The NYPD Declares Martial Law in Brooklyn… | Alternative
(Before It’s News) On the heels of three nights of protests over the police slaying of 16 year old Kimani Gray, the NYPD has turned the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn into a State of Exception, claiming emergency powers to suspend the constitutional guarantees of the citizenry.
The people regularly targeted by police harassment and violence, overwhelmingly the city’s poor and minority populations, have taken to the streets to speak out against the NYPD’s draconian tactics. The police have in turn responded with even further harsh measures by suppressing the right of the people to voice dissatisfaction with that very same police force.
Cops kettled protesters at Wednesday night’s candlelight vigil, resulting in 46 arrests. Police even arrested Kimani Gray’s distraught sister, Mahnefeh.
The NYPD euphemistically calls the public spaces in which the Constitutional rights of the people are suspended “frozen zones.”

The reason why nothing changes to reverse the foreign policy of the imperial empire is that international globalists control the country. The horrors of two world wars, the cold war, Korea and Viet Nam destroyed the essential wisdom practiced at the inception of the nation. The incessant intrusion into the Middle East brings us to the brink of WW III.

Now the next frontier is being prepared to include Asia, Africa and the Arctic. As long as the public accepts a foreign policy of an arrogant super power, the path to oblivion for the Republic is ensured.

Staged crisis leading to suspended elections could happen on our watch
The closer America gets to Election Day, the more some worry about the possibility of there not being one.
Obama is smiling all the way through the polls, and it may not merely be whistling past the cemetery this time.
‘Occupy Batman’ storms Gotham City
If we were to judge only by the script, wading through the thick socialist mantras espoused by various characters in “The Dark Knight Rises,” we might conclude the newest Batman movie is an Occupy Wall Street dream: loaded with class warfare, “power to the people” and share-and-share-alike communist sentiment.
But a movie is far more than its script, and an honest examination of the film reveals a very different picture.
Consider the following conversations and scenes, which are not merely throwaway lines, but a prominent theme of the movie:
“It will leave them [the wealthy] wondering how they could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.”
“This is a stock exchange! There’s no money you can steal here,” the victim cries out, to which the character Bane responds, “Then why are you here?”
After Bruce Wayne is bankrupted, he’s taunted, “How’s it feel to be one of the people, Mr. Wayne?” but after it’s discovered he gets to keep his mansion, it’s lamented, “The rich don’t even go broke the same as the rest of us.”

RUSH: It has been quite instructive. This has been very, very illustrative, ladies and gentlemen. Yesterday on this program I uttered some words about the new Batman movie, and the evil villain named Bane. I made some comments about it. Doesn’t matter what. I have had more reaction to that than anything, including the Fluke thing. I’ve had my brother telling me that Twitter is going nuts. I’ve been getting hateful e-mail, supportive e-mail. More people are concerned about whatever I might have said or didn’t say about a Batman villain than they are about their own jobs. It’s incredible. But, as I say, it’s quite instructive, and it’s quite illustrative.
I never said that the villain was created by the comic book character creator to be part of the 2012 campaign. I never said that at all. Everybody’s out there running around saying I got this giant conspiracy theory that the Batman people, the creators, the comic book creators, created this thing to campaign against Romney. I never said that. I didn’t say there was a conspiracy. I said the Democrats were going to use it, which they are. Jon Stewart‘s harping on it.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: I even said yesterday at the end of my whole Batman discussion that Batman is more like Romney. I made the point that the rich, wealthy hero in the Batman movie is more like Romney and that the Bane guy seems more like an Occupy Wall Street guy. And yet here I am supposedly articulating a conspiracy between the comic book creators and the Obama campaign, that somehow they created this villain with the same name as Romney’s venture capital company, private equity company.
No. All I said yesterday was that the Democrats are going to try to make that linkage. I got our old buddy Jon Stewart here, in fact, doing the same. We got sound bites out the wazoo on this. Snerdley came in here, people were calling him at three o’clock in the morning, “You better tell Rush he’s got this all wrong. These guys are very conservative, these Batman creators, they’re very conservative.” This thing spread like wildlife. A comic book villain, a comic book character… A discussion about a comic book villain gets people more irritated and agitated than Obama’s assault on the private sector, than Obama’s assault on jobs.
Oh, and now the left is out there saying we took Obama out of context on this. “You’re not reporting on the sentence he said before. He was talking about you didn’t build the roads yourself.” You got a successful factory or successful business, you didn’t do that, you didn’t build the road. Okay, fine, if you want to make that claim. Somebody tell me, is having a road in front of your business what makes it a success? If having a road in front of your business, every business would be a roaring success. I don’t care how you leftists try to spin it, you’ve got a guy who deeply resents the private sector, deeply resents capitalism. He’s campaigning against capitalism. The president of the United States campaigning for reelection is running against capitalism, and you can try to mask that and deflect that all you want but the truth is the truth and it can’t be denied.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Yes, I know, Snerdley. The Batman thing, it is quite indicative, is it not? Snerdley said that it unglued him. He’s getting calls at two or three in the morning. “You tell Rush that he’s got this wrong.” You know, even the creator, Chuck Dixon, weighed in on it. I had a story in the stack yesterday but I didn’t get to it. One the creators, Chuck Dixon, said (paraphrased), “Oh, no. Oh, no. Now Rush is gonna call me a liberal again. Hell, I’m not a liberal. He called me this on the last Batman movie.”
These Batman movies thematically, if you look at them open-mindedly, tend to be conservative in terms of right and wrong/good and evil. But like I pointed out yesterday, Batman is Romney. The good guy’s Romney. This Bane character, I pointed out the spelling is different.

