When Barack Obama was surprisingly elected as the U.S. President in the 2008 elections, the world came to believe that a new phase of relationship and interaction between the United States and the international community would begin soon.

That is why more than 150 world leaders rushed to send congratulatory messages to him, praising him as someone who can usher in a new era of constructive and peaceful cooperation after 8 erosive years of confrontation, militarism, despotism and bullying by President George W. Bush and his like-minded cabinet.

The Coming Chinese Invasion of America… “America is not broke, in fact the opposite is true. The United States of America is awash in an unimaginable amount of mineral wealth. What belongs to the people has been transferred, in the greatest theft in world history, from the workers and consumers to the government as well as the banks and the portfolios of the criminal elite gangsters which control the politicians with insider-trading and outright bribes. ” | ~ Dave Hodges – The Common Sense Show

Contrary to what the power brokers would have you believe in order that you’ll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life that people live in a third world country, the globalists want you to believe that your nation is broke and there is nothing you can do about it.

Warning Signs: Iran is Now Obama’s BFF

December 8, 2013 1 comment

…..So, Iran has become Obama’s new Best Friend Forever. Or at least until it acquires nuclear weapons of its own and, by then, he is likely to be out of office and hailed as a “statesman” by the slavish mainstream press. He is the only U.S. President who was given a Nobel Peace Prize for having accomplished nothing in the early months of his first term.

And, by the end of the day, he found himself in the odd position of relying on his Russian counterpart, Vladimir V. Putin, of all people, to bail him out. The surprise Russian proposal to defuse the American confrontation with Syria made a tenuous situation even more volatile for a president struggling to convince a deeply skeptical public of the need for the United States to respond militarily in yet another Middle Eastern country …

In one of the most deft diplomatic maneuvers of all time, Russia’s President Putin has saved the world from near-certain disaster. He did so without the egoistical but incompetent American president, or his earnest but clueless Secretary of State, even realizing they had been offered a way out of the mess they’d created.

Has anyone noticed that a “police action” is being proposed in Syria? Knowledgeable leaders might remember the Korean War. Officially, the U.S. never went to war in Korea. It was only a “police action.” That was going to be short, (almost) everyone said.

Now we are not going to war in Syria, insist President Barack Obama, his Secretary of State John Kerry and others. We are just going to punish Syrian President Bashar Hafez al-Assad for using sarin gas on the city of Aleppo. So, is that a “police action?”

Edward Snowden nominated for Nobel Peace Prize | EUTimes.net

July 16, 2013 Leave a comment

A Swedish sociology professor has nominated Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize. He says the NSA whistleblower could help “save the prize from the disrepute incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision” to give the 2009 award to Barack Obama.

In his letter addressed to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Stefan Svallfors praised Snowden for his “heroic effort at great personal cost.” He stated that by revealing the existence and the scale of the US surveillance programs, Snowden showed “individuals can stand up for fundamental rights and freedoms.”

“This example is important because since the Nuremberg trials in 1945 has been clear that the slogan ‘I was just following orders’ is never claimed as an excuse for acts contrary to human rights and freedoms,” Professor Svallfors wrote.

The same media you would expect to cover such a monumental decision was absent at the trial, because those news organizations were part of that conspiracy.

Dr. Jim Garrow is a renowned author and whistleblower who has been nominated for a Nobel peace prize for his humanitarian work. He is the author of The Pink Pagoda: One Man’s Quest to End Gendercide in China. He has spent over $25 million over the past sixteen years rescuing an estimated 40,000 baby Chinese girls from near-certain death under China’s one-child-per-couple policy by facilitating international adoptions.

He is the founder and executive director of the Bethune Institute’s Pink Pagoda schools, private English-immersion schools for Chinese children. Today he runs 168 schools with nearly 6,300 employees.

So is current and previous praise. John McCain once called him “one of (our) greatest generals.” His judgment leaves much to be desired.

He’s not the best and brightest on Capitol Hill. He once admitted to graduating near the bottom of his Naval Academy class.

White House and media spin praised Petraeus’ performance as Iraq commander and CENTCOM head. It was falsified hype. Performance contradicted facts. Iraq was more disaster than success. His Afghanistan surge failed. Syria on his CIA watch didn’t fare better.

