The U.S. Army is directing troops to remove a Bible inscription that a vendor etched into the serial numbers of weapon scopes, Fox News has learned.

 

 

 

Soldiers at Fort Wainwright in Alaska told Fox News they received a directive to turn in their scopes so the Bible references could be removed.

The scopes were made by Trijicom and referenced New Testament passages in John 8:12 and Second Corinthians 4:6. The verses appeared at the end of the scope serial numbers – “JN8:12” and “2COR4:6.”

Most echoed secular interpreters of Christ who claim, “Jesus shares many of the values of those in the Occupy movement.”

I contend Jesus had plenty of time to confront civil authority, yet Christ focused on religious authority. He didn’t discuss politics with the centurion or tax rates with Matthew. In fact the only system of government approved by God was that of the judges, and the Jews disliked that arrangement so much they demanded a king.

Democracy and social justice are not mentioned in the New Testament because it’s not a political science or economics text. The Word is directed at individuals and not Wall Street, corporations, the GOP, Congress or the Koch brothers.

The War Against Christianity in America

The origin of the war against Christianity in the United States can be traced back to the early days of the public school movement when Unitarians, Owenite socialists and atheists, and Hegelian pantheists vehemently rejected the God-centered worldview of the Founding Fathers and sought to secularize education and substitute salvation through scientific education than by salvation through Christ .

However, it wasn’t until the turn of the last century and the rise of the progressive education movement that the war in America took on the militancy which characterizes it today. The progressives were, for the most part, members of the Protestant academic elite who no longer believed in the religion of their fathers and transferred their faith to science, evolution, and psychology.

The scientific method provided the means to acquire unlimited knowledge of the material world, evolution explained the origin of life and man, and psychology provided the scientific means of studying man’s nature and controlling his behavior. There was no need for supernatural religion in the progressive scheme of things.

Early in the 20th century, the progressives embarked on a messianic mission to change America from a capitalist, individualistic, and believing society into a socialist, collectivist, atheist or humanist society. They were motivated by the need not only to prove the nonexistence and/or irrelevance of God, but to deal with the age-old problem of evil: what caused it and how it could be eliminated.

In the first place, the Church was never intended to be a government corporation! Yet, that is exactly what every 501c3 non-profit “religious” organization is: it is a government-created corporation. In the eyes of the government, pastors, elders, and deacons are not pastors, elders, and deacons; they are corporate officers. And put to the test, virtually any and all of these so-called “pastors,” “elders,” and “deacons,” will confirm that they are corporate officers. So, right out of the gate we must understand that we are dealing with government corporations and corporate officers, not with New Testament churches, pastors, elders, and deacons.

Pray tell, where do you find anything in the New Testament about churches joining with the State, or being incorporated by the State, or being required to submit to the State? It’s not there! The 501c3 corporation status has turned the Lord’s Church into mere creatures of the State.

Therefore, please remember, when you “worship” inside these government corporations, when you give your tithes and offerings to these government corporations, you are NOT supporting “the Lord’s work.” You are supporting the work of the State. You might as well be paying taxes; it amounts to virtually the same thing. The same is true for all these TV preachers. They are all 501c3 incorporated!

But within the US there is already the move to oust conservative, biblical posts and sites. Google search engine, the largest in the Internet, has now scooped out numerous sites giving forth truth about Islam, the Koran, Mohammed, and the inroad of Muslim implanting in nation after nation.

Google is run by pro-liberal Democrats. Fill in the blanks.

The day will come when the Anti-Christ political leader will snuff out all sane, Christian-moral based sites on the Internet. When the Book of Revelation speaks of the Anti-Christ prohibiting Christians from buying and selling, that could very well be interpreted as Christians “buying and selling” on the Internet as well as merchandising at the local mart.

The Anti-Christ, controlled solely by Satan, will attack all genuine believers, killing many. Now this is happening because of the “spirit of Anti-Christ” set loose, the latter predicted in John’s three short letters in the New Testament. The “spirit of Anti-Christ” precedes the actual appearance of the demon-dominated mortal known in the Book of Revelation as the “beast” — the Anti-Christ in person.

MANATEE COUNTY – The Sheriff’s Office recently suspended a sergeant at the county jail for 26 hours without pay for labeling a scripture passage on a co-worker’s desk with a message about President Barack Obama that she considered threatening.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Matthew Neu attached a handwritten note to a co-worker’s jail-issued book of passages from the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. The note stated “The Obama Prayer,” and with a highlighter pen, Neu reportedly circled a verse in Psalm 109 that read: “Let his days be few, and let another take his office.”

Pastors across the country have been called on by the Department of Homeland Security to join “Clergy Response Teams” in order to placate and control the people of America in the event of local or national emergencies. Jeff Ferrell, a reporter for KSLA in Shreveport, claimed that “For the clergy team, one of the biggest tools that they will have in helping calm the public down or to obey the law is the bible itself, specifically Romans 13.” This idea was affirmed in the report by Dr. Durell Turberville who was quoted as saying, “because the government is established by the Lord, you know. And, that’s what we believe in the Christian faith. That’s what’s stated in the scripture.”