Was Jesus a Communist? Hollywood, Communist Party Say “Yes”
Jesus Was A Commie. That’s the title of actor Matthew Modine’s short documentary film that’s been winning film festival awards and critical acclaim.
In Jesus Was A Commie, Modine, who wrote, directed, acted, and narrated the film, says:
Paul McGuire — The Whole World is Watching: Nato and the Chicago Summit
The NATO Chicago Summit will bring in 28 heads of state to discuss NATO’s new “Smart Defense” program which promotes, “a renewed culture of cooperation that encourages Allies to cooperate.” However, on May 10, 2012 Russia’s Vladimir Putin sent a warning to both the U.S. and NATO in a Victory Day speech in Red Square about military action against Iran and Syria.

CHICAGO, IL – MAY 20: Protesters, many affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement, march down a street on the first day of the NATO summit on May 20, 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. Sixty heads of state, 2,500 journalists and thousands of protesters have converged on Chicago for the two day NATO meeting which begins on Sunday and will look to address the situation in Afghanistan among other global defense issues. The world’s biggest banks are working with one another and police to gather intelligence as protesters try to rejuvenate the Occupy Wall Street movement with May demonstrations, industry security consultants said.
Among 99 protest targets in midtown Manhattan on Tuesday are JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America offices, said Marisa Holmes, a member of Occupy’s May Day planning committee.

Events are scheduled in more than 115 cities, including an effort to shut down the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, where Wells Fargo investors relied on police to get past protests at their annual meeting this week.
“Our goal is to kick off the spring offensive and go directly to where the financial elite play and plan,” she said.
After evictions and arrests from Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park to London that began last year, the movement against income inequality and corporate abuse will regain strength, said Brian McNary, director of global risk at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations.
Occupy prepares nationwide May Day mayhem
Occupy’s plans for nationwide May Day chaos are going ahead full-speed ahead, with the movement boasting of “direct action” schemes that include protest marches, shutting down the financial sector, and blocking bridges and tunnels.
The group’s official websites announce plans to “occupy” Manhattan-bound bridges and tunnels as well as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Tuesday.

The day after Easter, April 9, 2012 was chosen as the one to unleash chaos and confusion on the unsuspecting masses.
It’s the day after Easter and the New Black Panthers (NBP) and Occupy Wall Street (OWS) are kicking off the Revolution.
“Shock Video: “Suited, booted and armed. Unbelievable audio from the NBP on Bloody, Anti-capitalist, ‘Race War’ against White Devils. We’re talking about some blood, is the cover story on The Blaze this morning.
Beginning the ‘training’ of some 100,000 activists with mostly George Soros money, the same day message from OWS is “This Spring We Rise!”
It’s more plan than coincidence that both parties are heading toward anarchy on the same day.
Like unrepentant domestic terrorist ‘Billy Boy’ Ayers says he wakes up each morning hoping for the end of capitalism, NBP and OWS are turning the clock back, starting today to their long ago heyday of the 1960s.
While the NBP are coming right out and calling for blood, OWS have ‘re-branded’, David Axelrod astroturf style.
“On April 9-15 we will gather across America 100,000 strong, in homes, places of worship, campuses and the streets to train ourselves in non-violent action and join together in the work of reclaiming our country. History is calling; it’s time to step up,” is OWS ridiculous new’ message.
Both NBP and OWS are emboldened because only days ago, their masters the Muslim Brotherhood, who kicked off the First Revolution as Arab Spring, opening the way for worldwide revolution, left the White House 1.5 billion dollars richer. The Brotherhood has gone over to the 1% side.
George Soros predicts riots, police state and class war for America from the architect himself

