The chickens have come home to roost.

The first generation of students swaddled in the insanity of the self-esteem movement have emerged on the scene as arrogant, self-absorbed twits with an exaggerated sense of entitlement and self-importance.

In short, they’ve been spoiled. Potentially, they’ve been ruined.

The idiocy of social engineering in the classroom is again bearing catastrophic results.

Here’s how we know. A group of five university professors has evaluated more than 16,000 personality profiles of college students gathered over the last 24 years. What they’ve discovered is that today’s young people have dramatically different self-concepts than the two generations which preceded them.

And the differences aren’t good.

Today’s college students are monumentally more narcissistic. That means they worship themselves. That means they’ve been told that they’re special so many times that they’ve come to believe it. In blunt terms, they think their crap doesn’t stink.

But it does. Possibly more than most.

Because one of the hallmarks of an inflated self-concept is personal failure. People who think they are superior have an uncanny tendency to be inferior. Their sense of worth is so high they have no motivation to work and improve themselves. When you think the world is yours on a silver platter, it never occurs to you that you’ve got to get off your backside and earn anything.

The study shows that children born after 1982 have a unrealistically inflated self-concepts. So high is their estimation of themselves, in fact, that they are fully narcissistic – a trait that is somewhere in the gray area between a character flaw and a personality disorder. Narcissism is such an unhealthy aberration that it is almost a mental illness.

And the self-esteem movement of the 1990s has made it epidemic.

Unfortunately, the education industry has become so divorced from reality that for several years the conventional wisdom in American classrooms has been that children – particularly poor and minority children – fail to achieve because they have negative self-concepts. The way to correct that, the argument has gone, is to pump up their self-concepts through self-esteem building. That typically translated to unrealistic and unearned praise for students, and the removal of all negative feedback and consequences from the classroom. That’s why grades are artificially high, everybody gets a smiley face and teachers don’t use red ink any more.

Schools seem incapable of recognizing that true self-worth comes from doing what’s right and from legitimate achievement. Not praise passed out like candy, but genuine achievement coming as the consequence of significant effort. You earn worth, it isn’t given out for free.

The lunacy of the education reformers was matched by the leniency of the troubled homes. Mom and dad have forgotten how to be mom and dad. Children were waited on hand and foot with no obligations of their own to work or assist the family. Permissive parenting and failed educating led to a bumper crop of egocentric creeps.

And that’s going to hurt.

Because narcissists typically fail. They fail in their responsibility to be good citizens and they fail in their responsibility to be good spouses and parents.

Being a good citizen and being part of a family requires selflessness. They require putting your own interests second to the interests of something larger and more important than yourself. To the narcissist, there is nothing more important than yourself.

That leads to employment and self-reliance difficulties, and to significant challenges to the ability to maintain a marriage and raise a family.

Andrew G. Hodges, M.D., author of “The Obama Confession: Secret Fear, Secret Fury,” at the suggestion of WND examined Obama’s Sept. 25 address at the U.N. and offered his analysis.

He uses a unique psycholinguistic technique he calls “ThoughtPrint Decoding” to “read between the lines” of people’s statements – called “the cutting-edge of forensic science” by expert investigators.

Obama is a Narcissist Who Rules a Narcissistic Nation

Many of our populace are self-centered and just plain misinformed. We are becoming a nation of takers, enablers and ignoramuses.

We have lost the concept that to be concerned about others also means holding them and ourselves accountable.

 

We have forgotten what a Republic is. Our Constitution is being dissolved before our eyes and we remain silent. We have a former Speaker of the House who doesn’t know the 11th amendment from the 14th…whatever.

 

Worse yet, we want the government to take care of us and, in exchange for this false sense of security, we have given up much of our freedom, and will keep giving it up until there is no freedom left. It is inevitable if we don’t change course.

Governor Romney recently referred to the takers and givers in this nation and the role that played in his loss. Governor Romney was the candidate who emphasized individual responsibility over handouts. After he made his comments, he was attacked by Republicans! They are misguided, not Romney. He sees the direction we are headed in better than they do.

 

Some in the Republican Party are playing politics with reality in an effort to pander to the takers that they foolishly think they can win over. That thinking is dangerous. We need them to be clearheaded and courageous.

 

President Obama is a narcissist and that point can’t be emphasized enough. He sees all the world as an extension of himself. For example, he does not care enough about our embassies and diplomatic missions to provide them with security, but lest you think he doesn’t have time to consider those things, take notice of all the protection he and those close to him have.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders describes narcissism as a personality disorder that “revolves around a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and sense of entitlement.”

