely death in the downing of the Korean airliner, KAL 007 in 1983, the year he also succeeded Robert Welch as JBS Chairman. Western Goals was discontinued in 1986 following a power struggle for McDonald’s position.

“The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.

Congressman Larry McDonald on Crossfire, May 1983, just three months before being killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets near Moneron Island after the plane entered Soviet airspace.

The State Department Cover-Up Of KAL Flight 007
By Todd Brendan Fahey
8-29-03
It is a story that no one wants to talk about anymore.
Neither by ideological colleagues Congressman Bob Stump (R-AZ) and former Senator Steve Symms (R-ID), nor from any quarter of the State Department: the assassination on September 1, 1983, of a United States Congressman aboard a passenger airliner at the hands of Soviet fighter jets. A southern Democrat lawmaker, who was also jointly Chairman of the John Birch Society and President of Western Goals Foundation, both famously anti-Globalist/anti-communist organizations, and who had announced to his advisors in the weeks prior to his death that he would be seeking the Presidency of the United States–as a conservative Democrat–in 1988. A cousin of WWII hero General George S. Patton, and who had inherited Patton’s mountain of anti-Soviet Intelligence records; who had organized a private Intelligence network which threatened to rival that of the CIA–at once commanding, polished on-the-stump and movie-star handsome: …the kind of man who could seriously derail the Presidential aspirations of George Herbert Walker Bush, the elder.
In Wake of Tucson, Media Ignores Rep. Larry McDonald…
In the midst of one American tragedy, another one is being ignored. Following the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and the murder of several others in Tucson, the mainstream media has stolidly preserved a blackout about the last U.S. congressman to be killed in the line of duty — U.S. Representative Larry McDonald (D-Ga.).
Larry McDonald — An American Hero Remembered
…Aside from his political activism, Dr. McDonald was also a noted surgeon at the McDonald Urological Clinic. He served as acting Chairman of the Georgia State Medical Board, was a charter member of the Economic Monetary Investment Research Society, and served on the Economic Committee of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Almost three months before his fateful flight, McDonald succeeded Robert Welch as leader of the John Birch Society. Around the same time, Congressman McDonald was also appointed chairman of the Special Operation Forces Panel of the House Armed Services Committee.
While McDonald was en route to give his speech in Seoul, Soviet fighter jets identified and fired upon his plane over Soviet airspace. While he and the rest of the passengers were presumed killed, their eventual fate has been the subject of several conflicting reports. For example, in the years following the shootdown, evidence has arisen suggesting that flight KAL 007 was either forced down or safely crash-landed on Sakhalin Island, off the east coast of the Soviet Union just northwest of Japan.
In 1991, Robert W. Lee of The New American wrote an extensive article in which he explored what may have happened to the plane and its surviving passengers. Today Bert Schlossberg runs a website dedicated to the victims of flight 007, in which he also addresses the possible fate and whereabouts of the survivors, including Larry McDonald. Schlossberg also discusses the fate of the plane and its passengers in his book Rescue 007.
There can be no dispute, however, about McDonald’s distinguished role as one of the leading American patriots of the 20th Century.
Twenty-seven years later, Larry McDonald has yet to be bestowed the recognition he deserves in history, an oversight that we hope can begin to change as more Americans continue to learn about him and take the time to honor him on September 1st…..