Billionaire investor George Soros has a new prediction for America. While it might be as dire as it gets for the financial wiz, this bet concerns more than just the value of the buck. According to Soros, there’s about to be an all-out class war.Soros, 81, previously bet against the British pound in the early 90s and made $1 billion off its collapse. In the years since, he’s remained active in investing, but also in advocacy.
He’s helped keep Wikipedia afloat thanks to impressive contributions and through donations to the Tides Center, has indirectly funded Adbusters, the Canadian anti-capitalist magazine that put Occupy Wall Street on the map. Speaking to Newsweek recently, Soros neglected to acknowledge his past successes, but instead offered a word of warning: a period of “evil” is coming to the western world.“I am not here to cheer you up.
The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros tells Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse.
The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”Soros goes on to compare the current state of the western world with what the Soviet Union was facing as communism crumbled. Although he would think that history would have taught the globe a thing or two about noticing trends, Soros says that, despite past events providing a perfect example of what is to come, the end of an empire seems imminent.“The collapse of the Soviet system was a pretty extraordinary event, and we are currently experiencing something similar in the developed world, without fully realizing what’s happening,” adds Soros.Soros goes on to say that as the crisis in the Eurozone only worsens, the American financial system will continue to be hit hard. On the way to a full-blown collapse, he cautions, Americans should expect society to alter accordingly. Riots will hit the streets, says Soros, and as a result, “It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”
For the Love of Marx (“There are more Marxists teaching in Sociology Departments in America than living in the former Soviet Union”)
There are more Marxists teaching in Sociology Departments in America than living in the former Soviet Union. These sociologists hold themselves out as scientists despite the fact that they fail consistently in their efforts to predict the future. In fact, most of them lack the competence to accurately predict the past. Among the least competent and most intellectually dishonest is Gary L. Faulkner, Professor Emeritus from the University of North Carolina.
Faulkner recently claimed that Marx predicted the events we are seeing in the Occupy Wall Street movement. He also claimed that events from the 20th Century bolster the credibility of Marx as both an economist and political prophet. He further castigates Republicans for their refusal to embrace Marxism. Faulkner states, “There is something really ironic about Republican’s hatred of Marxism. Years ago Marx predicted capitalism would collapse. The reason – workers would rebel.”

Social networking giant maintains ‘Kill Zimmerman’ page despite massive condemnation
Paul Joseph Watson
Friday, March 30, 2012
Twitter has refused to delete a profile page advocating the violent murder of George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin, even after a massive media backlash and despite the social network’s regular practice of deleting accounts for the comparatively minor offense of spamming celebrities or discussing certain political issues.
Twitter: Spamming Celebrities Not OK, Advocating Murder is Fine 300312top
The profile page features an image of Zimmerman in crosshairs and includes tweets such as “Fuck the government. & #KILLZIMMERMAN,” “Rt if you think Zimmerman should Be Shot Instead Of Goon To Jail #KILLZIMMERMAN,” “Since I don’t have a date or escort I’m thinking about running away and killing Zimmerman,” “we should just all get up and #killzimmerman ourselves; fuck the system,” and “I ain’t no hater but I hate that cracka.”
One of the Tweets also expresses support for the fact that Obama has publicly involved himself in the Trayvon Martin controversy.
The page has been active for around a week and despite widespread media attention, Twitter has refused to remove the profile.
Is Twitter taking a political stance amidst one of the most racially charged public debates America has ever seen by keeping the ‘Kill Zimmerman’ page active? A brief summary of pages that were deleted by the company in the recent past suggests the answer is yes.
Blogger David Seaman had his Twitter account temporarily suspended after sending out numerous tweets trying to get celebrities with large numbers of followers to draw attention to issues such as the NDAA and Occupy Wall Street. The fact that Seaman was sending so many messages to celebrities was characterized as spamming by Twitter.
Apparently, according to Twitter spamming celebrities is not OK, but advocating murder is perfectly acceptable.
OWS & the planned “endgame” for the U.S.
Are you baffled by the wording, timing and bipartisan support of recent legislation such as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the Expatriation Act, SOPA, PIPA and ACTA? Are you concerned over the enhancement of domestic security measures that appear to be targeting and incrementally ripping away the rights of law abiding American citizens? Are you concerned about the evolving DHS “domestic extremist” definitions?
Have you wondered about the true origins of the financial crises and what appears to be a quickening of events in all sectors of our lives? How about the origins of the current “Occupy Movement?” When and why everything started? Who and what is to blame? If so, you’re not alone.
We conducted an extensive investigation of the occupy movement to identify the people involved, as well as the money and influence behind it. What we found is that nothing related to the “Occupy Movement” is what it appears. In fact, nothing from Arab Spring, to DHS policy and beyond is what it appears to be. We found unsettling relationships between people, elected and appointed officials, groups, and organizations that extend back many years.
Investigative integrity demands a deliberate blindness to political party affiliations, but not ignorance to political associations. Consequently, our results will most assuredly anger many on both sides of the political aisle. If it does, we’ll know that we’ve done our job. Our findings might also brand us as conspiracy theorists too. If so, we’ll know that we’ve done our job well. Our findings are bound to make some people nervous. We hope they do, as we will then know that we’ve put our investigative skills and experience to good use.

