Free Republic, the original conservative web board protests the White House Correspondents Dinner every year. (In previous cycles, they’ve been joined by the not-very-blendable activists of Code Pink. They still pop up in photos of congressional hearings, and Medea Benjamin isn’t a pauper, so they’ll probably surface again.)

Our theme this year, in tribute to our late fellow FReeper, andrew, is Breitbart is Here.

We are asking participants to wear Breitbart is Here t-shirts and/or carry Breitbart is Here posters for the demonstration.

(“Missed by all but one of the mainstream media”) Michelle Obama “really needs” CodePink

Missed by all but one of the mainstream media: Michelle Obama “really needs” CodePink.

During a fund raising trip to the Bay Area on March 30, the First Lady told CodePink co-founders to “keep up the good work”. Obama’s congratulations were reported only by the San Francisco Chronicle.

First Lady Michelle Obama, accepting an anti-war petition at a fundraiser in San Francisco last week, told the CodePink member who presented her with 20,000 signatures, “Keep up the great work,” the organization’s co-founders say. (San Francisco Chronicle, April 4, 2012).

“CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin wrote a blogpost today about the First Lady’s visit. In it, she related she said what happened behind the scenes when Kristin Hall, a CodePink supporter—one who paid to get into the $500 a head fundraiser—personally met up with Michelle Obama at the California Academy of Sciences last Friday.

“After Hull handed Mrs. Obama a petition urging peacekeeping not war with Iran—a document signed by luminaries like Gloria Steinham, Alice Walker and Eve Ensler—Mrs. Obama thanked Hull for her advocacy and said, “Keep up the great work,” writes Benjamin. “As Hull was walking away after her photo with the First Lady, Michelle Obama grabbed her hand, squeezed it and said, “We really need you.” (Italics CFP’s).

As the cliche goes, there are no coincidences in politics. Obama fundraiser group Code Pink just happened to have arrived in Cairo last week for the group’s ninth visit there in two years as part of its campaign to undermine the Mubarak government and help Hamas, the terrorist group that controls Gaza.Code Pink and the media are trying to portray the leftist group’s ‘sudden’ appearance in Cairo Wednesday as an act of courageous support for a democratic revolution. Nothing could be further from the truth.Code Pink protests the Mubarak government in Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt.

February 2, 2011.Code Pink has a well-documented history of working to overthrow American allies while propping up anti-American leftist governments and terrorist regimes. In fact, the group was founded in late 2002 to help keep the socialist Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein in power. Code Pink even traveled to Baghdad in February 2003 as guests of the tyrannical terrorist to lobby the world to keep Saddam Hussein in power.Photo at link shows Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin donating blood to Saddam Hussein’s government in Baghdad, Iraq, February 5, 2003. The group has visited each of these nations as guests of their respective governments.Code Pink has also met with various terrorist groups including Hamas, the Taliban and Iraqi “insurgents.” Code Pink has even acted as a messenger between terrorists and President Barack Obama