Before he fell from grace, he was called aggressive in nature, an innovative thinker on counterinsurgency warfare, a talisman, a white knight, a do-or-die competitive legend, and a man able to turn defeat into victory.

The “Nobel Peace Prize Winner” Obama and Mr. Brennan issued themselves a license to kill anyone, anywhere at any time in the name of national security. Unlike the most famous figure–007–Mr. Obama and Mr. Brennan feel they answer to no one for their actions. They randomly identify anyone as a terrorist without any proof, even Americans without due process. The most controversial target of the Obama regime was an American born teenage son of Nassar al-Awlaki, a known American born terrorist.

“Much of our foreign policy now depends on the hope of benevolent dictators and philosopher kings. The law can’t help. The law is what the kings say it is.”—Ta-Nehisi Coates, writing for The Atlantic

“If George Bush had done this, it would have been stopped.”—Joe Scarborough, former Republican congressman and current MSNBC pundit

When Barack Obama ascended to the presidency in 2008, there was a sense, at least among those who voted for him, that the country might change for the better. Those who watched in awe as President Bush chipped away at our civil liberties over the course of his two terms as president thought that maybe this young, charismatic Senator from Illinois would reverse course and put an end to some of the Bush administration’s worst transgressions—the indefinite detention of suspected terrorists, the torture, the black site prisons, and the never-ending wars that have drained our resources, to name just a few.

A few short years later, that fantasy has proven to be just that: a fantasy. Indeed, Barack Obama has not only carried on the Bush legacy, but has taken it to its logical conclusion. As president, Obama has gone beyond Guantanamo Bay, gone beyond spying on Americans’ emails and phone calls, and gone beyond bombing countries without Congressional authorization. He now claims, as revealed in a leaked Department of Justice memo, the right to murder any American citizen the world over, so long as he has a feeling that they might, at some point in the future, pose a threat to the United States.

“While I expect to have a very profitable year with my investments and businesses, I can’t seem to shake this nagging suspicion that 2013 may also be one of the most devastating years in American history. Sadly, our nation has become a shadow of its former self. In times past, Americans were often admired by other nations for their strange blend of self-reliance and self-sacrifice. Today, however, Americans have become victims of their own success,” he explained.

“In the not-too-distant past, we were a people who made things. We were a nation of producers and relied heavily upon global consumers to purchase our well-made exports. Today, America’s specialty is consumption and our number one export is a worthless piece of paper known as the U.S. dollar.

Fed Up: How To Beat an Incumbent President by Bill Sardi

April 19, 2012 Leave a comment

October surprises

So how do you unseat a reigning President who by the way can pull off an October surprise, like a war with Iran, or a terrorist attack, to create public insecurity that gets incumbents re-elected?

Don’t forget, this President got rescued from a horrible public approval rating by pulling a rabbit out of his hat – an undeserved Nobel Peace Prize. And when the President and the Federal Reserve Bank chairman, Ben Bernanke, briefed the nation on financial matters in a Thursday press conference in early May of 2011, the markets began to tumble and gold prices soared on speculation the Fed was planning to print more money to dig itself out of the nation’s financial grave. By Monday it was anticipated the stock market would crash. How did the federal government side-step this impending crisis? The White House pulled another rabbit out of its hat with the Sunday evening announcement that 9-11 terrorist Osama din Laden had been shot and killed in Pakistan. So it’s likely the administration has lots of other publicity stunts like this up its sleeves.

It’s the total load of negative stories that sways voters

One way to dethrone a reigning President is to keep pouring out the negative stories that don’t involve the President at all. That way they don’t appear to be propaganda by the opposing party. A continued barrage of negative stories about the federal government can finally push voters to say they “have had enough” and they will opt for the other guy.

Obama 2012 – May The Farce Be With You | Veterans Today

February 9, 2012 1 comment

In four years, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Barack Obama, the agent of hope and change, has become the prince of darkness and his presidency has become a farce ~ an absurdly futile exercise in pretense and broken promises from a president who cloaks himself in armor and answers only to the global elite.

I am a former progressive Democrat, now a proud member of a vast army of Independents, who are fed up with a president who was obviously selected by the global elite, and elected to maintain the status quo ~ and most certainly does not deserve another four years to deliver on the false promises he made four years ago.

