The instructor also compared Christianity and Roman Catholicism with Sunni Muslims and the Ku Klux Klan. In fact, among the bullet points contained in the brief’s PowerPoint presentation, the first example of extremism listed was Evangelical Christianity. That was the top of the list. The Muslim Brotherhood, “Ultra-Orthodox” Jews, and “Christian Identity” followed it.

Democrat officials convicted of making up names for qualifying petition”
Two Democrats in Indiana have been found guilty of submitting unauthorized names on the petition that placed then-Sen. Barack Obama on the 2008 presidential election primary ballot, meaning he likely did not qualify.

Some of the issues that were uncovered:
•Seventy-five GOP vote inspectors were ordered to leave Philadelphia poll locations by Democrat poll judges. One judge was caught on audio. A court order sent them back but it’s unknown what happened when they were gone. These poll locations were all within the 59 precincts where Romney received no votes.
•In Philadelphia, the Community Voters Project, an ACORN clone that employs some former ACORN workers, shredded Republican voter registrations. It’s not the first time they have been in trouble.
•The Florida AFL-CIO threatened True the Vote and Tampa Fair Vote with legal action for submitting voter registration challenges.
•Maryland Representative Elijah Cummings issued a highly publicized threat against True the Vote and Election Integrity Maryland just for checking voter rolls. EIM found 11,000 questionable registrations, including 1,566 dead voters. The Maryland Board of Elections took no action.

The man claims the woman assaulted him on Feb. 27 while he was at Temple University Hospital recovering from a motorcycle accident.
A 65-year-old man says a young female nurse raped him while he was recovering from a motorcycle accident at a Philadelphia hospital last month.
The man, who has not been identified, said a Temple University Hospital nurse in her 20s entered his room at around 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 27, offered to bathe him and then sexually assaulted him in a bathroom, NBC Philadelphia reported.

In the early years of our country’s history the United States of America operated under the Articles of Confederation. On paper this document was largely similar to the Constitution we have today, yet some have argued in hindsight that the Articles served as a better protector of individual liberty. But if this were true, why did Americans who had just suffered through so much to establish freedom ever decide to abandon the Articles in favor of the Constitution? After all, the Constitution was ratified by a clear majority of delegates to state conventions.

In fact, the vote was unanimous in three states and the average approval in the rest of the states was well over 60%. Furthermore, a majority of these delegates were men who would later go on to vote overwhelmingly for Democratic-Republicans. In addition, many men who had initially opposed the Constitution ended up voting in favor of ratification, including Sam Adams.
Other anti-federalists who opposed the Constitution did so due to a variety of concerns about the new government, but only a small minority actually argued in favor of maintaining the Articles of Confederation. So why the overwhelming support for the Constitution among men who knew the difference between tyranny and freedom and who were willing to sacrifice so much for their ideals? The answer to this question reveals a situation which may have looked good on paper, but failed miserably in practice.

Paul’s comment on Twitter was as follows: “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’ Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn’t make sense”

Some are smugly pointing out that this disorder can be treated by repeating the trauma-inducing phenomenon under controlled conditions, thus making a shooting range a plausible site to attempt to aid someone with PTSD. Of course, it is not this part of Paul’s Twitter comment that is being criticized as “appalling”–it’s the part of the statement that says “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’”

The true meaning of the Preamble is the secret of the Constitutional Convention. Everyone reads himself or herself into that Preamble, however, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention are the “We the People of the United States.”

There is an interesting story about the 2008 election coming out of Wikileaks. Memos from Stratfor released by Wikileaks say that widespread voter fraud occurred in Ohio and that “black Dems were caught stuffing the ballot boxes in Philly.” The McCain campaign knew about the fraud but feared taking action because of the “possibility of domestic violence” if they challenged the results in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

You have probably broken multiple laws today that you don’t even know exist. We have all become criminals and lawbreakers because almost everything is illegal at this point.
Our politicians are convinced that they are “making life better” by piling gigantic mountains of laws on to our backs, and law enforcement authorities are convinced that they are helping society by “cracking down on crime”, but the reality is that our liberties and our freedoms are being strangled by all of this government oppression. This is not the way that America is supposed to work.
Yes, every society needs laws. But the laws should be short enough and simple enough that everybody can read them and understand them.
In America today, there is no possible way that any of us could ever read all of the laws that apply to us. Most of us just live our daily lives and try to do the “right” thing. But there is no guarantee that men with guns will not show up at your door one evening because of some obscure regulation that you have broken.

Because of the lack of gold or silver mines in colonial America, there were no “colonial” coins. The coins in circulation were those of Britain or other sovereigns. The value of the Pennsylvania Pound was derived entirely from the reputation of the principals of the bank, of which Benjamin Franklin was one and George Clymer, as president of the bank, was another. Despite the lack of redemption promise, the impeccable and honest way in which the Bank of Philadelphia was run caused the value of the Pennsylvania Pound never to drop below the value of monetary coin. This remarkable fact was cited by Adam Smith in his book The Wealth of Nations, published in 1776.
I do not see a contradiction in my logic when I praise the Bank of Philadelphia for adhering to the Real Bills “Doctrine” without promising redemption in monetary coin. The Real Bills “Doctrine” only requires that the value of bank notes in circulation always match the value of un-matured Real Bills held by the bank. I am sure that in the case of the Bank of Pennsylvania this was the case at all times.

The assertion was made at a debate in Philadelphia between British and American lawyers over the legitimacy of the United States of America.
At the debate, pitting British barristers against American attorneys, lawyers for the former colonial power argued that America’s Declaration of Independence in 1776 “was not only illegal, but actually treasonable,” according to the BBC.
The lawyers representing the British team decided that the Americans had no legal grounds for secession. “[President Abraham] Lincoln made the case against secession and he was right.”

