Expressing his opposition to the New York SAFE Act, Gloversville Mayor Dayton King has sensationally warned that any federal gun confiscation program could lead to a “Waco-style standoff” in rural areas of America.

“Most people are law-abiding citizens and may go ahead and sell those or turn those over, but you’re going to have a fraction of people that are going to take a stand, and I can just predict a Waco-style standoff in some rural area and it’s not going to end well,” Mayor King told Fox 23 News.

During the Waco siege in April 1993, after failing to execute a search warrant against the Branch Davidians, federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) burned down the Mount Carmel Center, slaughtering seventy-six men, women and children.

The SAFE Act, which passed the NY Senate late Monday, states that weapons with a detachable magazine and one military style feature purchased before the law was passed must be registered and that any high capacity magazine holding ten rounds or more must be sold out of state within one year.

We’re all gonna die in the “Frankenstorm.” Or so New York City’s rulers want us to fear. Nanny-sorry, Mayor Mike Bloomberg has warned us of the dire weather over and over: maybe he not only deems us stupid but hard of hearing, too. He’s also dispensed such insultingly obvious advice as “remain calm” — even as he tries his hardest to scare the pants off us.

Postpone Election, Mayor Demands

October 28, 2012 1 comment

(Associated Posers) – Richport, Maine – Although far outside of any danger zone from hurricane Sandy the incumbent mayor of Richport, Rodney Johnstone, is calling for elections to be post-poned for several weeks. “We will be getting heavy rains, possibly hail, for days. Roads will be flooded, trees will be down. People will not be able to reach polling locations”.

The mayor is polling several points behind challenger Henry Morgan who is already confident of a victory. He says the mayor’s call for delaying the election is “a ridiculous attempt to buy time”.

Sandy, which is barely a hurricane won’t be making landfall anywhere near Maine and definitely not as far north as Richport. The town residents have been taking the storm in stride, although local grocers have noticed a definite uptick in sales.

Mayor Appeals to Gangsters of Chicago

July 10, 2012 4 comments

RUSH: Here. Grab audio sound bite number 14. This, to me, is perfectly illustrative of some things that we were talking about yesterday. Rahm Emanuel. The murder rate in Chicago is out of control. It’s out of sight. People are being murdered in Obama’s town left and right, in Rahm Emanuel’s town left and right. So the mayor of Chicago, “the Godfather,” Rahm Emanuel appealed to the city’s gangsters.

He appealed to the city’s gangsters. I don’t even want to flavor this. Let’s just play the audio sound bite. This is on the CBS Evening News last night with Scott Pelley. Pelley said, “After Heaven Sutton was killed, you said, ‘It’s not about crime. It’s about values.’ What do you mean by that?”

Barack Obama: President or god?

May 24, 2012 2 comments

I was listening to a reply from President Obama the other day concerning some scathing remarks that Newark Mayor Cory Booker had made about a campaign ad that the Obama re-election team was running against Mitt Romney. Obama came out and proceeded to belittle Romney for being a businessman whose only concern was making a good profit at the expense of people.

Obama then proceeded to try and clarify his vison of what the presidency is compared to Mitt Romney’s. “The President of the United States is not concerned about how much high profits can be made but making sure that everyone gets a fair shot!”

Actually, Mr. Obama, that is NOT the President’s job. The President’s job is to set the conditions in this country that allows business to flourish, keep taxes low, regulate commerce, attend to foreign affairs, and make sure America has a strong defense.

Corporate Collaborators … Mark Steyn ~ at the Democratic Convention in Chicago, Mayor Daley declared that his forces were there to “preserve disorder.”

Way back in 1968, after the riots at the Democratic Convention in Chicago, Mayor Daley declared that his forces were there to “preserve disorder.” I believe that was one of Hizzoner’s famous malapropisms. Forty-three years later Jean Quan, mayor of Oakland, and the Oakland city council have made “preserving disorder” the official municipal policy. On Wednesday, the “Occupy Oakland” occupiers rampaged through the city, shutting down the nation’s fifth-busiest port, forcing stores to close, terrorizing those residents foolish enough to commit the reactionary crime of “shopping,” destroying ATMs, spraying the Christ the Light Cathedral with the insightful observation “F**k,” etc. And how did the Oakland city council react? The following day they considered a resolution to express their support for “Occupy Oakland” and to call on the city administration to “collaborate with protesters.”

That’s “collaborate” in the Nazi-occupied-France sense: The city’s feckless political class are collaborating with anarchists against the taxpayers who maintain them in their sinecures. They’re not the only ones. When the rumor spread that the Whole Foods store, of all unlikely corporate villains, had threatened to fire employees who participated in the protest, the regional president, David Lannon, took to Facebook: “We totally support our Team Members participating in the General Strike today — rumors are false!” But, despite his “total support,” they trashed his store anyway, breaking windows and spraypainting walls. As the Oakland Tribune reported:

A man who witnessed the Whole Foods attack, but asked not to be identified, said he was in the store buying an organic orange when the crowd arrived.

