A Fox News poll released Wednesday finds that while 26 percent of voters say their health care situation will be better under the new law, twice as many — 53 percent — say it will be worse. Another 13 percent say it won’t make a difference.
…Young voters and seniors are pessimistic about ObamaCare. Majorities of those under age 35 and those 65+ think things will be worse under the 2010 health care law.
That helps explains why a 56-percent majority wants to go back to the health care system that was in place in 2009. Some 34 percent would stick with the new law. LINK

Recklessly, without reading my original article to learn what I actually said, several news sources re-printed a reporter’s distortion of my article.Folks, I have no problem standing up for what I believe or even being hated for it. But, the media had thousands hating me for something I never said. Associates became nervous about being associated with me. Public figures began denouncing me.
It was a very stressful situation. My stress did not come from the Left hating me.

From March 18-28 the United Nations will again meet with an updated draft to try to finalize passage of its Small Arms Treaty. However it doesn’t seem to be a story, despite being less than 24 hours away. Conservative blogs and sites are as guilty as the Mainstream Media. Almost no one is speaking out against a Treaty that has the ability to change America, and the world as we know it, forever.
To give credit where credit is due I will say that the NRA has not dropped this fight. It just seems that most everyone else views it as a non-story. As of this morning I found six total sources reporting the story within the last two days. I consider that unacceptable. Here is a quote from NRA opposes U.N. arms treaty, which was published earlier today in The Washington Post:

So now the mainstream media has decided that mocking the movement is the best strategy, and lots of “critics” and “skeptics” out there have picked up on this trend. Instead of addressing the very real issues that have caused millions of Americans to prepare for the worst, those criticizing the prepper movement attempt to put the focus on individual personalities.
They try to find the strangest nutjobs they possibly can and then hold them up as “typical preppers”. The goal is to portray preppers as tinfoil hat wearing freaks that need to be locked up in the loony bin for their own personal safety and for the good of society. The criticism of preppers has really ramped up in recent months, and it will likely get even worse in 2013. The establishment does not like any movement that is outside of their control, and the prepper movement is definitely not under their control.

It would be nice if the mainstream media would do a lot more true investigative reporting and would actually try to answer some of the difficult questions that we are being faced with. Unfortunately, most of what passes for “news” these days is essentially just “infotainment”. That is one of the reasons why we have seen such a surge in the popularity of alternative news outlets in recent years. People are searching for the truth, and they know that they are not getting much of it from the mainstream media these days.

Forgive the vanity post…I firmly believe that Obama was the chosen one by his mentors, the powers that be on the radical far left to implement their master plan. Based on his upbringing, his associations, and his involvement in the Chicago community organizing movement he was groomed and promoted to higher office.
From there he was launched by an incredible talent for oration, and a desire by the people for something other than the status quo. Change is what they wanted. The main stream media grabbed hold, forgot their jobs to investigate, and cheered all the way to his election……

During the practically endless series of Republican debates, we have heard almost every question imaginable asked to Republican candidates – if by every question imaginable, you mean horribly slanted, often irrelevant questions designed to make them look bad and help Obama. We’ve heard questions about contraceptives, religion, Newt’s angry ex-wife, Gardasil, etc., etc., etc. So, what would happen if the mainstream media treated Barack Obama the exact same way that they treat Republicans? The questions might sound a little something like this……
Military Scandal, Media Blackout
Let me preface the facts of this column with two disclosures: first, I have a deep and abiding respect for the United States military. With rare exception these people are and have been some of the finest Americans who have ever lived. Currently, they are asked to put their lives on the line even as they are constrained by absurdities such as the Rules of Engagement, pipe dream counter-insurgency tactics known as “winning hearts and minds,” and the political machinations of an administration more than willing to use them as pawns in a bid for re-election.
Second, I have equal amounts of contempt for a mainstream media, which is neither mainstream, nor remotely interested in reporting the truth, if it interferes with their agenda.
Here are the facts: on November 10th, a United States military court convicted Sgt. Calvin Gibbs, 26, for his participation in a “kill team” which deliberately targeted and subsequently murdered three Afghan civilians. Three co-defendants had previously pleaded guilty, and two testified against him.

You haven’t? It’s understandable because the mainstream media does not like to print any incidence of negativity or undesirable behavior on the part of any Obama Administration or government personnel and has been noticeably silent on the reporting of these scandals.
As part of the cover-up, those media organizations including the major daily newspapers such as the Boston Globe, New York Times, Washington Post and other major cities leading newspapers along with the major TV networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC have reported so little information and so very infrequently so as to be almost non-existent, or a scandal in itself on lack of reporting these government scandals……….

The writers who contribute articles to Global Research are dedicated to stopping this tide of disinformation and making real information available. Thanks to their commitment and sacrifice, we can start to change the system through increased awareness.
Often, however, journalists pay a high personal and professional price for telling the truth. Professional journalists committed to truth in media are invariably penalized by their corporate employers. They are pressured into accepting media disinformation as routine, as part of the job. They are encouraged to skim the surface or to convey half truths.
This is a system which rewards mediocrity. Those who lie are promised fame, funding and career advancement. Those who refuse to abide by the standards of the mainstream media are not only fired, they are blacklisted and their prospects extinguished. Journalists who have the courage to say the truth find themselves marginalized and excluded, and therefore often driven into poverty. Indeed, a considerable number of journalists who contribute to Global Research find themselves in this predicament.

Should Main Stream Media MSM control the internet?
Most of us are probably old enough to remember when the mainstream media controlled EVERY SINGLE WORD that was spoken, written, viewed and heard. The public library was about what the MSM wanted.
Letters to the editor was what the MSM approved. Actually it was not that long ago.Average people like you and I couldn’t make a web page or write our own blog or add a comment unless the owners of the MSM approved it. They controlled every aspect of the media and every aspect of what your peers in society read and saw.
I know about you, but I don’t wish to go back to those days. We need full net neutrality for all Americans.The MSM wants to have that control over us again and they want to end the right of websites such as your own blog, and Free Republic and others unless they will pay the tariff and exorbitant amount for special mainstream tier access.
I’ve already informed my Congressman and Senator that we need an unlimited, uncensored right to comment and compose on the internet, and do not want the MSM limiting what we have to say – not that 100K deposited in their bank accounts won’t change their mind.
