Judge Napolitano Slams ‘Reprehensible, Immoral’ Spending Habits Of Now-Bankrupt Californian City | Mediaite
On Fox’s America Live this afternoon, senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano took on the news of how a judge ruled that Stockton, Calif., can become the first American city to declare bankruptcy by slamming the local government’s “reprehensible” spending habits that led to their dodging debt obligations via insolvency.
“Stockton is the beginning of a very long train,” Napolitano said before recalling all the various debts the city holds to other government bodies. “Where is the money going to come from?” he asked.
“This is reprehensible what the politicians did in order to get votes,” he continued. “How did they get votes? By giving lavish deals for people who will continue to keep them in office. They either never thought they’d run out of cash or the cash would run out not on their watch; and they also, of course, wrote laws that would benefit themselves because the politicians making these laws would themselves be pensioners some day. So these pensions are lavish and generous and noncontributory, comes from the taxpayers.”

Lawyer, professor and political commentator Alan Dershowitz stopped by America Live Wednesday afternoon, where he shared his thoughts on the George Zimmerman case with host Megyn Kelly. In a nutshell: He thinks the case has gone to hell in a widely-publicized handbasket. Specifically, he believes that, if anyone should be tried in this case, it should be Special Prosecutor Angela Corey.
“This affidavit,” he said, “submitted by the prosecutor in the Florida case is a crime. It’s a crime. If she in fact knew about ABC News’ pictures of the bloody head of Zimmerman and failed to include that in the affidavit, this affidavit is not the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”
He also took the prosecution to task for having used the passive voice — “a struggle ensued” — to describe the altercation that allegedly took place between Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin leading up to Trayvon’s death without adding pertinent evidence and details, such as whether Martin had been on top of Zimmerman, thus able to bash his head against the pavement as Zimmerman has claimed.

Megyn Kelly’s Pepper Spray Comments Spark Backlash By Mike Krumboltz
Pepper spray, its effects, and its appropriateness continue to be top of mind in the media.
Following the protests at UC Davis, during which Occupy protesters were sprayed with pepper spray by a campus police officer, Fox News commentator Megyn Kelly went on the Bill O’Reilly show.

“Blond” vindication: Megyn Kelly AND Shannon Bream to ask questions at Thursday’s FOX/GOP debate:
Well, at least ALL attention Thursday night won’t be focused on deciding who has better hair..Perry or Romney..FOX has decided to “promote” two of its stable of blond bombshells…Megyn Kelly AND Shannon Bream to ask questions of the candidates, along with Chris Wallace. The always capable Brett Baier will host and moderate.
Perhaps the suits at FOX are attempting to atone for their inane decision to include Gary Johnson on the stage..as if that’s what we really need..another distraction from a serious debate among the major candidates. Hey, why not Buddy Roehmer?……………………………

Much has been made of the lack of media coverage surrounding the 2012 bid of Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) despite his second-place showing in the Ames Straw Poll. So Bill O’Reilly wondered Wednesday why Paul won’t come on his show.
“Congressman Ron Paul recently told Megyn Kelly that he’s being ignored by the media. Since Ms. Kelly is part of the media, that was a … pretty interesting statement,” said the Fox News host. “When we heard it though, we immediately invited Ron Paul on the Factor. We don’t want anyone to be ignored. So far he has not accepted our very kind invitation.”

WI State Senator On Recall Effort: ‘This Is About The Presidential Election In 2012′
Wisconsin State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says the evolving fight in Madison is “about the 2012 election.
”In an interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Fitzgerald said efforts to recall senators were designed to impact the 2012 elections–even suggesting the recall of Republican senators was being orchestrated by the White House.
“This is not some grassroots effort…there’s definitely more to this.”Under tough questioning from Kelly, who asked Fitzgerald for any proof of a connection between the Obama White House and the recall effort in Wisconsin, Fitzgerald insisted what’s happening in his state is all about who wins Wisconsin in 2012:

CITIZEN REMINDS “JOURNALIST” BILL O’REILLY THAT HIS JOB IS TO ASK QUESTIONS
February 22, 2011
Bill O’Reilly anchored the program “Inside Edition” and worked for ABC and CBS News before joining the Fox News ChannelDear Mr. O’Reilly,This will be dismissed by you as you have in the past, but I just had to write after your demonstration of dismissal of the doubt of the now more than 50% of the American people.
First, we are not “birthers” as you and others want the rest of the world to believe.
Unlike you, we want to know the truth. We do not accept an announcement or two that could be placed by anyone or a COLB wonder if you know what that is? as proof that a candidate is a natural born Citizen, as stated in Article II, Section I, paragraph 5 of the U. S. Constitution, qualified to be President of my country.
Your pontification with Megyn Kelly the other night leads me and others to suspect that you are as much a part of what is wrong with America as the 100+ years of progressive rule.
You should pay more attention to Glenn Beck, who always says, “Question with impunity.” Your lack of integrity is apparent on this subject……………..