‘They found a whole bunch of early ballots they could stuff the box with’

The mayor of Quartzsite, Ariz., the town seething in vitriol since police forcibly removed a woman from speaking at a public meeting despite the mayor’s objections lost in a recall election last night, but claims the “corrupt” town council fixed the results to force him out.

Mayor Ed Foster of Quartzsite, Ariz., says his town is filled with massive corruption among government officials.

“They found a whole bunch of early ballots they could stuff the box with,” said Mayor Ed Foster, telling WND the election was “absolutely” stolen.

Foster says at the polling place, he was winning by a 2-to-1 margin over former Town Councilman and Quartzsite Fire Department Capt. Jose Lizarraga.

But there had been 328 early ballots cast, and 208 of those went to Lizarraga, giving the win to Lizarraga by a final tally of 289 votes to 230.

“There’s no doubt about it [being a fixed election],” said Foster. “The early voting was so obscenely different. … Whether people voted early or late should not have affected the weight of the vote.”

A former Hitler youth gives a chilling, but life-saving warning to America in “Defeating the Totalitarian Lie,” just $4.95 today only!

But the outcome is not deterring Foster from continuing his fight against alleged corruption in his rural town. In fact, he plans on running again for mayor, as primaries are slated for March, and a general election in May.

“They stole it from me. I’m gonna take it back,” he said.

Mayor Orders Cops To Remove Citizen At Council Meeting For Stating His Name

August 26, 2011 Leave a comment

Ron Paul supporter and anti-drug war activist Ronnie Reeferseed was hauled away from an Austin City Council meeting and banned for a year for stating his name in a mildly satirical manner, in yet another example of how local officials are increasingly engaging in petty power trips to oppress the free speech rights of American citizens.

The video shows Ronnie introducing himself before Mayor Lee Leffingwell snarls, “you will stop there, step back, your time is up,” and gestures for police officers to come and remove him from the podium.

Ronnie stated his satirical pseudonym in a, God forbid, mildly satirical manner, but the reaction of Leffingwell and the goons who removed him from the podium was a despicable and thuggish overreaction.

When other citizens present at the council meeting start to vocally complain about Ronnie’s treatment, Mayor Leffingwell calls for order and then threatens them, “sit down, be quiet, or you’ll be next.”

Ronnie was subsequently banned from attending Austin City Council meetings for a year for violating Leffingwell’s “rule of decorum,” by merely stating his name.

Mayor Leffingwell has led an attempt to restrict citizens’ free speech at council meetings by creating a new rule that a person can’t speak on more that three agenda items per session.

* A d v e r t i s e m e n t

Leffingwell’s behavior is typical of the increasing trend of local officials who have forgotten that they are servants of the people and their job is to represent and hear out concerns of local residents, not boss them around.

In Quartzsite Arizona last month, Jennifer Jones was hauled away from a council meeting and arrested for criticizing Police Chief Jeff Gilbert , who later had the council declare martial law as a result of the bad publicity generated by the incident.

Also last month in Gould, Arkansas, the City Council moved to ban all gatherings and groups, no matter how small, from discussing city matters without prior permission from the authorities.

In an incident reported by Infowars this week, Republican Congressman Steve Chabot had cops grab the cameras of constituents during a town hall meeting in Cincinnati Ohio.

Watch Alex Jones’ reaction to this incident in the clip below, as well as an interview with Ronnie Reeferseed himself. Ronnie points out that the council meeting room was packed with police, indicating that they had planned to haul him out ahead of time.

State of emergency declared in Quartzsite, Ariz.

July 13, 2011 2 comments

QUARTZSITE, Ariz. – A state of emergency has been declared in the small western Arizona town of Quartzsite after a video of a woman being arrested during a public city council meeting went viral and prompted death threats to council members.

Jennifer “Jade” Jones, a blogger and vocal critic of local government, was delivering remarks during the public comment session of a June 28 city council meeting when she was interrupted.

A video posted on YouTube shows council members interrupting her and asking her to leave or be escorted out.

The mayor of Quartzsite, Ed Foster, is heard telling officers to leave Jones alone. “Officer, that woman has the floor you are violating my rules of order,” says Foster.

In the end Jones is restrained and escorted out of the council chambers. On her blog she says her arm was injured in the fracas.

The video has sparked public outrage from some who call it a violation of Jones’ first amendment rights.

Since it went public, Mayor Foster has been ousted and Quartzsite Police Chief Jeff Gilbert has taken control of the town.

President Obama is told by London mayor Boris Johnson: ‘When am I going to get my 5 million?’

President Obama is told by London mayor Boris Johnson: ‘When am I going to get my 5 million?’

President Obama is told by London mayor Boris Johnson: ‘When am I going to get my 5 million?’: “At the end of the state banquet in the president’s honour at Buckingham Palace, the Mayor of London took the opportunity to have a quick word. “Could you please write me out a cheque for 5 million?” Johnson asked him.