America today: the “flash mob” of “youths”.
The term “flash mob” originally referred to groups of peaceful citizenry who gathered for what are best called “social experiments” – jovial sing-alongs and dance-alongs and other forms of harmless improvisational theater.
I was personally caught up by several such “flash mobs” in New York City – and smiled at the entertaining street theater.
Times have changed rapidly, and ominously so.
In Wisconsin – home to JPFO’s office – “Witnesses’ accounts claim everything from dozens to hundreds of young black people beating white people as they left State Fair Thursday night.” (WTMJ News).
In Philadelphia, the “mayor talks tough to black teenagers after ‘flash mobs’ … attack people at random on the streets of the city’s tourist and fashionable shopping districts.” (Washington Times). The mayor has now imposed a curfew on the City.
“In Chicago on Memorial Day weekend, roving teens flashed gang signs, knocked cyclists off their bikes and harassed picnickers.” (Washington Times)
We’ve seen similar events in Peoria, IL; Atlanta, GA; Las Vegas, NV; and – close to home for me personally – South Orange, NJ. (Flash Mobs).
And while you won’t see it in the MSM, you can find plenty of blogs that highlight the racial undertones – and overtones – of these flash mobs. Here’s an account of a Peoria eye-witness who says the mob chanted “kill all the white people.” (See Blog).
As most decent people are watching the stock market gyrations and following our federal government’s mismanagement of both monetary and fiscal policy, our nation is entering an unpredictable phase. I’m sorry to say that, based on history, things are going to get worse. Just look at London, England, where four nights of rioting hooligans have resulted in the deployment of an extra 16,000 police officers in an attempt to stop the looting, vandalism, destruction, assaults, and robbery.
My response to “flash mobs”?
GET A GUN.
Get a gun, and learn how to shoot it accurately, under pressure. If you find yourself in a “flash mob,” the police will NOT show up in time to do you a bit of good. These mobs gather in minutes and disburse just as quickly when the first police car arrives. Or worse, they attack the first police officers until backup arrives.
What kind of gun should you get? Start with a quality semi-automatic pistol. A standard magazine of 12 or 15 rounds will come with it, and you can purchase and carry one or two backup magazines on your person or in your car. If your state laws allow it, a loaded shotgun in your car wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
Interestingly enough the State of Illinois (Peoria “flash mob”) will not issue concealed weapon permits.
Wisconsin (Milwaukee “flash mob”) has a newly instated concealed carry system, but it hasn’t been in place long enough for many Wisconsinites to get their carry permits.
And in London, all guns are outlawed.
Thank G-d, in America, we still have the Second Amendment.
I’m an Orthodox Jew. It is our people’s custom to dress in a somewhat distinctive manner. Orthodox Jews stand out. I want to ask a very somber question: How do you think one of these mobs of “youths” out looking for victims will react to a car full of Orthodox Jews?
Evil force can only be met by righteous opposing force – effective, superior, righteous opposing force.
One righteous person in Milwaukee, licensed to carry concealed, stepping out of his or her car and shooting one of the “youths” as they were beating the teen victim would have stopped that “flash mob” instantly. This would also have been a legal shooting, as it was done to save an innocent life.
Similarly, I wonder how out of control a “flash mob” of racist “youths” might evolve in gun toting Phoenix, Arizona?
But most Jews in America have chosen to disarm themselves. In these times of growing economic and social unrest, nothing could be more foolish.
To all my Jewish brothers and sisters I say again: GET A GUN. Learn to use it safely and responsibly. And prepare to defend yourself and those you love.
To all my righteous non-Jewish friends I send the same message. This growing evil must be met directly, and with ice cold determination. The police WILL NOT be there on time.

Philly officials reported that the latest violent flash mob to hit the streets were from an Oprah-funded charter school.
Caught On Tape: Philadelphia Teen Mob Attack: MyFoxPHILLY.com The Blaze reported:
The incident occurred July 29—the same day flash mob attacks took place in another section of the city—just blocks from Mastery Charter High School. Students in the video face expulsion or suspension, school officials wrote in a letter to residents in the area where the attack took place.
Sources told Fox 29 that man attacked in the video was hospitalized with injuries to his head and teeth. No charges have been filed so far, police told Fox 29.
“It makes me sick,” said Mastery CEO Scott Gordon.”We’re very very upset about it, that any student, but particularly a student that’s been in a Mastery school, would behave like that, to think that that’s okay, is very disturbing.”
Mastery’s parent company received $1 million from Winfrey last September as part of her Angel Network.

In May 2010, the price of a license, called a medallion, to own one taxi in New York City sold for $603,000. As referenced in my recent book, “Race and Economics,” New York City is not alone. In Chicago, a taxi license costs $56,000, Boston $285,000 and Philadelphia $75,000. It’s not rocket science to understand the effect of laws that produce these prices: They discriminate against anyone getting into the taxi business who lacks tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars or bank credit to be able to get a loan.

Would there have been an American “Civil War” if there had been no US Constitution first?
Our first constitution, the Articles Of Confederation, had no provisions for a federal government; no president, no congress, no supreme court–and, of course, none of the multitudes of alphabet federal agencies, a standing army, etc. that have come into being.
Our biggest problems and complaints now have to do with all of the above. And, it has been chiefly since the civil war that federal big government has grown even larger and more oppressive.
The constitutional convention that met in secret in Philadelphia in 1787 was to only update The Articles Of Confederation, not to do away with it completely and replace it with a new constitution. And, the new constitution would never have come into being had not a Bill Of Rights been added.
So, should our original, first, constitution have been amended only?
Something to think about.