I’m tired of being lied to, I’m tired of watching our liberties rapidly erode under the tattered banner of the War on Terror and I’m tired of watching and experiencing our constitutional right of public dissent being marginalized and suppressed in order to maintain an out of control and still unregulated Wall Street ~ as well as a rapidly expanding Prison Industrial complex and a growing militarized police state.

A recent Human Rights Watch report has revealed critical issues facing Americans today including severe poverty, child labor, overcrowded prisons and a flawed judicial system. Here are my recent brief comments on Press TV regarding these points along with US government tactics of suppressing citizen rights amid on going movements aimed at exposing the unequal distribution of wealth and power in government and business. And what does the establishment really fear? The answer is an empowered people armed with the truth! 3 minute video

Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize Win Leads to Formal Investigation of Award

STOCKHOLM, Sweden AP — Nobel Peace Prize officials were facing a formal inquiry over accusations they have drifted away from the prize’s original selection criteria by choosing such winners as President Barack Obama, as the nomination deadline for the 2012 awards closed Wednesday. The investigation comes after persistent complaints by a Norwegian peace researcher that the original purpose of the prize was to diminish the role of military power in international relations.

If the Stockholm County Administrative Board, which supervises foundations in Sweden’s capital, finds that prize founder Alfred Nobel’s will is not being honored, it has the authority to suspend award decisions going back three years – though that would be unlikely and unprecedented, said Mikael Wiman, a legal expert working for the county.Excerpt Read more at theblaze.com …

Obama Weakens the Military…

Si vis pacem, para bellum.” If you want peace, plan for war. The adage is attributed to the 4th or 5th century Latin author Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus’s tract De Re Militari book 3. This fundamental wisdom is being ignored by President Obama, one of two recent Commanders-in-Chief who never spent a day in uniform, let alone under fire.In a recent American Thinker commentary by Jim Yardley, he said, “It is apparent that the president, in developing his strategy, used the same extensive knowledge, his superior intellect, and worldly wealth of experience that he brought to his strategy for his $800-billion stimulus, his strategy for providing cost-free health care to millions of Americans, and his strategy for using ‘smart diplomacy’ to defuse not spots around the world.”Perhaps receiving the Nobel Peace Prize barely months into his first year as President has convinced Obama that he is the man to get all our enemies to join hands and sing Kumbaya.

Obama accepted the prize that has gone to other seekers of peace like Yassir Arafat, founder of the Palestinian Liberation Organization or co-winners, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Al Gore.

When I read a story yesterday about an 89-year-old woman being water-boarded by nursing home staff over an argument about ice cream, I knew something terrible was amiss across the American landscape. Spontaneous acts of tyranny have been cropping up lately like cancer tumors: a food tyrant in Nevada raids a farm picnic and orders everyone to destroy their food (http://www.naturalnews.com/034125_f…); student protesters in California get pepper-sprayed by thuggish cops who clearly enjoy causing pain and suffering (http://fieldnotes.msnbc.msn.com/_ne…); and now nursing home staffers torture their own resident using techniques borrowed from Guantanamo Bay (http://atlanta.cbslocal.com/2011/11…).

Obama Sends US Troops to Uganda

While America occupies Iraq and Afghanistan, wages covert war on Pakistan, conducts drone attacks on Yemen and Somalia, bombards Libya, and positions for a wider confrontation with Iran and Syria, Nobel Peace Prize Laurette President Obama has now quietly, without much fanfare, sent 100 US troops to help Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni crush rebels threatening his 25 year dictatorship.

In what is essentially a “reverse-Libyan-style” intervention, the US is sending troops to crush, not assist rebels rising up against their despotic ruler. Ironically, just as with Libya’s rebels, Uganda’s rebels are also listed as a foreign terrorist organization by the US State Department. Instead of the corporate-financier contrived International Criminal Court issuing fictitious warrants for Uganda’s head of state, as was done with Qaddafi in Libya, it is the Ugandan rebel leader, Joseph Kony, who is being targeted.

Both the Ugandan government (with US assistance) and the rebels, known as the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), are accused of perpetrating heinous atrocities against their enemies and civilian populations in their decades long conflict. In particular, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has just recently presided over the mass murdering and displacement of 20,000 of his own people on behalf of British corporations who sought to construct tree plantations on their land. US and British military assistance and business deals with the Ugandan government have been a ubiquitous feature throughout Museveni’s perpetual, unending term as president.