The request for the president to settle the congestion charge bill that his country has run up was made with charm. The president smiled broadly. If he was about to reach for his chequebook, however, the swift intervention of Louis Susman, Obama’s ambassador to London and his former fund-raiser, put paid to that.”

Chicago is dying because Democrats have had total control for eighty years

September 15, 2010 Leave a comment

Chicago is dying and its illness will spread to every corner of America unless something is done to address and reverse its problems.Richard Daley’s administration has done a skillful job of hiding it, but America’s second city, Chicago a town totally ruled by Democrats for eighty years is nearly dead.

The city has chased out numerous wealthy and successful corporations, the kind that feed the life blood of any municipality trying to play in the big leagues.

Chicago’s insane liberal politics have driven away: Amoco, Waste Management, Quaker Oats, and even First Chicago among many other top tier corporations.Starting last year city workers including cops and firemen were suffering unpaid involuntary furloughs of first fifteen days then twenty four days this year.

Emblematic of the City’s “lifeboat ethic” is the penny wise and pound foolish sale of its parking meter system. The short term “gain” was a drop in Chicago’s budget shortfall but that revenue has been taken away forever as a source of income. The head Rat jumps ship because the problems are manyChicago’s Mayor For Life Richard Daley has announced he would not be running for reelection next February.

He didn’t elaborate beyond saying it was time to go, but who would know better how sick his city is than Richard Daley? The institutionalized problems that now preclude a reversal of Chicago’s fortunes are many and serious….

The Day the Sky Fell

September 9, 2010 Leave a comment

Our Soil, Our Sky, Our BloodSubliminally we had known the day would come. We had acted out such spectacles countless times in movies, to dull the edge of the horror and make it palatable, adding happy endings to keep things simpler and cleaner. But we had denied it, just as we had denied history and destiny. We had treated any warnings as “Chicken Littles” crying that the sky would fall. And when the sky fell, we wondered who could have seen it coming.

But it was not the first time that Muslim terrorists had struck New York. It was only the first time that they had succeeded in causing so much death. We had let the media dismiss the first 1993 attack as the work of bunglers. We joined blow dried reporters in chuckling about the terrorist so stupid he tried to get back a deposit for a vehicle he had used in the attack. But we had forgotten what the attack really meant. That we were in the middle of a war. And in a one-sided war, the enemy does not have to be lucky every time. Just once.

Just a few men with box cutters and some flight lessons. A plan that would have seemed absurd if it had failed, but a nightmare when it succeeded. It is human nature to focus on petty complaints. The New York of that Tuesday morning was outraged over Mayor Giuliani’s crackdown on petty quality of life offenses. By that afternoon even the dimmest yuppie had figured out that they were in the middle of a war, whose issues and implications made the rights of squeegee men to spray your car window and ask for change, something too small to be worth talking about. That shocking contrast was part of a dramatic transformation of the American consciousness by that metaphorical hole in the sky.We knew the sky no longer belonged to us. Airline transportation which we had mostly taken for granted had become a weapon to be used against us. And anyone and anything could be next.

We were at war. And some of us wanted to ask the men who had done this, what we could do to get our sky back. Others wanted to take it back by force, by destroying the perpetrators and using them to send a message. That our soil, our sky and our blood were off limits.

The mayor says yes.The city’s recent tax amnesty program brought to light Philadelphia bloggers and others who had reported income to the IRS – meaning they were telling Uncle Sam they had made money – but had never purchased the business privilege license required to do business in the city.

That license runs $50 a year or $300 for life.ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW

Carlsbad, CA City Council refuses to act on Obama’s ineligibility and election fraud | The Post & Email

August 26, 2010 Leave a comment

by Neil Turner

Why was there no vetting of Obama for president? Why will no one address the issue now?Aug. 25, 2010 — On July 27, 2010, Capt. Neil Turner addressed the Carlsbad, CA City Council during the”Public Comment” period, at which time he spoke about the question of Barack Hussein Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as President of the United States and the lack of vetting prior to the 2008 election.

On August 24, 2010, Capt. Neil Turner addressed his city council for the second time. His remarks are as follows:Honorable Mayor, Honorable Council-members, my name is Neil Turner, founder of Citizens for the Constitution, and I am a 75-year citizen of the United States. On 27 July, 2010, I informed this Council of major voter fraud and citizen disenfranchisement that occurred in the 2008 elections, at all City of Carlsbad polling stations, and of the high crime of treason that was occurring here in the City of Carlsbad, due to the aforementioned voter fraud not being addressed by our public servants, our elected representatives – from City Council members all the way up through the State and Federal levels. Since the State and Federal levels have failed to repeated peaceful and legal petitioning to uphold their oaths and respond, that leaves it up to you, Council members, as our first, and apparently last, line of defense, to enforce our Constitutional rights.
