’2016: Obama’s America’ Movie Is Disturbingly Necessary

………..Yet, I’m glad I saw the hyped-film because it was more informative than I had thought it would be and included less propaganda than I had predicted. If anything, it

was nearly too informative as there was an enormous amount of information condensed into the nearly one-hour-and-a-half documentary. Fact after fact is put forth which shows that President Obama definitely has many skeletons in the closet that have not been released prior to the nation’s trust in him with the Oval Office.

Internet activists accused governments of making it difficult for users of the Web, rights campaigners and private businesses to carry out their work through state attempts to seize control of the Web.

They said state officials were getting bolder in their drive to regulate the Web that has fueled Arab revolutions, enabled mass leaks of U.S. diplomatic cables and allowed online piracy to thrive.

“What we have seen in the last three years is that no longer do governments shy away from attempting to regulate Internet content,” said Joy Liddicoat, project coordinator at New Zealand-based Association for Progressive Communications, which seeks to protect people’s rights on and to the Internet.

They were speaking at the Internet Governance Forum in Nairobi on Tuesday, an annual event that brings together companies, non-profit groups, academics, engineers, government representatives and ordinary citizens.

Going to visit with Obama’s ‘Granny’ is a trip to a strange land

Reporting from Nyangoma-Kogelo, Kenya— To secure an audience with the Obama family matriarch at her farmhouse in western Kenya, you are told to pay respects at the local seat of power. This is a run-down government building where the district commissioner, a scowling man in a black suit, receives you without warmth.

You’ve come to see Sarah Onyango, you explain, the woman referred to as “Granny” by the president of the United States. You are coming with the blessing of the president’s half brother Malik Obama, you quickly add.

District Commissioner Boaz Cherutich, who controls the woman’s 24-hour security detail, dismisses you brusquely, saying: With the family’s permission, you don’t need mine. Go.

Down pitted dirt roads, behind a metal gate, you find policemen playing cards in the big front yard of the family compound where the president’s father is buried. Grim faced, they turn you away without explanation.

John the Fixer, who has arranged many such visits, doesn’t quite understand the problem, but the day is young, and he will make calls. “They have to consult widely,” he says.

Security has been tightened, he explains, since President Obama sent a team to kill Osama bin Laden, prompting vows of revenge. Kenya has been hit before, most calamitously when Al Qaeda blew up the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi in 1998.

“We used to love this place. You could walk in and out and see the grandmother,” he says. “She is a very social woman, but access to her has been restricted.”

Malik Obama is nearby, and he’s sure to straighten things out. He’s having a Coke on the patio of the area’s best hotel, the Mwisho Mwisho, whose name, “end end” in Swahili, reflects its reputation among tour guides as a refuge of last resort.

Documents obtained by WND indicate the Kenyan government investigated the possibility that President Obama was born in the East African nation.

Two letters purportedly written by Kenya’s immigration secretary during the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign stated that officials in Nairobi could not find evidence Obama was born in Kenya. But the official said the government had “information” that relevant birth records may have been removed or were missing.

Emmanuel Kisombe, the permanent secretary in the Ministry for Immigration and Registration of Persons, wrote a letter in July 2008 in reply to a letter from the U.S. ambassador in Nairobi that raised the possibility with Kenyan officials that Obama was born in their country.

Throughout a tumultuous career as an economist in Nairobi in the 1960s, Barack Hussein Obama, President Obama’s father, claimed to have earned a PhD from Harvard University. But according to federal immigration records, Obama was forced to leave the school by administrators alarmed at his freewheeling personal life and financial difficulties.

In a May 1964 memo contained in the elder Obama’s Immigration and Naturalization Service file, an immigration inspector noted that Obama had passed his exams and was entitled to stay and complete the requirements for a PhD in economics. [...]

Not long afterward, Harvard asked the INS to hold up on Obama’s routine request for an extension of his stay, according to a June memo signed by immigration inspector M.F.McKeon. School administrators, the memo continued, “were having difficulty with his financial arrangements and couldn’t seem to figure out how many wives he had.’’

Although Harvard had previously assured the INS that Obama could continue his degree program, David D. Henry, then the director of the university’s international office,

abruptly advised him in a May let ter that he had three weeks to make the necessary preparations to return to Nairobi.

Despite his vigorous protest, Obama was compelled to leave the country in July.

[...]

In April 1961, McCabe called immigration officials and expressed concern that Obama had recently married a young woman named Stanley Ann Dunham[...]

INS officials considered whether Obama could be deported if he were convicted of bigamy, but decided against it. [...]

Although Obama frequently claimed to have earned a PhD from Harvard in the years to come and insisted he be called Dr. Obama, he never fully recovered from disappointment over his failure to get the degree he had worked so hard for. [...]