While mutilated victims of the LRA are just now being paraded in front of the public to frame the recent US troop deployment as another “humanitarian intervention,” it is more than likely that geopolitical aspirations, not humanitarian concerns, are driving this agenda. This is especially so considering just how equally abhorrent the Ugandan government’s human rights record is.

The LRA has often been harbored by the Sudanese government (now the South Sudanese government). Sudan has served as a proxy battlefield between the West and China for control over of its vast oil holdings and ultimately as part of a greater battle to control Africa’s resources. Sudan appears to have used the LRA as a sort of armed buffer between them and their neighbors, in particular, Uganda, ruled by an eager servant of the Anglo-American agenda.

A d v e r t i s e m e n t

Surely, as Africa, a forsaken continent, is already written off in the minds of many Americans, little concern and few eyebrow will be lifted as their Nobel Peace Prize-wearing president sends yet more troops off to war there, in a global military expansion quickly and alarmingly approaching the scale and scope of Adolf Hitler’s expansion across Europe and Northern Africa during World War II. This is difficult to deny when the final tally is done – the United States is conducting either covert or overt military operations in at least 8 nations – Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Libya, Pakistan, and now Uganda – and has 820 military installations in at least 135 countries. As Wall Street and London seek global hegemony, the price Americans pay as this tally grows will only increase. However far flung Uganda may seem, every inch of expansion by the globalists is one inch less for free humanity.

Identify the corporate-financier interests engineering and driving this agenda, boycott andreplace them.

Debate: Has President Obama lived up to his Nobel Peace Prize? (With Poll to FReep)

The following is an excerpt of my interview with Thorbjørn Jagland, Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, which is responsible for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize. In this section, Jagland speaks about whether Obama lived up to the expectations of the Nobel Peace Prize he was awarded in 2009. The rest of the interview will be published later today covering topics from the tragedy in Norway to Europe‘s role in Central Asia.

Has President Obama lived up to his Nobel Peace Prize?

Yes, I think so. I’m as convinced as I was when he got it that he deserved it for many reasons. He changed so many things in American foreign policy; During three months’ time, he, for instance and that’s what’s the main reason why he got the prize, namely that he paved the way for new negotiations with the Russian Federation about nuclear arms. If you look at the will of Alfred Nobel that goes directly to what he said that the prize should go to the person that has worked for – he called it reduction of standing armies but in today’s terms it means arm control and disarmament. So President Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize because he paved the way for such negotiations; he said that he was willing to discuss the nuclear shield of Europe and therefore, the Russians were beginning to come back to the table and negotiations started again.

US voters are not mad. Our stereotype of them is patronising and wrong

August 20, 2011 Leave a comment

America is a country of mad people governed by buffoons. That’s the way a lot of Europeans are content to see it, no matter how much they love the US in other ways. A country of mad people because they are so religious, violent, overweight and in denial about things that look obvious from here but which the flag-wavers over there refuse to get. Governed by buffoons because, for the past half-century, from Lyndon Johnson to George W Bush, no US president was truly respected in much of this continent. Not even Reagan on the right or Clinton on the left. All of them, in various ways, were laughable.

That changed in 2008. With one mighty bound, the nation of mad people became a nation of visionaries, electing not a buffoon but an incredibly cool, incredibly smart, incredibly articulate leader who was so progressive and sensitive that, guess what, he might almost have been one of us. Except that, inconveniently, he wasn’t. But that didn’t matter. We gave him the Nobel peace prize when he’d only been in office for five minutes and drooled whenever he looked in our direction.

Now, with 15 months to go before the next US presidential election, a spectre is haunting Europe. The spectre is the possibility Barack Obama might not be re-elected. In fact it’s more than that. It’s the sense, among a lot of Europeans and a lot of progressives – US ones too – that Obama wasn’t as great as he seemed and that, as a result, he has allowed the mad people to get their act together again and prepare to elect another buffoon next November. Prejudices confirmed. Comfort zone resumed.

John Rambo, Cordell Walker, Jack Bauer, America can add to their pantheon of relentless killers….and this one has a Nobel Peace Prize.