We all need a bit of narcissism that maintains our self-esteem and a positive outlook on life. Performing artists and sports figures, for example, need it to exert themselves to achieve in their fields of endeavor. Political figures, of course, also need a bit to advance and defend their point of view. It plays a role in providing leadership.

Obama’s Parade of Vindictive Rage

President Obama is a subjective narcissist who adheres to lawlessness, moral relativism and is fully opposed to the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God. He is the polar opposite of our Founding Fathers in every way and as we have seen, his chief trait is to display and parade his vindictive rage in all of his anti – constitutional policies. He and his administration fully comprehend better than anyone that they are in deep trouble come November 2012 and the only thing for them to do is to go completely full bore radical and lawless until this November and to do as much damage and destruction to Romany’s personal character and our nation as possible.

Narcissism update: Obama now inserts himself into online bios of past presidents

It was probably to be expected from a monstrous political ego that considers himself among the top two presidents of the 21st century.

But faced with the apparently frightening possibility of losing his reelection bid, Barack Obama has inserted himself into the online White House bios of almost every president in the last nine decades. To somehow share and compare their achievements. At one point Obama even draws his wife into the biographical additions.

Understanding The Narcissist

Marketing seeks to create images in our minds by relying on the creativity of a writer. Political marketing often involves the creation of myths, transforming an ordinary man into a heroic figure with selfless ideals who is willing to endure suffering to serve his fellow man.

This transformation of normal ordinary men into heroes of mythical figures has never been more obvious than the stories of our most recent Liberal presidents Clinton and Obama.

We were just subjected to a reelection commercial featuring former President Clinton explaining the potential fallout and risk for President Obama if the SEAL raid in Pakistan had gone horribly wrong.

Suppose the Navy SEALs had gone in there . . . suppose they had been captured or killed. The downside would have been horrible for him [Obama].

This was a unique opportunity for Americans to observe and compare our most notorious Narcissists, and watch one create the typical Narcissistic pool for all of us to admire the other’s reflection.

(Feb. 16, 2012) — Another cold day in hell. But hell on Earth is beautiful, if not merciful or just. The trees twist intricate traceries and I twist yarn around my knitting needles. The sock I’m knitting grows.

It’s funny how one English word can contain volumes. “Twist,” which means to wind around like a spiral or double helix–true sacred conformations–can also mean to wind around like a maze, a form of hell. “Twisted” means crazy, not of right mind. It’s also, of course, a dance from the sixties, an elegant hairstyle, a cinnamon bun, a citrus peel, a sprain, an unexpected departure. Eccentricity.

America’s Youth – Soiled and Ready!

Today, in every facet of our American culture and society there is nothing found that is NOT untainted or unsoiled by the horrific consequences from the VIOLATIONS of the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God (Isaiah 24:5-6). There is no greater place where this embracement of decadence is to be found today than in our YOUTH (10 -18 years old). With the liberal secularist controlling the music industry, video games, image media and educational system, it is no wonder that all kinds of godless immorality is promoted, applauded and encouraged by our society today.

They have built an impregnable fortress in which to take their personal narcissism to EXPONENTIAL levels and into the Day of the Lord!

Tragically our youth have NOT been taught the moral absolutes which provide healthy moral boundaries to preserve a society. They have been spoon fed with the destructive poison of narcissism, secularism, pluralism, political correctness and relativism from their crib. Is it no wonder that…..

Scientists at the University of Amsterdam proved their theory by conducting an experiment involving 150 people, split into groups of three.

America is polarizing into a new two-party state — socialists and non-socialists — that will be devoid of the stabilizing checks-and-balances in the former Republican-Democrat two-party system.

Convinced of this, I believe my offspring will not only never enjoy a tenth of the freedoms I’ve enjoyed, but also will toil their lives away in a futile effort to pay off debts that President Obama is now running up.

With so much at stake, I asked myself: What drives a man to offer ephemeral pleasure and plentitude in the form of insane financial largesse at the expense of so much pain and suffering to future Americans, born and unborn (including those babies lucky enough to evade Obama’s “what-the-hell, don’t-ask-don’t-tell” abortion policies)?

My answer is ego. Only someone with an insatiable ego could charm his way to the world’s most powerful position. But ego is only a component of a psychological package that captivated a majority of voters, especially those whose educations are so paltry as to leave them with little or no powers of discernment, who needed only to hear “hope and change” to be swept off their feet. It is much more than just ego: It is narcissism.