Every day, like vultures circling a fallen prey, they descend upon the centers of political power with their hands outstretched and without a hint of compunction or embarrassment, they beg, lobby, or riot for what they consider to be their “fair” portion of the sweat, blood and tears of those who are successful, self-reliant, responsible and independent.
Black, white, tan, red or yellow, these mostly urban beggars and whiners epitomize the Occupy Wall Street crowd that say they aren’t getting their fair share of America’s wealth and demand that those that produce and earn their way must cough up more in taxes to pay those who won’t work and want something for nothing, using the power of government to get it, in a grand scheme of wealth redistribution.

Recently outraged Internet theologians took umbrage at my refusal to join the effort to transform Jesus into a big government, liberal Democrat that supports the Occupy squatters.
Most echoed secular interpreters of Christ who claim, “Jesus shares many of the values of those in the Occupy movement.”
I contend Jesus had plenty of time to confront civil authority, yet Christ focused on religious authority. He didn’t discuss politics with the centurion or tax rates with Matthew. In fact the only system of government approved by God was that of the judges, and the Jews disliked that arrangement so much they demanded a king.
Democracy and social justice are not mentioned in the New Testament because it’s not a political science or economics text. The Word is directed at individuals and not Wall Street, corporations, the GOP, Congress or the Koch brothers.

As partisans on the left and right try to co-opt and compare the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street movements, both sides ignore that they aren’t really that different at all. Both, in fact, hew to the same conventions as all mass movements. And as the 2012 presidential candidates — including President Obama — attempt to form their positions on each one, they’d all be wise to put them in perspective.
In Eric Hoffer’s seminal 1951 work, “The True Believer: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements,” the similarity is drawn with startling clarity.

First, in September ObamaFriend Van Jones told ObamaChannel MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell that there was going to be a progressives’ “October Offensive against Capitalism.” Then, Obama mentor and persona non grata in virtually every country save ObamaLand (aka the former USA), is funding the OWS largely via his Tides Foundation.
The Police State vs. Occupy Wall Street: This Is Not Going To End Well for Any of Us
It would be nice if all Occupy Wall Street protests would be 100% non-violent.
It would be nice if the police would be reasonable and would carry out their duties with gentleness and respect.
But sadly, those things are probably not going to happen.
The civil unrest we are seeing now is only the beginning.
Things are going to get a lot worse.
If things keep getting escalated to “the next level”, eventually we will see martial law imposed in some of our largest cities.
Don’t think that it can’t happen.
The United States is increasingly becoming a very unstable place.
As America comes apart at the seams, this is not going to end well for any of us.

Occupy epidemic! Brace yourself for United States of Chaos
The Occupy movement is set to launch nationwide chaos today as part of a new, revolutionary phase of the anti-capitalist campaign.
The New York division aims to deploy a “three-course meal” of so-called direct action that apparently includes the blocking of subways and bridges as well as shutting down the stock market, as WND was first to report earlier this week.
Such confrontational tactics are now set for cities across the U.S.

In light of the new threats, the New York Police Department yesterday cleared Occupy’s Zuccotti Park headquarters, with a judge upholding a ban on protesters returning with tents, bedrolls or any material that can be used to create a new encampment.