President Barack Obama has surprised some who expected that the liberal president would be weak on fighting terrorism, but his aggressive action has earned him compliments from conservative radio host Dennis Miller, who has provided him a new nickname: the “Killing Machine.”

“I told you months ago,” Miller told his audience Monday morning reacting to Bin Laden’s death, “Barack Obama is a killing machine.”

To date not only has the President authorized the hit on Osama Bin Laden, but also provided for the killing of numerous other threats, including but not limited to: 3 Somali pirates; Baitullah Mehsud; Najmiddin Jalolov; Saleh al-Somali; Abdallah Sa’id, Hakimullah Mehsud; Kaddafi’s youngest son and three grandchildren; thousands via his large increase in drone attacks; and has ordered the assassination of the American terrorist Imam Anwar al-Awlaki.

Obama intensified the Bush administration’s effort in Afghanistan and Pakistan, increasing troop levels and number of stealth drone attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

“These tools were not Obama creations, but he’s increased their use and he has shifted the U.S. attention full front to Afghanistan,” said Thomas Sanderson, a defense analyst and national security fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Some of his hawkish political critics have praised Obama’s drone efforts as well.

“The efforts overseas are bearing fruit,” said South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham. “I give them generally high marks for their efforts to capture and kill terrorists in Pakistan, and they’re pushing the envelope in Yemen.”

Former Bush administration officials also had words of congratulations regarding Bin Laden’s death.

“It says to those that would harm us out there that it takes patience, but we keep working at these issues across administrations, across presidencies, and we will eventually get you,” said Former Secretary of State Condelezza Rice.

Many critics have noted, however, that Obama’s success comes largely as a result of the Bush administration’s interrogation policies.

Obama: War Hypocrite

March 22, 2011 Leave a comment

It is official, Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize winning President of an unprovoked country, has launched an attack on, Libya, a Mideast country. So much for that moral high ground Obama and the Democrats claimed with the U.S. invasion of Iraq. So much for Obama’s “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” as predicted by the Norwegian Nobel Committee that issued Obama the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009.

So much for that Obama rhetoric that the future of those Mideast countries “will be determined by its people.” Those days are over, Obama is a war hypocrite.Excerpt Read more at hollywoodrepublican.net …

Neo-Cons Applaud Obama’s War, Call For Occupation Of Libya

March 21, 2011 Leave a comment

While applauding Barack Obama’s involvement of U.S. forces in air strikes, influential neo-con Bill Kristol told Fox News that America should go further than merely bombarding Libya and send in ground troops as “peacekeepers,” embroiling the bankrupt United States in yet another foreign occupation while enabling Muslim extremists fighting Gaddafi to rise to power.Video courtesy of Raw Story.

Enthusiastically backing Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama’s decision to follow UN orders and launch air strikes against a sovereign nation with zero congressional approval, Bill Kristol, co-founder of the Project for the New American Century, the infamous group of neo-cons that called for the U.S. government to exploit a “new Pearl Harbor” before 9/11 as a means of aggressively expanding the U.S. empire and occupying the middle east, appeared on Fox News yesterday to make it clear that the number one aim of the mission in Libya was neo-colonial regime change.

the United Nations resolution that preceded the air strikes was focused around a “no fly zone” unless of course you’re dropping bombs from America, British or French fighter jets, and it specifically forbade ground troops unless of course you’re members of the British SAS, Kristol told host Chris Wallace that he “Would not rule out ultimately having to go in with peacekeeping and nation stabilizing forces.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if we do that at the end of the day.”While acknowledging the token pretext of ‘protecting civilians’, a justification that has now entered the realms of absurdity as an aggressive military assault quickly unfolds and the U.S. turns a blind eye to atrocities carried out by its allies in Bahrain and Yemen, Kristol made it brazenly clear what the “Odyssey Dawn” operation was really all about.

Dennis Kucinich Wonders Why Missile Strikes Aren’t Impeachable Offenses

March 20, 2011 Leave a comment

Yesterday, US and British forces launched over 100 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Libya in an attempt to knock out its air defenses.A group of left-wing House Democrats are fretting about the constitutionality of this military action military action seems to be about the only time this bunch worries about constitutionality.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich — who recently awarded himself the Purple Molar for injuries he sustained single-handedly attempting to thwart an olive pit attack at the congressional cafeteria — is even talking about impeachment:

A hard-core group of liberal House Democrats is questioning the constitutionality of U.S. missile strikes against Libya, with one lawmaker raising the prospect of impeachment during a Democratic Caucus conference call on Saturday.Reps. Jerrold Nadler N.Y., Donna Edwards Md., Mike Capuano Mass., Dennis Kucinich Ohio, Maxine Waters Calif., Rob Andrews N.J., Sheila Jackson Lee Texas, Barbara Lee Calif. and Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton D.C. “all strongly raised objections to the constitutionality of the president’s actions” during that call, said two Democratic lawmakers who took part.

Kucinich, who wanted to bring impeachment articles against both former President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney over Iraq — only to be blocked by his own leadership — asked why the U.S. missile strikes aren’t impeachable offenses. I love the smell of a potential primary challenge in the morning.Others on the left who helped carry Obama into office on their shoulders are going apoplectic as well.

Michael Moore suggested that Obama return his Nobel Peace Prize and compared him to Bush a charge that will be especially hard for Obama to avoid if he’s going to recycle W’s speeches, but at least that might help keep the greens happy. Louis Farrakhan asked Obama “Who the hell do you think you are?” Obama’s even lost Joan Baez, and you know how the old saying goes: If you’ve lost an aging folk singer from the 60′s, you’ve lost… well, not much actually.

The Emperor’s Pink Burka
By Judi McLeod Full Story

imageCompletely missed amid the agonizing cries of human misery in Egypt is that the ending of a United Nations fairytale is being written.  The bum’s rush for President Hosni Mubarak has now gone global and from out of nowhere the Muslim Brotherhood-endorsed Mohamed El Bardei has arrived on the protest scene.  El Baradei’s got the Nobel Peace Prize.  All he’s really missing is the white horse.

Egypt will be turned over to radical Islam leadership.  And it would never have happened without President Barack Obama, who first ran the white flag flying over America up the flagpole—without the permission or knowledge of the American people—on April 6, 2010.

Noam Chomsky: ‘President Obama Is Involved In War Crimes Right Now’ Marxist vs. Marxist

September 13, 2010 Leave a comment

Need more evidence that, with midterm elections looming, the traditional base of support for President Obama is eroding? Consider the recent comments made by Noam Chomsky that sound remarkably similar to anti-Bush rhetoric of roughly three years ago. All that’s missing is a comparison to Hitler. Oh wait…seems like he did that too.In an interview for the New Statesmen, Alyssa McDonald writes:

What are your thoughts on President Obama? He’s involved in war crimes right now. For example, targeted assassinations are war crimes. That’s escalated quite sharply under Obama. If you look at WikiLeaks, there are a lot of examples of attacks on civilians. What did you think when he was given the Nobel Peace Prize? Considering the history of the Nobel Peace Prize, it’s not the worst example.

It was given to him before he had the time to commit many war crimes. Is there any point in us being in Afghanistan? We wouldn’t have asked in 1985: “Is there any point in the Russians being in Afghanistan?” The fact is that the invasion was a crime. Then comes the question: “Is there any point in continuing?” But that presupposes legitimacy. Putting aside questions of morality and legality and simply asking about the goals of the US government is a very narrow consideration.

Amok on Arizona

September 2, 2010 Leave a comment

An indignant President Obama complained last week, “I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead.”

Fine.

How about plastering a copy of his presidential oath of office there instead?

The commander-in-chief is in dire need of a daily reminder that his job is to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” — not international law or global diktats.

Case in point: Last week, Obama’s State Department handed in America’s first-ever report to the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights in conjunction with something called the “Universal Periodic Review.”

In short, the document is a self-aggrandizing report card touting the administration’s far-left domestic-and foreign-policy initiatives for the world’s approval. The report boasts of racialand gender-bean-counting in the executive branch; Justice Department outreach to Muslim grievance groups opposed to post-9/11 security measures; payoffs to teachers unions in the federal stimulus law; continuing commitment to closing the Gitmo detention facility for enemy combatants, and the illusory life-saving effects of ObamaCare on minorities through “expanding community-health centers” which have yet to be built, but not that it matters in our Nobel Peace Prize-winning president’s age of post-achievement.
